Great spot for local craft beer! Good atmosphere and good prices.
Great beers! Fantastic vatiety and good environment..
Your typical brewery experience, but it's done right. Bring some food and enjoy it with friends.
Amazing brewery always crafting new and delicious beers.
Great beverages, really nice staff and great atmosphere.
The best in house brewed beer in the bronx, service is always top notch and the vibe is friendly and welcoming. Stay and sip or take home and relax with a nice cold one, either way is the right choice.
Great place to go with friends and good selections on beer. If they added some board games would make it even more interesting.
Great atmosphere, really good beer, and friendly staff. I would definitely return.
Nice spot in the Bronx. Similar space to Single cut in Queens. You can get little bites if food like Empanadas and pretzels. Good variety of beer.
Always a great time. Kermit last nite was THE host with the most. Totally chill vibe. Killer tunes.
Really cool hang out in the Bronx. Great beer! Laid back atmosphere. Cool spot for friends to gather . I would have been much happier if they sold pitchers !!
Wonderful place had a nice time !!! Great friendly service !!! Will definitely go back !!! The selection of beer is awesome !!!
Great place!! Nice atmosphere. Delicious beer!!! Staff is very friendly. Check it out!
What a great addition to this area of The Bronx. So many good beers to choose from, and now they have a select offering of snacks available as well. I recommend checking out their social media because there are always events happening that are worth attending.
Always a pleasure... I love when they have new beers to try out... and the bartenders are just great... I love this place.
The Bartender was terrific here. Overall, very delicious beer and cool digs. Live from Jacoby and the P-ish falcon saison were bad ass. Keep up the good work.
I really enjoy this spot. They always have an excellent variety of craft beer. My current favorites are the Brux Tale (9.5%) and the Barley Wine (11.5%). You gotta try them. The staff are friendly and it's a good after work spot with friends or if your bae likes craft beer. Gun Hill Brewery is a must visit spot.
Its became one our fab craft beer spots staff always friendly recommendations the void of light my fav beer of theres
This place is always a.great place to go for some drinks. It's just a chill spot to have a few beers maybe meet some people around the area and then go home.
Soft music, relaxing, friendly atmosphere. I love the taste rack which let's you sample all the brews available. Snack foods and warm pretzels, as well as empanadas for sale.
Cool neighborhood spot for brews & bar food. Just wish there were more food options, even though you can bring outside food into the bar.
Best beer in the Bronx bring your own food. Great ambience and board gamrs.
I love Gun Hill's beers, some more than others but they are really good. GHB is run by a bunch of really nice people who a passionate about their product.
I would like to encourage every one to visit the place and try their beers, you won't regret it.
Great beers always has a great vibe. Super chill spot
Very small selection of bear hard to get service at table.
This place is a favorite. They a great variety of brewers that are constantly changing. There is always something to suit everyone's tastes. The prices are great and the bartenders are really nice. The laid back relaxed feel of the place is a nice getaway from the city.
This brewery has a great ambiance! The beers and empanadas are a great combination but you are allowed to order in extra food.
Always a great time. My only complaint is that i never have enough time to sit and grab a beer when i pass by
The Beers are awesome you can get what they call a flight for like $15 and you get 6 beers of your choice. The small hand foods like empanadas and stuff are a little pricey for the size but still taste good.
This place is great! They always have fun events going on, the beer is delicious and affordable, and the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is great too!
Excellent place for lovers of craft beer. Warm atmosphere, good music and above all great variety of beers to try, while sharing a board game.
Delicious beers. Great ambiance. Diverse crowd. Awesome staff. Five stars!
Great beer. It's close to a 5, but could probably use a larger bar seating area and a second toilet.
Great spot for delicious beer no matter the style. Mostly indoor seating however the brewery does offer a few outdoor seats just outside the roll-up door. Weekly events with live music, fresh empanadas, amazing staff, and good vibes ... what else do you need?
The best beer in nyc. Get the samples so you can get to taste all the beers. (Warning) once you taste this beer's you are going to get hooked on it and this will be the only beer you want to drink. When you are buying beer to go. Keep the empty bottles in the trunk of your car because each bottle is $5.00. That way you only pay for the beer if you are taking it to go.
Chilli contest while drinking awesome beers? Priceless!
Many regulars/locals from the early days can still be found enjoying the, ever changing list of, creative Bronx brewed craft-beers on a Friday night.
It's an active Brewery. The fork lift
(Which is tucked well behind the bar but still visible) (Try not to wander around) and bags of malt are not for show.
It's a place that draws in good people of every flavor and style.
