My dream is to join this institute as soon as I get my HSC 2018 results for perusing degree in bsc animation film making.
Can't wait to get the best education from the best film institutes in the world

The film city is just fab...the infrastructure and everything is beautiful

Awsum place to be in if your a film, media & fashion enthusiast. The infrastructure is so amazing that it gives you positive energy.....and makes you think about films for the whole day. Built inside the heartland of Films in film city this institute gives easy access to all the films made around the city.

Animation course is fascinating and the faculty there is really encouraging.

Good film school with a very nice campus, a cost are high.

Nice place to learn how movies are made and their history. Exotic food which makes day memorable. Classes are available where students can learn and work in movie industry.

The courses offered are amazing. Their campus is amazing, full of greenery and peace. Visited them during their fest Celebrate Cinema, they have amazing infrastructure.

WWI is One of the prestigious institute of Film Making in the world. This institute is owned by famous bollywood film director Mr. Subhash Ghai. The institute is equipped with all modern filmmaking equipments and technologies. Beside Modern High-tech classrooms this institute has its own Dolby Digital film theatre, Dolby Audio Studios with most sophisticated Audio console and recording system, Sony media Lab, Foxcon Lab, VR Lab, and many more.
Beside departments like Animation, Film making, fashion designing and Acting this institute have its own VR filmmaking course. The alumni of this institute are now are parts of the some of the bollywood hits cast and crew.

If you have ample money to waste and get a degree just for the sake of gettget a degree, well this is definitely the place for you. The quality of education isn't up to the mark and the Placement isn't that good at all. Students literally have to find a good job on their own after the course. Filmmaking is the core course here. Else PGD is just a side course with no real content.

Have been to YouTube space inside whistling woods and so far its all better architecture,security and placement wise. Overall 4 stars for the school for looking so awesome

The campus is situated in Filmcity, Goregaon and is majestic. Spread over acres of land the place invites film and media enthusiasts from all over. The infrastructure is so amazing that it gives you positive energy. The institute was started by Bollywood director Subhash Ghai. This institute gives easy access to all the films made around the city. Has great teachers and mentors, also famous directors share their experiences and help students learn. Being a Goregaonkar since birth everyone expected me to have visited the Filmcity and see stars now and then but the truth is I've never been there, but it always feels homely.

No placements. Money making scheme. Once the initial deposit is made next to impossible to get out. Worst decision ever. Don't fall for the false marketing and names given by them. Close to 70-80 percent students are job less.

Initiatives by the WWI like celebrate cinema and 5th Veda are exciting and empowering.

Probably the best college for studying about Films where you can learn camera handling where you can become Director, Producer, Sound designer

The celebrate cinema initiative by WWI was fantastic

I ve done Diploma in Filmmaking from New York Film Academy Sydney Campus, Australia. I didn t get much exposure there. Currently studying in WWI and it s way better from NYFA Sydney campus.
I love the faculty here, they are really cooperative and have a brilliant knowledge about filmmaking and industry.
And the campus, it s just woww, I must say, this is my second home. This place belongs to me. I m definitely learning a lot and getting wide range of knowledge.
There are many activities happening here every year like Inbox, Cilect, WWCL, Prom Night, celebrate Cinema and almost all the festivals are celebrated here.
The best part, we have masterclasses of big names in industries like Aamir khan, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri dixit, Hritik roshan, Sanjay leela Bhansali, Raj Kumar Hirani and many more personalities.

Overall this is the best place to lean Filmmaking, acting, fashion, mass and communication, VFX, Animation, Music and lot of things.

Good Media college in Mumbai, fantastic facilitates, good faculties.

The flim making is not only art but it's a passion too considering that Mr.Subhash thai has opened in goregaon flim city.
Where every detailed aspect of flim making has been taught to students.
When finished course they turn out to be accomplished in there chosen streams.
On personal note great place to learn art n science of film making.

Good place. Fees structure is bit higher than other institutes

The best part of this campus is that it's located in the midst of the lush green Sanjay Gandhi national park at Film city. The house keeping and the security staff is really good at doing their job. The canteen and other small food outlets within the campus could definitely improve their menu and give better and tastier food options.
Even though the institute makes so much money, the road that leads to gate 1 is rough with two long dugout parts stretching wide across the street, its been more than 4 months that nothing has been done about it.
The men's washroom (for students especially) is almost always out of tissue papers, hand dryers mostly don't exist here and you'd be lucky if you found some liquid hand-wash soap. The road inside the campus on the entire periphery could also be improved.

Very expensive, not even single placement record posted on whistling woods website. Rip off, be careful.

The institute not upto the mark comparing to the fees being charged. No campus placement or any assistance in this regard specially for ANIMATION. The infrastructure is below par. If thinking to study think twice/thrice and many more times or else would repent.

#CelebrateCinema attracted me to FilmCity-Goregaon , Mumbai like a bee to the honey-pot. At Whistling Woods ( Film-City ) there were all kind of bees to gather modern / high-tech, albeit sweet nectar from the numerous Media / Cinema / Art related workshops , on 17th and 18th May.

First and Foremost , I must thank Whistling Woods , for magnetising me to the gigantic FilmCity with #CelebrateCinema . I am a Goregaonkar since birth so everybody expected me to be a regular at World-famous FilmCity. But the biggest irony is that , I had never visited the FilmCity , till date , till Whistling Woods organised CelebrateCinema with such hi-fi events , panel discussion , master classes for different streams.

The Advertising workshop conducted by noted AdFilm Director Vishnu Sir , enabled us 3 batches ( 5 students each ) to make a full-bodied ( BrandName , StoryBoard , Casting , Location , shooting , editing , music etc. within the Whistling woods campus ) TV Commercial within 4 hours. We not only made a TVcommercial but lots of friends within that time-span of conceptualising and producing the ad. Hat's off to Vishnu Sir for making this workshop so interactive / Enjoyable and creditable.

CelebrateCinema had various brainstorming Panel Discussions ( New voice in Indian Cinema , Socially responsible film making , Cinema 20-20 , Women in Cinema ) ,Workshops ( Chhota Bheem with kids , Screen writing , Dance , Stop motion Film making , VFX , Acting for Screen , Film Editing , Music , Steel Photography , Fashion Styling , MakeUp etc ) , One-on-One discussions with Celebrities , Film-Screenings as well as activity kiosks like ClapsNSlams , which attracted large numbers of FilmiFans.

The 2 high-powered days of CelebrateCinema reached it's zenith when Amole Gupte's Hawa Hawaai gang did a candid , free for all Q & A session with audiance. The special screening of Hawa Hawaai received so many Whistles for Amole's direction and Gochi's dialogues that Whistling Woods came alive in the dark , dead night.

Visited Whistling Woods International for many workshops and seminars on digital media. Very nice institution for media students. Founded by renowned film director Subhash Ghai. Infrastructure, faculties, student facilities, open green space around and auditorium everything is really nice. The only negative is that since it is located in the interiors of film city travelling can be a problem for those who visit on a regular basis. Also it is difficult to get mobile network coverage in this area.

The best things are its campus and guest speakers, but the final students work in unimpressive. That's not good for the exorbitant fees they charge.

As a former student. It is a big Waste of money for a film school. Which is mostly about good taste in cinema. (Many of the teachers lack that and hate you for that, like students are their competition.) And for the art school it is more like elementary school from stupid dress codes to free thinking.

Awesome location.. Seems to feel among nature... Though my daughter is studying here, would like to study again if I would hv been given admission.... The best institute of India regarding film n media study
