A beautiful, well-tended garden area through many countries around the world with a lovingly designed thematic area. This alone is worth a visit.
The range of games for children is excellent. Playground, water raft boat with cable for independent transport across the small river, rides, bouncy hills ... there is a lot to experience and discover. Great!
There are numerous animal species to see. Some "areas of life" are likely to be more generous. Overall, however, the animals looked well cared for.
Regarding AI catering: This is not nearly as bad as it is reflected in numerous reviews.
Taking the price into account, everyone should be aware that you shouldn't expect restaurant quality here, but simple snacks.

There are hot drinks vending machines with a complete (!) Selection at each station - hot water for tea (only black tea is offered), coffee, cappuccino, milk coffee, cocoa etc. - The AI concept also includes a very sweet instant lemonade (red).
Water, cola, iced tea etc. as well as ice can be purchased or brought as an alternative.
The AI catering consists of snacks. There was either pasta with mushroom sauce or bolognese sauce, sandwiches, tomato soup with chicken, vegetable soup, 2 rice dishes, mini spring rolls, fries, hamburgers, fricandels, pancakes with powdered sugar or syrup, various types of slush ice ... a sufficient selection of acceptable quality.
There is no fruit and / salads.

Based on the previous reviews, we brought healthy snacks as well as water and unsweetened fruit tea.

Conclusion: A nice day trip for children. In any case recommendable. Very friendly staff. Gladly again.
Thank you very much for this nice day at Mondo Verde

Mondo Verde was very nice and relaxing, perfect to have a nice day just with the girlfriend or with the family. You pay as an adult 25 and then has almost everything included. Except for a few wells have the need for maintenance, it is a very good value for money ratio where you can not complain

I had gone to this park to see the gardens, but what a disappointment.
Not well maintained, which meant that occasionally there were more weeds as flowers.
Furthermore, a gathered bunch of old amusement park equipment and a zoo.
However, I do not find this so bad.
I found the most scandalous in particular the predator enclosures that were far too small. The animals were clearly stressed, which could be seen by walking back and forth. I also wonder who makes it up to place the bumper car attraction next to the lion enclosures.
The Gaia zoo is much nicer for the animals and visitors

I found it a very nice experience to walk through Mondo Verde. It was also bigger when I first thought. You will encounter many beautiful pieces of nature. Like a forest with beautiful stone statues, a river that you can walk through, the Japanese garden, etc.
The Japanese garden was a favorite of mine, the blossoms were beautiful in spring!

Nice entrance fee, nice gardens, animals look good, nice stays of the animals, good food and included at the entrance, nice for young and old, wheelchair friendly, really a top park for that price

Overall the park is pretty, but as soon as you get to the animal enclosures, the view of this park changes dramatically. You can see enclosures much too small or enclosures without grass ...

The most obvious example in the camel enclosure below:

My view may be wrong, but as a customer, it is how I feel.

Very interesting park, including animals, some attractions and lots of greenery. Beautiful to see. Food and drinks are included in the price. By cons the big problem there is no free water in this package. I find it a bit uncomfortable especially when it is hot (only 2 syrup are offered as a free drink).
It is a beautiful park, but some animals do not seem very happy, without food and water, mixed with others without some pens. Looks like they are a little neglected. After that it's just my personal opinion. I do not know the other side of the set.
Otherwise apart from it's a beautiful park.
(Groupon often offers interesting prices for this park)
Parking: 4euros.

The people who write reviews like "outdated" or "garden (s) neglected" should really go to the ophthalmologist quickly or if glasses already exist, clean them thoroughly. We were there today and couldn't understand all of these (you have to write it) Miese-Peter comments at all! Of course, tastes are different, but people can't! The whole park is beautiful and there is really something for everyone, young and old. The various topics in the gardens (and I'm actually less enthusiastic about something like this) are absolutely interesting and invite you to linger with dozens of seats. Not to forget the wonderfully designed tropical house with all its animals and countless water systems, of which there are more outside, as well as water features and streams. In our opinion, the park is very diverse and the price per adult of 15 euros is fair somewhere. If you count all the animals in the park together, you know that the food / care is absolutely right. Clear recommendation :)

Unfortunately a park of faded glory.

Unfortunately a park of faded glory.

The staff does not know what it is doing. Cashier staff who do not know how the cash register or pinpad works. Closing an entrance when many people arrive under the guise "I have a break". Just to name a few examples.
Subscription holders who also have to join the queue as a result of this, because despite a year of subscription they still have to pay 5euro P / P for the mandatory "all you can eat" concept.

The park itself is beautiful, where people have thought about the layout and themes of the various park sections. The mandatory "all you can eat" concept is unfortunately disappointing. The food is not exactly fresh or fresh, the taste police would probably also have serious doubts about this. Speaking of thematic as well, if people are already putting different eateries in the park, try to adjust the dishes to the theme. Furthermore, it is abundantly clear that there is a lot of overdue maintenance and that priority has been given to the "amusement park" section and the tiger / lion / panther accommodation. The rest of the park is full of dead trees and dead hedges and pruning waste is dumped through the park in verges.

In general, the park makes a neglected impression in which the park management wants to manage an amusement park or zoo rather than the "world famous" world gardens to which it owes its reputation.

