customer service today was a great HUMAN who handled my call PERFECTLY, she was polite and not at fault in any way for my COMPLAINTS or HOUR AND 13 MINUTE WAIT to speak with her, that said, my gripes, MAKE it possible for ANY payments, big or small, to be made. To ALWAYS be made, lower fees would be even better, but IF we could PAY whatever amount we can at any time, so we will actually be able to PAY our BILLS off, we WOULD. Life has all kinds of issues and has been so complicated lately, for too many, may your times get better, too, so when we have a small amount of money we could use to pay with online but then that payment doesn't go through, because it isn't the full amount or whatever BS reason we can't CHOOSE ANY AMOUNT to make the payment, guess what our food or the next expenses get paid for with that money instead, especially when during hard times we can't save money!

I'd give them -10 stars if it were possible. Over 3 months ago, our home builder, TJ Contracting / TJ Custom Homes out of Fairmont, WV, put a request in for electricity to be run for our home. Today, they were finally able to get a response from Mr. Holloway, the engineer working for Mon Power in Morgantown, WV. Our builder was told we have to delay closing, as the transformer, as well as additional wiring and equipment, will not be in on time. The excuse was, "Due to Covid... they can't get the necessary supplies in on time," of course. Under normal circumstances, I would think this is acceptable; however, Mr. Holloway and Mon Power had 3 months to make this happen, and couldn't even call the builder to notify them or the supposed short supplies. Three months is more than enough time even to battle the Covid-related constraints. Are they not able to get the necessary equipment from somewhere, anywhere, anyone, in the United States? It's their mistake and they should do what is necessary to fix it, even if it means paying more money our of their pockets to make it right. You can't just use Covid as an excuse for everything, especially when it's clearly not solely due to Covid. This needs to be made right by Mr. Holloway and Mon Power so we can close on our house on time (this Friday 01/15/2021). We have movers and a truck scheduled and already paid for for the aforementioned day, as well as furniture and appliance deliveries on Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th, respectively. If these dates are changed, the next available deliveries aren't for another month. This just needs to be made right by Mr. Holloway and Mon Power. If I was 3 months late on a bill, even 3 weeks, I'm sure they wouldn't have hesitated to shut my power off. Please fix this!

20 degrees in niece's house with no electric. Bill for 250 was paid and stayed off over a 50 reconnect that wasn't told for 3 more days as she waited for electric to come back on. Has brother on disability children. What BS.. What electric co turns off electric w/ covid in middle of winter over stinking 250 dollars.??????

Honestly have no issues with this power company, however i pay my bills on time and don't let them come shut my power off. May be a different story if not responsible. My bill averages 50-65 a month, which i was shocked by how low it was. I have paid way higher in the past for the same square footage. I do also use all LED bulbs, not sure how much that helps.

If it were possible, I'd give less than 1star! There has been less outages than previous years, still could improve. Many time's there is no reason for the outages, the weather nice & clear all around but when there's a reason like weather or accidents it doesn't go off & on or completely out. They could also do better maintaining their equipment & keeping trees away from lines.

I'm shocked that they charge a huge amount of money upfront for turn-on service to start with...I've never experienced this even given my good credit. My bill jumped from $116 to $184 in one month. I've lived in expensive NY, NJ and I never paid that much (even for a bigger house) for electric. I find it weird that it would jump that much ($68!) in one month? I don't trust this company. I've had PSE&G and PSG and Con Edison and I never experienced a utility company this outrageous. They tell me to apply for heat help with Health & Human Services LOL - what a rip off company! I'm stuck with them because my property owners "use" them. They DESPERATELY NEED OUTSIDE SUPPLIERS IN WV so West Virginian's have more options to stop the outrageous price gorging during a pandemic!

Power shuts off constantly. Can t go more than 3 weeks w out a power outage. Your one job is the keep the power on and they can t. If it rains power goes out. If it s cloudy power goes out. If it s windy... you get the point.
