We rented cabin thinking extra money would provide better view and obscurity. Instead provided almost no view and 1000's of people walking and talking right outside window starting at 4am - midnight. Great service. Steak was the best I ever had. The lake is absolutely stunning. Free canoe with room. The cheaper rooms are better. Cabin is not a single unit. It is a duplex.

'3 Star Hotel' goes the description on Google maps...hahaha! If you're after 'stars' go to Lake Louise with the rest of the sheep and enjoy the horrendous crowds, if you want class, peace and tranquility come here. Outstanding. (Stayed Aug 16)

I went there to rent two canoes and asked the rental place if there is any discount. They told me no discount. Layer I notice Moraine lake lodge offer 10% discount towards cafe gift shop and canoe rental for shuttle riders in a very small sign next to their direction sign. When I asked the canoe rental if they can refund the discount, they said no.
It is a beautiful lake. But it might not be an honest business.

A hotel just to feel good. Rooms are comfortably furnished with additional stove. With balcony and two chairs with direct view to Moraine Lake. In the room is free coffee from Illy, tea, chocolate, nuts and red wine in the bathroom are only L'Occitane articles afternoon of 3-5 there are coffee / tea and biscuits in library room. Breakfast is delicious and the restaurant is excellent. In the evening you can quietly visit the Moraine Lake without crowds of people. Absolute recommendation

$800 for a night at the lodge? Seriously not worth it. A couple of friends and I stayed at the lodge this past weekend during a trip to the Rockies. The 4 of us stayed in their rooms (2 queen-sized beds).

Good:
- Breakfast was included, and it was delicious
- The view of Moraine Lake is spectacular, and I would argue it's even better than Lake Louise. Lots of hikes around the area as well!
- The staff are super gracious and friendly

Bad:
- $800 for a night... why? It's way cheaper to stay in town and just stop by Moraine Lake for the day
- The rooms are very small. We had a room with 2 queen-sized beds for the 4 of us, and they basically covered 80% of the space
- There aren't any amenities other than a small library area (with very little books to choose from and some random board games). The wi-fi is very slow, and cut off a number of times on me
- The bathroom tub plugged on us as we were using it, so we had to ask the staff to unplug it for us. It seemed like something they already knew was a problem, though they did fix it for us during our stay

Overall, it was an okay stay. Just way too expensive for what they actually offer.

Amazing place, VISIT IN THE EARLY MORNING. The crowds of tourists made the area almost unworkable by 1pm. The Lodge is nice, did not stay, the restaurant and Cafe are also nice.

Personally find this to be an even better lake than Lake Louise. The drive to the lake is nice. You will find a small hill near the lake with view points on top, definitely attempt the climb and be rewarded with some breathtaking views of the lake. If you are going in summer, remember to carry your bug sprays or mosquito repellent. If anyone knows of a small hike around here, do share

Stayed at the cozy Moraine Lake Lodge. Completely worth the splurge. Food was fantastic, free canoe privileges, and fun guided hikes included. Free breakfast was amazing as well. Lunch options were very limited, but having this amazing place to yourself once all the day tourists leave is priceless.

This is a cute little lodge right on the edge of the lake. It seems like a great place to stay although the lake is pretty crowded with tourists.

We stopped in the gift shop after our hike and got a gorgeous Christmas ornament. The staff was incredibly friendly when we were checking out.

It seemed like the rooms would be nice. They also have a cafe and restaurant, but we didn't go to either.

If you want to beat the crowds and not deal with parking at Moraine Lake, this is your place to stay.

If you are not an overnight guest, they don't allow you to use the dining area if you buy food from the deli. They will ask you to take a seat in what looks like the waiting area for the dining area for the guests.
Coffee and food below mediocre in terms of quality. In terms of price they are very high up there. No free wifi for the visitors.
