I was scared to death to go there, but it was the best decision I made. They helped me with my grief and sadness, put me on the right medication, met many nice people with all different problems, made friends, and the staff was wonderful. I was there for10 days.

ZERO stars!!!

ZERO stars!!!
What an absolute nightmare. This place is so far below the standard of care that it is just unbelievable to me that it still is in operation.
They are literally abusing patients behind closed doors. Mind boggling. False medical diagnoses are occurring in order to collect insurance and gain funding. There are due process violations, insurance fraud, medical negligence, human rights violations, HIPPA violations, rodents in sleeping quarters and the list goes on and on. Please do not have your loved one go to this facility. This place needs to be investigated, people need to be prosecuted and this facility needs to be shut down.

If you are a family member looking for help during a loved ones crisis MCES will not help you, they will make the situation worse. They will Take your loved ones off their daily medicine, they have no problem not communicating with family about their loved ones. If I could give negative stars I would. Someone from their call center told me they weren t the god of the call center when I called during a crisis

just came home from mces and it was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. THEY BREACHED THEIR DUTY OF CARE. i went in with stitching on my left hand from a skateboarding accident and the staff gave me advice to put antibacterial stuff onto it and it became severely infected. mces is not fit to be a hospital and its doors should not even be open at all. the staff was very rude to me and other patients and most of the staff it seems really didn't know how to perform their duties properly. my best advice is to avoid mces.

I was 19 when I self admitted myself into inpatient care, all I can say is that this place was a living hell. The first 10 minutes I was there I told staff this was not the place for me and nobody listened. I wasn t even allowed to apply to leave until I started taking the heavy doses of medication they pushed into my lap. It took 10 days for them to release me. Not to mention the way I witnessed other patients getting treated, they denied someone from leaving the facility for a day to receive their chemotherapy, it simply wasn t right. I may be young but this experience has taught me more than apparently anyone running/working in the facility has learned in their entire lives. Haven t even had to mention the awful food I only ate after 3 days because I was starving, the way they deny patients from activities because of their disabilities , it made me sick. They had a patient that they were very familiar with but would consistently not let him into the rec hall because of his disabilities from his stroke, even though the only smile I had ever seen on his face was when he was kicking my butt in pool. Please not for my own gratification, but for other human beings sake, close this facility down.

As a mental health professional myself I am surprised that such a facility still exists. The care here is mediocre. The groups are so below the baseline, although the therapist generally do care. The techs care as well. Meds are pushed here over actual treatment and the facility itself is outdated and quite frankly gross. I cannot believe the facility hasn't been shut down. I wish I could say more, but I'm just going to make the proper calls, but please whatever you do, do not send anyone you actually love here. They're not gonna get help.
