My cousin was staying here and he said its a terrible experience and he wouldn t recommend staying here to anyone else ever. Very terrible service by the office, no friendly staff available and they treat students in a very disrespectful matter. Securities are also impolite and they never give space to students. Please make sure you take note about this and other students dont have to suffer the struggle of living her when theyre under 18.
I'm sure there are better options out there, especially with current conditions. Also, they need to ease up on the apartment inspections at SEF. My apartment, and many other residents' apartment have been inspected weekly (sometimes more than once a week) and it's a huge invasion of privacy. With the amount of inspections we receive, they might as well just resume the cleaning services that we are still paying for.
Honestly, look elsewhere unless you're desperate.
MRS have shown their true colours throught the pandemic. Complete lack of transparency, support and regard for residents. Steer clear, find somewhere else to live if your are moving for university.

An abhorrent violation of human rights . Monash residential services constant destruction of residents civil liberties in the name of saving face is embarrassing ! Online I enrolled at MRS for the "more than a room" experience, instead I have been thwarted by a shoebox room and limited to seeing one person a day if that. Constant interrogation by security guards listening through doors perving on my private affairs is not acceptable . All MRS sees in residents is $$$, I do not recommend living at MRS...
Horrid to say the least. Public image is prioritised over resident wellbeing at every opportunity. Especially in 2020 fees have been too steep for the value received. Even as restrictions ease across the state staff within MRS keep residents in stage four equivalent isolation standards to save face. Shame. I would not recommend prospective students apply to live at MRS.
This is meant to be student accommodation, but all this company does is rip off students in good time, downright rob them during a global pandemic, threatening them with eviction and refusing to allow rental reductions. I recommend finding somewhere else to stay that doesn't impose arbitrary rules out of line with public health advice, and doesn't charge a small fortune to be locked inside a box for 6 months.
Half a century old accommodation, such run-down place. Don't bother applying these "Monash" accommodation, just not worth it.
Absolutely no transparency with residents. Refusal to be accommodating despite the impact of covid-19 on residents, both financially and mentally. MRS continually places monetary gain and public image over the well-being of their residents. I also find it interesting that many of the bad reviews I saw only yesterday have suddenly disappeared.

MRS disregards the actual welfare of students, instead prioritising their public image. This has been especially pertinent throughout the COVID-19 lockdown period. Proper student representation is ultimately lacking. I would not recommend MRS due to their lack of transparency with students and do not think it is worth the money overall.
A total lack of transparency with the management and poor treatment of students throughout this years Covid response. MRS have shown their true colours this year, I recommend everyone stays well clear.
Continually refuse to be transparent with residents and, when I made this exact review a few days ago, got it removed from the Google page. Very reminiscent of my entire experience at MRS they act as though they are open to criticism but try to silence student voices at every turn of the corner.
MRS has continually failed throughout the course of 2021 to be transparent with its residents about decisions made that affect hundreds of students already in a tough position as a result of border and business closures. They have also continued to fail in keeping up with the easing of restrictions within Victoria and changes that are made are left to the middle management in Deputy and College Heads to cop the criticism for something MRS is having the only hand in
