Covid is not kind on zoos. I am sure this is five star once everything can be open again. Very sensibly, everything is taken care of at the parking gate rather than having to deal with things twice as at most other zoos and museums.
The new elements are incredible! I hadn't been here in quite a while and it felt like a new zoo. Everything animal that the zoo has is fun to see and their are some great ways to interact. I definitely need to go more often.
Truly a wonderful visit with the animals. There are outside and inside exhibits, which allow to be socially distant and safe. Great way to celebrate a birthday as well! Consider getting a membership since it ll pay for itself after a couple visits and helps support the organization. We have particularly enjoyed it while visiting in the winter months as to combat cabin fever.
Such a fun zoo! It's has a ton of neat animals to see. We only had a couple of hours to spend here, and I wish we could have spent longer! Definitely stop by here if you are in the area.
Waaaay more than I expected. Great zoo. Wide variety of animals. Wide tree covered walkways for hot days. Well done. Even the parts that are old school and from the 60s are well done and must have been ahead of their time.
This place really fun I took my husband and little one and she had a fun time the animals look alive playing with one another and ones I have not seen and if you see a Peacock walking around don't worry they are friendly but I wouldn't try to pet them lol and they have food,drinks and if you forget a Stroller like I did it's only $7 and also have one for Adults and they have ones that move by themselves and have Strollers and wheelchair access to every building and to every Area to see all the animals freely with your family I will go again it close at 4pm and will not expect anyone pass 3:15pm at the gate so make sure you get there early enough it takes about good 4 hours to see everything so have fun and enjoy love it
we had a great experience with our family visiting this zoo. It s like the zoo in a forest all around green, beautiful nature. It wasn t crowded and kids could enjoy the scenes of animals. I like the conditions they keep in animals. Absolutely wonderful place for families with kids
Great experience! Took our infant daughter, plenty of space for social distancing and stroller access. Had a good time in the carousel, looking forward to the train being open. Baby changing stations available as well.
Very fun zoo. Lots of exhibits and plenty of room to walk and run. Everyone followed mask rules and my group felt very comfortable being there, inside and outside. We ate at the flamingo cafe and I think prices were fair considering it's good inside a zoo. The food was also pretty good, although the turkey avocado wrap didn't have any avocado. Oh well, no big deal! Will definitely go back!
Visited zoo on Mother's Day 2021. Was line at entrance but wait was short. Plenty of parking and facility clean. Mix of people wearing masks for COVID-19, with only signs to remind visitors to socially distance for safety. Beautiful spring day so animals outdoors basking in sun to make viewing pleasant. Great family day with wonderful memories.