Don't believe me? Stop in and grab a pint. See for yourself...
We enjoyed the beers we tried, sours were delicious!
Love this place. Good beer just bring your own food. Relaxed place to have beer, hang w friends. Plan to order in while here.
Amazing service, Bartender is great, fast service.. food is delicious.. and it's an awesome crowd.
Interesting spot, found it on our way home from CT. Good beer and a few snacks. Sparse but perfectly fine for some brews if you're in the area. I wouldn't make a special trip from afar... But if your close by, do check it out. Friendly staff. Growlers too.
They filled my Growler with no problem. Everyone was really nice and helpful. And good beer...
Nice few selection of beer. Great slow cooked firewood BBQ[over-night] beef or chicken, best in America. Big up to Mike
Very good kraft beer selection. Nice view of beer instalation. Good hotdogs and fresh burgers.
Nice place in the Bronx with an excellent crowd. Everyone is friendly and lovely to be around. Given this, the last time I visited the place had a funny hops smell. I know it's a brewery, but it was overwhelmingly hoppy.
Great beers and empanadas. Fun rustic vibe in unassuming location in the Bronx.
So much fun! If you interested in the process of making beer go for a pint; just go for a pint !
Excellent beers. One of my favorite breweries ever. I wish they would reconsider and run a 2nd canning of Mister Softee Stout. So good.
UPDATE: I really appreciated the speedy response to my concern and their rectifying the situation. 5 stars for great customer service.
I want to preface my review with the fact that I've been to the brewery several times and had an excellent time. The beers are excellent, the staff has always been really nice and I have received great service. Tonight, however, I had an experience I cannot go without sharing. I went out with my wife and two friends (all of us fans of the brewery) for a few drinks. After sitting and getting a card game going, we were approached by a gentleman letting us know karaoke was starting (less than an hour to last call) and we would have to sing. Even when some other patrons sang and others were visibly upset that the karaoke was happening and took the place of the sports on the TV, he persisted. We graciously told him we would not be participating, at which point he continued to interrupt us and overtake our conversation (through a number of times when we insisted that we were not interested and were very forward about wanting to be left alone), to a point where we got so fed up we closed out our tabs and left. As much as I enjoy the brewery, this experience insures myself, my wife and my friends will NEVER come back on a Saturday or Monday (when the karaoke goes on) if ever.
Good place, they had there celebrating there 4th year anniversary.Nice place for craft beer.
Awesome place, great beer, delicious empanadas and great staff. Not to miss.
Amazing. This area of the Bronx needed this and we enthusiastically welcome this new addition to our community. The beers are of superb quality. The service, always with a smile. And the prices... unheard of. Grab a pint for 5 bucks or a flight for 7. I recommend the pomegranate wheat. Its out of this world.
This guy name will
He's a great guy
So graceful will
So graceful when he pours beer. Amazing stuff.
Great Place In Bronx to Have A Brew and Chill in That City-Soho-Williamsburg-Harlem like Atmosphere.
Powerful day great customer service and flying saucers
Nice selection of beer. Dark and cold with some weird dance music. Weird vibe but the beer was on point.
It was god out door atmosphere. I got the jug but couldn't drink it there unfortunately , but good over all. You can take your own food there :)
Another great local brewery for the Bronx. Their signature stouts and seasonal fruit-centric ales are especially good.
Waited patiently for my flight, watched flights poured for everyone in front of me, it's my turn and I get a "no time for flights" no apology, and then he wants to enforce the credit minimum, I have "No Time" for your beer, thanks
Fantastic beers, reasonable prices, comfy casual setting that never gets too rowdy. Super nice staff. I never hang out at bars, but I love this place.
really chill spot for delicious beers. friendly staff and patrons in an urban setting. super cool that they gave ny state ingredients for a number of flagship brews.
We made a quick visit to pick up the new NEIPA, Oops a Hazy, which is under 5.5%. Most feature ABV higher than I want. 5.5 is my upper limit. Had a quick sample and it's tasty! Brought some home.
Also sampled the Simcoe Soft Serve IPA at 4%. Low ABV and packed with flavor! I gave a 4 pack of that a home too.
Can't wait to try Walk in the Woods, a Cedar infused Pale Ale, and Ritual Union, a Coffee Berliner Weisse! Are you kidding me!
Also quick visit with the head brewer, Chris. I knew from prior experience that he can put together a tasty, low ABV portfolio. In a world where everyone wants high ABV, Gun Hill serves a good balance between low and high. Will be following their low ABV releases a bit more closely going forward!
Great IPAs, Bronx gem. Becoming a staple of the Bronx.
