Mondo Verde is a very two-sided experience. Some aspects are excellent and most others disappointing. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, but many of the buildings could still use some cleaning. The division into different countries is beautiful and is often used well, but sometimes the shelf is missed. A large part is easily accessible, but much is also hidden behind narrow, uneven paths. Unfortunately I had to skip it, because my grandmother couldn't trust her footwork. A major annoyance was at the cafe-restaurant, where the employee clearly did not feel like helping visitors and was hiding far behind the positions. Unfortunately, the worst was the condition of the animals. Many birds, for example, missed a lot of feathers. I am also pretty sure that I have seen a bird dead in the cage and a turtle dead in its enclosure. Very sorry.

Quite a nice park. You just don't have to go this season. The garden is in hibernation and many attractions are closed for maintenance.

Nice and very nice park to walk through. Several animals present that best have the necessary freedom of movement. The attractions also appeal to children. A nice plus is that the food and drinks are included in the price. No dragging with a backpack ;-)

So I was there at this Halloween event. At first it was okay but when the clowns arrived it was over. Me and my girlfriend were terrified of clowns and as to the CLOWNS AND EMPLOYEES said that they should stop please. And what happened? Nothing! They kept on going. Then we left the park because they did not stop.

Very beautiful, fun and surprising park for young and old. Well maintained and friendly staff. Toilets fresh and clean. Food is good, nothing wrong with that, which is nice that there are several eateries. The animals look well cared for. Beautiful stay. There are many wasps but you have that at this time of year. We will definitely go back. Highly recommend!

Tip: start the route in the Tropenhal and then follow Route. A park to take a nice walk with different themes, lots of birds and a subtropical hall. There is also a water-bobsleigh playground and you can eat and drink almost everything for free. Also suitable for disabled people with wheelchair

Great park right behind the Dutch border. White lion + tiger, children's roller coaster, wild water slide, beautiful landscaped gardens from different countries, bird volcano, tropical house, leopard, camels .............. Slush ice cream and small snacks are included. We used the offer through Groupon Netherlands. There are currently tickets for 18.50 Euro per person. The normal price is 22.50 euros for adults.

A beautiful park. Walked through the park with my 12 year old son and took pictures. Wavy terrain only makes it more beautiful.
The white water course and the boats that slide into the water from a steep slope are great. Rollercoaster is really for the little ones.

Feeding the monkeys is also fun. They just sit on you like you're a tree.

Highly recommended. You can stay there for a whole day without even a moment of boredom. And the great thing is that you can use a lot of food and drink, the entrance is with all-in drinks and food.

It's a very nice park. Big and small liked it very much and it was a lot of fun.

A very beautiful park
In my opinion heavily undervalued. Nice attractions, beautiful gardens, good good free and also good parking for only 4 euros the entire day. Not close by from the Rotterdam region, but still within 2 hours' drive. Also during the walk always close to free food and / or coffee with toilet facilities. Definitely go back there.

Nice place for kids, but there is not lot of animals

Beautiful park, beautifully landscaped, tropical conservatory and bird aviary are worth a visit. Recommended for wheelchair users.
The restaurant is typically Dutch. And is limited to a plate of soup, cheese sandwich and croquette sandwich.

Fantastic zoo / amusement park. For each animal there are facts listed. For the children there are also bumper cars, white water rink, roller coaster, swings and more. Food and drink is included.

Fun for young and old. A beautiful place to explore

What a beautiful park! We spent the day and took amazing pictures of the different gardens, the birds and my child's favourites were the water attractions, feeding the monkeys and talking to the horses. On a hot day we really appreciated the free ice-creams and drinks. Food can be better but all in all, 100% recommended! I was surprised not to see more visitors! Note to everyone visiting: there are enough garbage bins around in the park so please don't throw plastic bags, cups and straws on the ground.

The park is good but there is a package for food and we do not know how to eat because too many people or more food so not only we paid and we did not get but I had not planned anything so we were really hungry ....

I think it's great in mondo verde that it is a pity that because there is avian influenza somewhere in the Netherlands, the birds cannot be admired.

What do you expect? A very nice varied park when I look at the reviews regarding the food? this is pretty good. What more do you expect? It is best to spend a few hours here and highly recommended.

Park was okay, attractions more for small children. Food was very bad except for the fries, the unlimited lemonade was only possible in one place, which was also very annoying.

Beautiful landscaped park. Nice attractions. Very child friendly. The lemurs on the island are also very nice. Free food. Map costs 2 Euro. No or little signage at the park itself. Also no overview boards so you know what you are. I thought that was a loss. Fish food cost 50 cents (good price). Unfortunately, you got very little for it. But it is certainly a park where we come back again.

