My children have been going to Monarch for a littl...

My children have been going to Monarch for a little over a year. They have a set routine and the kids know that they go from one fun filled event to another. Monarch has a cafeteria which I love the fact that the kids have some where to eat. You can tell that the owners really care. They have a cleaning staff cooking staff, office staff, teachers, school aids and even a bus driver. The owners don't except the teachers to do it all. I have been to other centers were the teacher is the cook janitor receptionist bus driver just depends on the day and time you walk in. I have been to other centers also were when you drop your kids off and they are watching movies till the other teachers get in. Well at Monarch if you drop off early like 6:30 am they play pretend in the boat. Now, if its after 6:50 they go to the cafeteria were they play with building blocks etc. till about 7:45. When they go to there classes. matter of fact, the don't watch a movie till after 5:30 Pm. The whole day is about learning. This is more then a day care center its a REAL school. We get report cards meet the teachers open house. They celebrate all holidays like grandparents day etc. You get homework like fun projects to do at home. They even allow my daughter speech therapist to visit with her. I can surly going on all day about Monarch but you would have to go an experience it yourself.

My family has been a Monarch family for the last 9 years. My youngest is about to start Kindergarten. I cannot say enough good about them.

The facility is spotless. The curriculum is top notch. The teachers, owners and staff are incredible. Both my children loved going to Monarch and were very well cared for. They loved all the teachers, many of whom have been there for the entire time we have been. That alone says a lot about the business. The owners are present every day and very involved. It truly has a family feel.

My kids were both MORE than ready for Kindergarten and my daughters teacher even commented to me, that all the kids she has ever had from Monarch are more than prepared.

Without hesitation I recommend Monarch Children's Academy.

The facilities itself is clean and well maintained...

The facilities itself is clean and well maintained, front desk lady was always so sweet and kind to us and our son, but unfortunately they made us disenroll our son after 2 weeks because our son wasn't "up to par" with their curriculum. Their excuse was that he was a distraction to others. Before we enrolled him we had made it clear that our son had mild CP and mild Autism, we were reassured by them that it wouldn't be a problem. His teacher never communicated anything to us unless we continued to ask. Things really need to be worked on like communication between teacher and parent. I also believe the the owner should be more involved then just taking our money. The owner even stated to us that they were the only good school around which is strictly and clearly discriminating towards other schools. Well at the end we found another school. I would really think about enrolling your child there and before u do ask ask and ask and make sure u have everything in writing so they won't have a chance to turn everything around on u.

I absolutely LOVE this place. After moving to this area and researching all my options, I felt this place had the safest facility, it was CLEAN and had up to date toys. (the other place I went to that is quite popular had outdated filthy toys, dolls with one eye, smelt like over sanitized mildew.. and always looked un clean and cluttered. I took my child out of that place as one of their staff members was screaming at wild children and was unable to be in control of the class when I walked up to the room. I feel Monarch's prices are reasonable, they offer more, include lunches and snacks and their teachers are very friendly and caring, and involved. I am so happy to give Monarch's a great review, as I went to the other place prior based on such wonderful internet reviews to find that they email all the parents and give them discounts on tuition if they give them a review they can use. I am so happy we found Monarch's and switched. I couldn't be happier with their staff, and the lady at the front is always so helpful. THANK YOU!!!

No doubt the facility is clean and I enrolled my t...

No doubt the facility is clean and I enrolled my two kids after getting good recommendations from atleast 3 friends (whose kids have been going to Monarch for sometime). Given below are the three incidences that left a bad taste in my mouth:
(1) My elder daughter went on a field trip (summer program) to Science Center with the school. In the morning some child from the group poked a plastic stick (by mistake) in her eye and she got cornea abrasion. Yet, nobody from the school called me and informed me. I went to school in the evening (around 4pm) to pick her up and that's when I learnt about it. Her eye was hurting bad and watering too....I rushed her to urgent care center in Waterford lakes. I'm disappointed that during the field trip there were 4 grown up teachers but nobody cared to inform me. I'm disappointed the way they handle accidents and reports them.
(2) My little daughter is getting sick too much in the daycare. I had enrolled my 1 and 1/2 yr old child in day care in August and just in 3 months she has gotten hand-foot-mouth disease to pharangyitis (sore throat) to numerous viral fevers/infection. It concerns me that how much time I have spent in pediatrician's office/urgent care/emergency room.
(3) I wish they would better display their late fees guidelines clearly on the School bulletin board. They just charged me $25 to $50 late fee for not paying fee on time. My child was sick whole week and there is no way I will take sick child to School to make payment. $50 will not make me poor but I think it is a cheap stunt to extort money from parents.

The place is clean but not the place I would highly recommend . Service and care is somewhat questionable. My niece was there for only less than a week. According to her parents , 2 out of 3 days the kid was sent home with a pair of undies that are soaked with urine. My niece is still being toilet trained and still on pull-ups. How is she gonna be soaked in urine if the staff takes her to potty or would change her diaper on time . No communication/ or feedbacks for the parents on how the kid was in daycare that day.
