I'd give them -10 stars if it were possible. Over 3 months ago, our home builder, TJ Contracting / TJ Custom Homes out of Fairmont, WV, put a request in for electricity to be run for our home. Today, they were finally able to get a response from Mr. Holloway, the engineer working for Mon Power in Morgantown, WV. Our builder was told we have to delay closing, as the transformer, as well as additional wiring and equipment, will not be in on time. The excuse was, "Due to Covid... they can't get the necessary supplies in on time," of course. Under normal circumstances, I would think this is acceptable; however, Mr. Holloway and Mon Power had 3 months to make this happen, and couldn't even call the builder to notify them or the supposed short supplies. Three months is more than enough time even to battle the Covid-related constraints. Are they not able to get the necessary equipment from somewhere, anywhere, anyone, in the United States? It's their mistake and they should do what is necessary to fix it, even if it means paying more money our of their pockets to make it right. You can't just use Covid as an excuse for everything, especially when it's clearly not solely due to Covid. This needs to be made right by Mr. Holloway and Mon Power so we can close on our house on time (this Friday 01/15/2021). We have movers and a truck scheduled and already paid for for the aforementioned day, as well as furniture and appliance deliveries on Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th, respectively. If these dates are changed, the next available deliveries aren't for another month. This just needs to be made right by Mr. Holloway and Mon Power. If I was 3 months late on a bill, even 3 weeks, I'm sure they wouldn't have hesitated to shut my power off. Please fix this!
