The service was friendly and the smoothie was very nice, although like many of the comments here the waiting in this instance 20 minutes for 2 smoothies when you are the only ones in the cafe is mind-boggling! Also the first view of the cafe walking down the drive is the rubbish bins . Our family also cafe a lot in the area and the prices are at the top end for the items offered on the menu.

I think this place is not bad. If you wamt to eat healthy well this is the place for you. However in my humble opinion the food is not as great as it looks. Also the place can be crowded at times...
But still they have a good costumer service..

I was really excited to try this place. It looked welcoming and sounded very friendly and community connected.
But the breakfast food was overpriced and underwhelming. The FOH Didn't know what they were doing, and out of two tables at 930 am they had forgot about my partners coffee...
I'm not coming here again. And I wouldn't recommend it until they up their game.

Changed hands again since my review and pleased to say it s a lot better!

Appears to have changed owners which is always a danger. Used to be one of Kingsland s best brunches, but now it s lost it s flavour.

Incredibly disappointed in their communication and organisation. I had booked an event in their upstairs studio to be told one week before that they didn't have a liquor licence for that space. I had been told that they could serve wine & sent the beverage list.
I happed to call them, they did not call me to tell me. No effort was made to come up with a solution until I prompted Julie the owner. Later I personally found out its straight forward to get a special licence for the day. Would never recommend to anyone.

Beautiful little wholefoods cafe in Kingsland. Great service and delicious, real food options that you are unlikely to find anywhere else. It's got a homely vibe and great space to hangout, particularly under the new covered outdoor area. A must visit.

Awesome little venue with sheltered outdoor seating amongst the vines however the food was a disappointment. I was looking forward to checking this place out due to the number of vegan and vegetarian options however they dishes we got lacked in flavour. With the prices of each lunch items ranging from $16-20 you would expect more. Definitely has potential but the food really needs to improve.

This place used to be great but now has a strange atmosphere and is not up to standard. Last visit I ordered the waffle which was bland, soggy & the "seasonal fruit" on top was about 5 blueberries.
The food is not worth the price, the cabinets are now empty and the overall experience is lacking. Such a shame as I used to love this place.

Hollandaise was not good, way too much mustard. Cornbread on the bottom was weirdly sweet. Got the buckwheat waffle as well, which was alright. Coconut mousse was pretty good, but waffle was overall kind of unsatisfying. Only saving grace was the Matcha latte we got.

Lovely little venue tucked away from the street. The menu looked promising, but we were both left disappointed. I ordered the benedict and have to say it was the smallest meal I have ever been served. The vegan hollandaise was great, but the fritters were plain and soggy. Menu said wilted greens, which was wilted spinach apart from the sadly wilted parsly garnish. My wife order scrambled eggs on toast, but got poached eggs next to toast with a sad looking tiny salad. For both meals the eggs were poached perfectly though.

We also ordered a matcha latte and a hot chocalate, which were both YUM, unfortunately we had to wait for them after we had finished our meals, timing definately off.

Apart from portion sizes, and plain food none of the others would have been any reason to mention, just unfortunate it all happened at once....

Mmmmondays ~ gorgeous atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious, healthy and aesthetically-pleasing food. I had the revive bowl which was garnished beautifully like a little bowl of sunshine. It was so filling and satisfying, perfect summer breakie. My mate had a benedict with salmon with the most delectable hollandaise sauce. Really lovely vines and plants adorning this tucked away spot, and the yard is covered like a greenhouse, making it super warm and sunny. Much goodness!

Stumbled upon this spot by complete chance but so glad I did, what a sneaky little gem.
Sumptuous food met sophisticated cocktails as we whiled away the evening in the tranquil outdoor space. Can't wait to go back!

Delicious food, jackfruit tacos were awesome, and smoothies so yummy and seem healthy. Let down by 15 mins wait with 2 young kids, after arriving at time of booking. Asked staff twice, told to wait in a line of people ordering food and coffees with 1 staff on till. All felt a bit chaotic. Just a shame, and hope they sort this (greet and get people seated at least).

