In the past few years Monmouth Park had gone from a basic race track to a family friendly and fun day out for all. Every weekend they have a different festival, usually with some food option. Sundays are kids days with bounce houses etc. Their are plenty of tellers to take your bets as well.
We always go for the Haskell and have such a wonderful time.
Always a fun place to come to enjoy the horse racing! Now they have big screens for sports bets.
Depending on the date you always find something new, from festivals, food trucks and beer gardens to kids fun.

Used Groupon. Was sent to three different lines to redeem. Once inside, personnel was scarce. Had to wander around to find someone to help us find our seats. Roof leaked over our private box so we had to move. There were ants everywhere on ledge. We were continually knocki g them off our food and ourselves. On the positive side racing was fun to watch and food was very reasonably priced
Always a good time. Went for the beer and BBQ fest... Food was awesome and the craft brews selection was even better...
Shady bets and poor bar service makes this place avoidable.
Great family friendly horse racing park. BYOB if you want. Coolers and food allowed...size is limited.
Very impressed with the new ownership. Service was good, Drinks were generous and food was excellent. Plus a whole day of racing!
Grew up around the corner, worked as a hot-walker, helped Bud Lepman and made $18,000 in one summer. I love the look, the smells and the ambiance of the Park. Regardless of it making money or not it needs to exist for it defines the area.

Always a pleasure visiting Monmouth Park. This time it was utilized for the NJ Marathon parking. It was slightly uncoordinated but it was great regardless. The event but moreover the Park.
Good afternoon fun at the shore it's ashame that people don't take advantage of it.
Enjoyed myself! I liked that it wasn't too hot and I didn't have to walk too far to place my $2 bet.
Always have a great time here. The events are a blast. Need to check out the craft beer and bbq festival, it will definitely be worth it.
I'm not a gambler but the cashier's we're great to explain betting on horses and our entire family rented the benched areas for a memorable party! If you have the chance rent a bus, pack a cooler with killer snacks, and get a private party area at Monmouth Race Track! You won't be disappointed...

What a great facility. Always was, add sports betting, some cool food and drinks. They could do food trucks again on Saturday & Sunday.

My family and I have been attending Monmouth Track for over 50 years ! We were extremely excited that sports betting became legalized in New Jersey. What we did not realize the amount of Gangs or Thugs that sports betting has a attracted to Monmouth Track . I do not feel safe bringing my family there . We live in ocean port and our local police has mention to us on how dangerous the track has become and the numerous of crimes that are committed at the track by Gangs and Thugs from nearby Asbury and Neptune. We are concern . And the security there seems to be limited. Please Beware !
We love going to Monmouth racetrack and we come from Brooklyn. they have plenty of backyard picnic tables . There is a jungle gym for the kids to play on. There is areas that you can even rent for very large groups and you can BBQ in them.
Great seating and views visible from the grandstands. Well kept grounds and seating areas. The food selection is pretty good as well as the craft local beers. Great for all ages. There is some that will cater to everyone's enjoyment. Great historical construction.
Awesome place and sports book is on it's way. Can't be beat!
A visit to Monmouth Park is a day of pleasure. The day we went, a food truck festival was being held. The food was delicious. There's a lot of room to move about and be comfortable. The music was great!
What a waste of beautiful space. Run down trashy race track. I'm never going back. Very disappointed.
We sat at the picnic area, there are tables with umbrellas so you can sit. We were right on top of the track. Restrooms and getting were close by. It was a nice day at the track. Plus you can bring your own food and drinks, coolers with beer ect...

Nice place that is a bit ancient in its accommodations.On a hot day, very few places to cool off as the Track Bldg is Not Air Conditioned.Did not see many patrons on a Friday afternoon.

Beautiful park. Well organized admission booths and gambling stations. Lots of available free parking.
I'm not one to gamble, but my wife and I enjoy going to the racetrack for the other events.
Beautiful track and under new Management which is a plus.

Love it here! Great fun with friends or for a date night. If you spend $3 you can get the book with all of the horse/jockey information. Bring your own pen and you save $0.50. Walk through the entire place and the bar at the end usually has a wide selection of craft beers not just the standard beers. There is always great food. Just an overall good time.
