Our daughter went to MPA in the 2nd grade and the teacher let her fall through the cracks and then proceeded to tell us we needed to talk to our pediatrician about her level of distraction. I asked him if he thought she was distracted or if she was bored, to which he just sat there with a blank stoic stare. My wife and I decided to immediately withdraw her from MPA and enroll in another school. Her focus improved and oddly enough she is an A student now.

Subsequently, we have seen quite a few other students leave and come to our school in the last 4 years. I have also heard from numerous sources that the Director in charge stepped down and her husband (our child's teacher) retired that same year.

Great teachers, great community, hands-on learning that fosters independence and critical thinking. Have had 3 kids there from 3 years old to 11 years old. Couldn't be happier with the program.

I loved my experience here but, its not really the best school for everyone. Their is a lot of drama that happens in this school which leads to the love triangles to the bullying. I went here with a smile on my face, I still love the place but the teachers ~some of them, do not stop any bullying or anything bad happening. My brother got hurt really badly because of this school but the school was fine for me. Its a good school~ but a bad school.

I know nothing of the school, other then the horrific parents. If you are traveling down Kipling during the school rush between 7:45-8:30, I guarantee you will be cut off while someone attempts to make an illegal 3 lane change in order to get little Samantha to school on time. Pro tip: That $60,000 Lexus or BMW comes with this really awesome thing it is on the left side of the steering wheel, a turn signal. Here's one more, if you left for school a little earlier then you wouldn't have to make an illegal lane change and could safely drop off little Sammie on time without risking other drivers around you.

I went to this school for 7 years, I love the idea they have, and its just an idea, they don't follow through with it. The goal of the school is for peace and love, when it is nothing but drama and bullying, The teachers are incredibly one sided in an argument. The after school program in horrific. The people there want it to go their way, The kids have no respect. The management is slipping, There has been 5 principles in the time i was there. Most of the teachers don't do anything about bullying. The consequences are very little to none. I got physically hurt by a few students and they didn't even get scolded. Ang oml, don't get me started on the grading system, it is the most confusing thing ever.

My son is on an IEP for special education and none of the agreed upon accommodations were implemented to support his educational needs. He wasted his third grade year with an incompetent "teacher" that either isolated him or sent him to the office where he spent days hiding under the furniture. Heartbreaking.
