Mont-Cascades ski resort Reviews

My friend's, my husband and I went to Mont Cascades yesterday. It was my first time trying to ski and the experience was really unpleasant since the begin. First, the staff didn't give us the poles as part of the ski rental and we had to come back to grab those (after waiting on the line again). Then, when I arrived to the hill and was trying to put my skis on for the first time, it wasn't properly set for my feet size and we had to come all the way back again, enter the line and wait for them to adjust it. As my first time, I had ZERO assistance when entering the lift to go up the hill, everytime was really hard.
The last time I was waiting for the lift (around 8:10pm and the staff was more worried about putting stuff away than watching skiers) the staff person who was supposed to take care of the lift, and perhaps stop if somebody requests assistance, didn't even see that I went to the side of the lift (I didn't fall) and wasn't right in the middle to take the lift.. this way my husband went alone on the lift seat and NOBODY asked me if I was ok or needed some help. At that point I just gave up trying to take the lift and had to wait for everybody to arrive at the bottom of the hill again (we decided to go home after that too).
The whole experience was really disappointing and I don't recommend this place to anyone. Wish I knew that all staff was so rude and unhelpful. If it was possible to give NO star, I surely would. Looks like nobody cares about you there. Lack of attention, organization, responsibility, and respect.

Great place. Good for a half day of fun. I love all of the slides. There's enough to keep it interesting and keep busy. Nothing compares to the tornado alley slide. I could spend all day riding it. Decent food. I just wish there was a larger, deeper, cooler pool. None of the pools are really for adults. But that's fine. The small park feel is what makes it comfortable here. Its chill.

Went there on a Sunday and it was very busy! Do not go on weekends haha! Other than that the hills were good minus the fact that there were lots of people but all in all was a good day!

Great hills even early in the season. Had fun this pass Monday trying my new skies. I am happy that this activity is very Covid-19 friendly.

Nice customer service. Just wish they d open exhibition and competition side of the mountain earlier in the day during weekdays

Very safe and secure ski slopes for kids! Well organised and helpful and friendly services.

The conditions were absolutely amazing! It did however say at 20/20 runs were open but that was not true once we got there!

Reasonable entrance fees to this modest yet great little water park. Even on the busiest of days the lines are tolerable. There's great options for all ages and group sizes. There is lots of tables and you can get food and drink here. Parking is plentiful and free. Beautiful setting to spend the day enjoying summer waterslides.

Was there on Friday afternoon. Covid restriction means that is basically limited to season pass holder... this makes for a pretty homogeneous crowd re ski level... add to that no waiting for lift... good skiing... no chalet .... saw some folk folks doing tail gate style refreshments... great afternoon after all

About 40 minutes drive from Ottawa. It was not a busy the day I went. So no line ups and ample parking. It is on the smaller side with about 6-7 slides. The surroundings are beautiful. Very laid back and fun for kids. A bit pricey though. Overall great day spent there.