The food is jerk. You can't even get a piece of Limburg pie. Everything is out of keeping warm ... Really tasty that cheap heated pasta. Then do a piece of pie or apple pie with coffee or soda for that 5 euros. And not that cheap junk. Just sell something good to eat. Everyone can grab inspiration-free sandwiches with their dirty hands. The park has so much potential but the approach is just cheap and bad.
And the gardens and animals also look bad. Here and there some things that have been refurbished but generally poorly maintained.

Rude attitude of staff towards us when we were collecting the pass for season tickets. We could not find the entry tickets when leaving, but had the receipt for paying (pay when entering and pick up the season ticket card with picture when leaving). They would not give us the season ticket-cards since they needed the entry ticket for validation. Despite me showing the receipt and asked them to search for the registration that we made when paying for season pass when entering the park (name, address etc.) or just look for our pictures that were on the prepared cards they had laying on the table, they did no effort to find a solution so that we could get what we had payed for. They were rude and talking down to me. I asked for the manager and when he arrived the two women staff claimed that I had been shouting at them.
The whole thing just became too stupid, so I told them to shred our season tickets (that they gave us just before the manager arrived). We have no use for them since we are never going back.

Worst kind of customer treatment I have experienced.

The park itself is rather dirty and not much maintenance. However the kids (1 and 3) enjoyed it.

Very nice park. Beautiful alternation between gardens, animals and attractions, making it attractive for a wide audience to come once. Also sufficient choice in terms of catering. Very much enjoyed the park.

In itself a beautiful park where you can have a lot of fun with children. However, the area of the gardens is unfortunately not well maintained. Therefore fun factor high, vividness rather bad.

We went to the Villains in Mondo Verde on Halloween. The park was transformed into a true horror scene with various themes such as dungeon, dollhouse, maze etc ... There were also various illuminated atractions, a fire show and lots of actors. Although it was extremely busy, we had a great time there. Certainly for the teenagers who were with us, it was a real experience.

+ Interesting concept: the mixture of leisure, animal and landscape parks brings variety. There are very beautiful gardens where you can relax and breathe deeply after you have driven your pulse on the wild water course and Co. high. The food stands offer variety and are spread across the park.
- There can be no talk of species-appropriate keeping of the big cats. The animals themselves look well-groomed, but appear almost apathetic in their small enclosures. The gardens didn't make the most neat impression and waiting in line for more than an hour for fries with frikandel is too much of a good thing. You don't see any other staff either, which is why visitors usually don't adhere to any rules. Not to mention the (not implemented) Corona guidelines, which of course is a selective, topical issue. Since the virus also has an influence on the circumstances, I have given the three stars in the hope that in "normal" times the whole thing will look a little different.

There are many special animals to see here. The gardens are beautiful too. There are some attractions for children. There is also plenty of food and drink all inclusive. However, would have to be renovated

Ordered tickets online to go that way the next day. Now 1 day later I still haven't received anything. If you want to call, that ticket office is only open Mon-Fri. Weird for a tourist office ticket office!

What a beautifully set up park !!! Actually hardly any name recognition in my opinion, beautiful design, nice animals and a number of attractions. And all inclusive so you don't have to constantly pull your wallet if you are hungry / thirsty.

Beautiful park with surprising elements, attractions especially for children, animals, plants and theme gardens.
If you want to see everything you have to take 4 to 5 hours before you are around. Here and there the lesser maintenance catches the eye.

Too few rides, which were closed in October and very old. Price too high if you don't have a voucher. All-you-can-eat concept includes cold fries, tomato soup with meatballs (nasty surprise for vegetarians!) Etc. only a lot of garbage from disposable items. Nice area for walking. Just simple playgrounds ... thanks to Covid-19 no queues.

startled by all the overdue maintenance, it gets worse every year !!
we come to these gardens every year and find it very unfortunate that nothing is done to keep the park beautiful, a lot of things need to be replaced and the fountains are also very bad ... I think if there is not something is being done about maintenance, this garden will not last long, and the entrance and parking costs are considerable, very unfortunate to have to report the deterioration every year.it was once a beautifully maintained park, I hope the owner has the means to turn the tide. or come up with creative ideas to get it done. Maybe help from volunteers, to make the park beautiful again.

A very nice park beautiful place, animals and nature, but the all-inclusive food to cry a cold Italian bite, the tomato soup and the pasta Bolognese try a very sweet dirty mess not worth the word food after a bite the garbage in here you do not have any friends and that is a shame really should be better Mondo Verde.

Top park

Typical case of "idea is good, implementation is less". In terms of park, spacious and beautifully laid out. Only the directions are somewhat confusing and unclear to say the least. Makes clear why people would like you to buy a map of the park upon entering. All you can eat idea means that part is on the menu but not available. In itself not a disaster because I do not come to the park for that, but it does look a bit sloppy. In times of Covid-19, park calls with advice to wear a face mask (and is very willing to sell it for 1.50 at the checkout, but after that it is pretty much done with the hygiene measures. In restaurant is still something of walking route but otherwise you quite accidentally come across a dispenser to clean hands but it is often empty. Staff walk and work unprotected. In short: nice to walk through but in my opinion only if you have a nice discount for entrance tickets ....