This was a nice place to visit. It wheelchair friendly. Good to see all the nature animals and the nice scenery. Most of the food is free and included in your ticket except some extra items like soft drinks and ice cream. I would would recommend visiting Mondo Verde.

I have known the park since it was created and I love to watch the change of flora and fauna within the seasons with my annual pass. The gardens and various areas always reveal new sights. - Always recommended for me!

SUPPLEMENTARY 2018: Unfortunately, the cost of the annual ticket per visit and per capita has been added! From now on, each visitor and person has to pay a supplement to the annual ticket at the cash desk of 5 (including children) with the designation "All you can eat"! Means: Roast roll and fries for consumption are included in the 5 , but no sauce or mayo and no drinks (which is also ok, the option would be optional), but this is MANDATORY. I would have recommended a higher price for the purchase of the annual ticket, but not the current "price pimp"! - I see this as a major deterioration, as I often only want to enjoy the park for 1 or 2 hours without eating and this additional payment is mandatory! That's why I'm now reducing from 4 to 2 stars! - A pity!

Very nice park to relax. Suitable for small children

It's perfectly alright. But the all inclusive drinks are only available at two stands in the whole park. In general the topic all inclusive is very confusing. Animals have quite small enclosures, otherwise made quite nice ...

Beautiful park that deserves more exposure. Cheap entrance with unlimited food and drinks. Of course limited in choice, but there is more than enough on offer. Everything you need for a great day. The gardeners who work there are happy to tell you about the flowers and plants .. At least that's my experience .. I heartily recommend this park .. Enormous diversity

In Mondo Verde you really find yourself in a different world where you can relax. Thanks to the animal accommodation attractions there is a versatile offer for young and old. The unlimited food and drink is fairly basic, but certainly not bad.

I write the review today straight from the park. Under no circumstances can I recommend this park for free.
Corona rules are irrelevant here, especially for the guests. Never go there if cleanliness is important to you.
Slush ice cream with open straw stands where everyone can help themselves and touch everything, as well as cutlery, everything is not packed and accessible to everyone. There is no hygiene in the park, nothing is cleaned or put away. Distance rules do not exist there.

I don't know how this park was opened to the public during the pandemic.

Park is open until 6 p.m. and everything is done to have the park empty. However, the rides don't let anyone in at 5:30 p.m.
At the restaurant there is food until 5:30 p.m., but from 5:15 p.m. the restaurants are already closed.
The only cold all-inclusive drink is a very sweet instant drink that cannot quench your thirst.

I read a lot of negative comments, but our visit on July 28 was still very positive! No overcrowding, no long queues at the eateries, unless you mention half an hour long. Maybe there was a little too few staff to keep everything tidy (including toilets could be better) but in general we had a very nice day in this park for young and old. Beautiful surroundings, children enjoyed the animals, clambering, ... We will be back!

This is really an unknown gem of the Netherlands. What a beautiful park this is. The all you can eat is a bit thin, but the environment more than makes up for this.

This park does not get a star from me. The animals are not kept species-appropriate, have partially no water at 27 degrees. Then the toilets are dirty and broken. Then children under 95 cm supposedly can not go with the attractions but some already. So it is not even respected 100 percent. So we never visit the park AGAIN.

Fair price, the entry includes the food, well-kept area, unfortunately almost all attractions were closed due to defects or repair work, sometimes unfortunately for no apparent reason. Nevertheless, you can spend some nice hours here. Beware of the fountain!

Very busy, no one adheres to corona rules. You stand in line for dinner for almost an hour and everyone is panting together. Due to the crowds, two toilet rooms were also closed, as they were along the row where food was also collected. Very useful with children ...

In addition, 1 staff member could no longer cope with the crowds and fled. Swearing, kicking and throwing the crush barrier. This was the last straw for us to go home.

We had a 1h30 drive and we were very disappointed with this very poorly maintained park, few animals, with a 3 year old girl, we don't know how to make an attraction, the so-called "all in" food is terrible .. the person pulls the head all day long. Once, but not twice, I don't recommend.

Nice park. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. We had a fantastic day as the park was not busy. I think the tropical garden is very beautiful I just wondered whether the animals are not bothered by the attractions ??? I don't think it would be nice to hear the sound of bumper cars next to their accommodation all day long we didn't see the attractions in motion but wondered. Always ask yourself if the animals are really happy. They generally look well cared for. We certainly had a very nice, beautiful day in the park.

Nice park for children. We have only been there briefly, because the children do not enjoy the gardens as much as the attractions.

Very nice park, I was shocked by the reviews and therefore did not want to go, but it was definitely worth it! Had a nice day and luckily the second time I was there it was not busy!

We were here on a very hot day on vacation. It wasn t too crowded though, and because of the forest and water, the heat was not a problem either. Since we haven't seen everything, despite the long stay, we will definitely be back soon.