Coffees took 30 minutes to arrive and one had a burnt taste. Muffin and banana bread were good but we had finished those before the coffees arrived. They ran out of cups and had to give us takeaways. Seriously understaffed for a Sunday lunchtime. A very disappointing experience at a cafe we had looked forward to visiting.

Had to wait ages for a basic and overpriced smoothie, and when it arrived it wasn't even mixed properly and was warm. Coffee was pretty good and my slice was alright. But overall, would not go back. Ever.

Very tasty dishes but I can't rate more than 2 stars because the main dishes sizes are more like a starter. You need to put more on our plates guys
We wanted to try the chermoula chicken but it was not available so we had the crepes and the salmon. They were both delicious but as I said above the portion are way too small. We had a pizza at domino's when we left...

Great wee cafe. Love that it's focus is wholefoods - found it difficult to choose my food as it all looked so interesting and delicious. They have some of the common brunch dishes but have put their own wholefoods spin on it. Then other food options that look super tasty. Great range of options - meat, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free.
My chai was amazing! Best I've had. Brunch was delish, eggs maybe a little undercooked and rosti a bit overcooked, but they still tasted yum. Service was very friendly and hospitable. Usual price range. Definitely recommend a visit.

The ambience and service is great.
Ordered the waffle and all I can say is this Wow! The coconut cream had a hint if sweetness and lightness to it and complimented the mango and pineapple sauce perfertly. Highly recommended.

It is with great sadness that I review the once-great Mondays whole foods a 2 star. There has been a change of ownership which has more or less abolished the brand, service and things that made Mondays special, and replaced it with sub-par service, long waits, and cultural/religious decorations which feel out of place. I would suggest that the new owners try and understand their customers better, and the niche in the organic/raw market that they are swiftly loosing.

Parking for Monday's is a bit of a mission, but definitely worth it. The food is delicious and the menu is excellent - it is difficult to decide what to have! The setting is gorgeous and if the weather permits, I recommend sitting outside next to the vines.

You can taste the goodness from the first bite. I loved it for brunch on a lasy Friday as they accommodate persons with dietary restrictions. Was able to get my dairy and gluten free on! But... It's a little pricey.

We love this place!
With a new owner taking over this beautiful space we decided to drop in for a coffee and morning tea. We were really impressed.
Lovely service, great selection and fresh, vibrant food.
Awesome job Mondays!

Monday's used to be very good however my last two visits have disappointed me. I was told to go and take a seat so that someone could serve me, I waited for about 10 mins with no contact from a staff member and no water. Eventually, I had to go and order at the till. There were no napkins around and also many tables covered with dirty dishes that hadn't been cleared, and still weren't cleared by the time I got my meal and was ready to leave. I'm not sure what has caused the change, maybe it has changed ownership?
Overall the service was bad and the cafe felt dirty, quite a shame.

Great drinks and food. Bummed I didn t get to have the full menu but I have eaten here before and enjoyed it! I had the lemon curd cheesecake and a ruby latte. Did not feel at all guilty as I know these are healthy thank you for a lovely hot drink in the sun in your glasshouse patio.

Wow what an awesome experience going to Mondays. From the moment I walked into the tranquil garden and outdoor seating area to the friendly service of the staff to the outstanding presentation & taste of the food and lets not forget about the amazing coffee. When I left Mondays I felt like my energy had been renewed, sounds crazy I know but I felt so relaxed and able to take on the challenges that would be facing me for the rest of the day. For some reason I have always been reluctant to write a review and often we are quick to tell people about a bad experience but I wanted to change that and give Mondays a real shout out for what they have managed to capture in not on the venue & atmosphere but in the overall food experience. I will definitely be back, thank you :)

Love this place! Vegan friendly - GF options
Wholefoods, great variety of dishes, many plant based options - but you can also still get it with bacon if that s what you re into so definitely something for everyone! Love the vibe and the fact that they use bamboo straws. Apparently, you can rent out the whole place for a birthday, work function or even wedding reception new favorite place

This place is a real gem. Service was great and so was the food. The waffles were out of this world. When I'm back in Auckland I am definitely coming back. They know about allergies - I'm a coeliac and didn't have any problems.
