The best in house brewed beer in the bronx, service is always top notch and the vibe is friendly and welcoming. Stay and sip or take home and relax with a nice cold one, either way is the right choice.

What a great addition to this area of The Bronx. So many good beers to choose from, and now they have a select offering of snacks available as well. I recommend checking out their social media because there are always events happening that are worth attending.

I really enjoy this spot. They always have an excellent variety of craft beer. My current favorites are the Brux Tale (9.5%) and the Barley Wine (11.5%). You gotta try them. The staff are friendly and it's a good after work spot with friends or if your bae likes craft beer. Gun Hill Brewery is a must visit spot.

This place is a favorite. They a great variety of brewers that are constantly changing. There is always something to suit everyone's tastes. The prices are great and the bartenders are really nice. The laid back relaxed feel of the place is a nice getaway from the city.

The Beers are awesome you can get what they call a flight for like $15 and you get 6 beers of your choice. The small hand foods like empanadas and stuff are a little pricey for the size but still taste good.

Great spot for delicious beer no matter the style. Mostly indoor seating however the brewery does offer a few outdoor seats just outside the roll-up door. Weekly events with live music, fresh empanadas, amazing staff, and good vibes ... what else do you need?

The best beer in nyc. Get the samples so you can get to taste all the beers. (Warning) once you taste this beer's you are going to get hooked on it and this will be the only beer you want to drink. When you are buying beer to go. Keep the empty bottles in the trunk of your car because each bottle is $5.00. That way you only pay for the beer if you are taking it to go.

Many regulars/locals from the early days can still be found enjoying the, ever changing list of, creative Bronx brewed craft-beers on a Friday night.

It's an active Brewery. The fork lift
(Which is tucked well behind the bar but still visible) (Try not to wander around) and bags of malt are not for show.

It's a place that draws in good people of every flavor and style.

Don't believe me? Stop in and grab a pint. See for yourself...

Interesting spot, found it on our way home from CT. Good beer and a few snacks. Sparse but perfectly fine for some brews if you're in the area. I wouldn't make a special trip from afar... But if your close by, do check it out. Friendly staff. Growlers too.

Nice place in the Bronx with an excellent crowd. Everyone is friendly and lovely to be around. Given this, the last time I visited the place had a funny hops smell. I know it's a brewery, but it was overwhelmingly hoppy.

UPDATE: I really appreciated the speedy response to my concern and their rectifying the situation. 5 stars for great customer service.

I want to preface my review with the fact that I've been to the brewery several times and had an excellent time. The beers are excellent, the staff has always been really nice and I have received great service. Tonight, however, I had an experience I cannot go without sharing. I went out with my wife and two friends (all of us fans of the brewery) for a few drinks. After sitting and getting a card game going, we were approached by a gentleman letting us know karaoke was starting (less than an hour to last call) and we would have to sing. Even when some other patrons sang and others were visibly upset that the karaoke was happening and took the place of the sports on the TV, he persisted. We graciously told him we would not be participating, at which point he continued to interrupt us and overtake our conversation (through a number of times when we insisted that we were not interested and were very forward about wanting to be left alone), to a point where we got so fed up we closed out our tabs and left. As much as I enjoy the brewery, this experience insures myself, my wife and my friends will NEVER come back on a Saturday or Monday (when the karaoke goes on) if ever.

Amazing. This area of the Bronx needed this and we enthusiastically welcome this new addition to our community. The beers are of superb quality. The service, always with a smile. And the prices... unheard of. Grab a pint for 5 bucks or a flight for 7. I recommend the pomegranate wheat. Its out of this world.

Waited patiently for my flight, watched flights poured for everyone in front of me, it's my turn and I get a "no time for flights" no apology, and then he wants to enforce the credit minimum, I have "No Time" for your beer, thanks

We made a quick visit to pick up the new NEIPA, Oops a Hazy, which is under 5.5%. Most feature ABV higher than I want. 5.5 is my upper limit. Had a quick sample and it's tasty! Brought some home.

Also sampled the Simcoe Soft Serve IPA at 4%. Low ABV and packed with flavor! I gave a 4 pack of that a home too.

Can't wait to try Walk in the Woods, a Cedar infused Pale Ale, and Ritual Union, a Coffee Berliner Weisse! Are you kidding me!

Also quick visit with the head brewer, Chris. I knew from prior experience that he can put together a tasty, low ABV portfolio. In a world where everyone wants high ABV, Gun Hill serves a good balance between low and high. Will be following their low ABV releases a bit more closely going forward!
