The hotel environment is very quiet and worth a visit

If You go anywhere once in your life this has to be on the list

Lake Louise, quick look around the crowds, then move on to Lake Moraine, you will not regret it

we stayed at Lake Moraine lodge, yes its costs, but Lake Louise area is not cheap, so it only a little more in money,

but it is SO mush more in Experience Remember

You can always earn money tomorrow, but you can't buy memories, you have to Experience them

Caveat - this place is so good they have to limit people going to it. we were on a driving tour, that's why i booked the hotel, you are Guaranteed to get in, otherwise the other option is by bus. if you're going by car get there VERY early otherwise you may not get up the road

Great location but unfortunately egregiously overpriced and management seems only interested in how they can further monetize their customer.

If you want to see moraine lake, my recommendation is visit for the day, pack your own lunch, and stay the night in town. Avoid this place on long weekends as they will charge you to park in the overflow (its normally free but we had to pay $60 since they closed the free parking lots to force you to pay for their shuttle service). 5 stars for the lake itself, -4 stars since they run it like a scam

Come for the beauty, stay for the food!!! We stayed for four nights. The food was absolutely delicious. From breakfast to library sandwiches and soup, to evening cookies and coffee and an evening meal what can I say only WOW!!! Apart from the food the lake and surroundings were stunning. Accommodation was excellent with extremely friendly staff always willing to advise where needed. I can not recommend Moraine Lake Lodge highly enough!

Everything was awesome. The service was top notch. And waking up was truly unforgettable experience. Every one in the family including my mother in law love it.

The lake was beautiful! The ledge looked great, but we did not have time to visit.

Avoid the crowds of Lake Louise and opt for Moraine Lake instead - smaller and much quieter. The Lodge accommodation was superb, loved the unique decoration and the atmosphere of the place.
Dined in the restaurant, food was excellent with service to match

Fantastic staff, glorious setting, great value when considering: (1) unfettered access to exclusive location, (2) complimentary use of canoes, (3) excellent breakfast buffet included, and (4) top-notch dining experience so you're not tempted to leave the premises at all. Will return for a longer stay, definitely.

Great place to stay. It has an incredible view. Very friendly staff, and excellent atmosphere. I recommend this for anyone who likes the outdoors but wants a nice cabin to stay at.

We stopped to use the washroom on our way out to hike.

Typical souvenir shop on this is right on Lake Moraine. No issues on my one visit to this location.

My favourite place in Canada...maybe the world! Wonderful stay at the lodge -- comfy accommodations, friendly staff& the most spectacular views. A great bucket-list experience.

Perfect place to get an over priced item, for example $3 for a small bottle of water.

If you want to stay at the most beautiful place in the world then you should stay here. It gets really busy here so it's a nice advantage to have parking and a place to stay right next to this amazing lake. It's a little pricey but I don't know if there is another place quite like this.

Don't visit, stay. We had two nights here just at the end of season and enjoyed a cabin and walks and the great dinners and breakfasts. We did a few hikes and managed to borrow Bear spray from reception as there are active Grizzlies in the area.

The beauty of this area is unbelievable! Highly recommend!

Beautiful scenery and good short hike around the lake.

Spectacular environment formed by the lake, the mountains, the glacier and the forest. Magnificent views from the rocky mountain.

Beautiful lodge! Passed through on a hike with a group of 5 and it was great! Nice views and good coffee made the Moraine Lake Lodge a good stop.

Great views. Great food. And great staff. One star is removed due to lack of services and amenities ( no tv, no room service, very early check out time, no baby cribs, and no telephone in rooms)

Stopped in while hiking at the lake. Looked like a nice place to stay and staff was friendly and helpful.

The lake and the environment is a natural wonder. The hotel is a mole that destabilizes the environment. On the lake you can paddle and go hiking and biking. It is an ideal habitat for Canadian wildlife.

Tremendous view. We rented a canoe ($60 for unlimited time) and had a very good time here.

It opens in summer for few months only

Room was pretty big, but the pillows were really spiky. Besides that, my family really enjoyed the night with fast WiFi.

A lake close to Lake Louis. Do not forget to go here. Beautiful lake and panoramic view. The restaurant sells tasty food although might be crowded in peak season.
Parking might be an issue in busy season.

Beautiful lake, head there for the sunrise and get amazing views of the scenery. I didn't stay at the lodge but did head to the cadw and reception area to drop off something and the staff was extremely pleasant.

Convenient location for Rocky Mountain trip with free breakfast and fair price. Will check in again next time on my trip to Banff National Park.

Despite the insane amount of people, this lake is something to be seen.
