We hosted my sister's bachelorette party here in August 2018 and it was a fabulous time! George and everyone who worked at Mojo Spa was incredibly kind and helpful and made sure we were all well taken care of. I cannot speak highly enough of Mojo Spa and thank them for helping us put on such a nice party for my sister! I will definitely be coming back for body products and nail services, too!
This was a location for a bachelorette party. The owner George was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. We had the spa to ourselves and the staff made sure we had everything we needed as the party went on. The services were well-done and efficient, but no one rushed us out the door. The spa is clean and well-decorated, so there was little we needed to do in terms of set-up. Would highly recommend for an event!
Mojo Spa was a wonderful part of my bachelorette party! We were able to lounge on the couches, bring in our own snacks and drinks, and we had the whole spa area to ourselves! Would definitely recommend for any group of ladies looking for a relaxing social outing.
Met Amanda's dad ten years ago when he sold us MIDADS touch. we have loved this product ever since. Our family has used many products from Mojo's and have had compliments regarding our skin. We always say its because of the the products we have purchased from Mojo's.
All the stars for this place - George is knowledgeable and super friendly and makes sure you're taken care of. I especially love the spa services here. They have very reasonable pricing for nail art. Only thing that could be better would be online scheduling for spa services.
The space is really cute. I understand their products are where they started, but I came in for a no chip manicure and I they urged me to try on a foundation. The no-chip manicure was ok. The manicure took way too long (1.5 hours). I expected something more for $40. I really want to like this place, but I was slightly disappointed.
LOVE love LOVE this place. Friendliest workers/owner.. They always make sure you're getting the right product for you! Their products are totally game changers- swear by bombshell faces pap and doll face lotion.

Would highly recommend mojo spa!! Very affordable and accommodating! We could bring in whatever food/drinks we wanted and the place was so nicely decorated! It's a wonderful/relaxing spa experience without the outrageous price tag! George also provided us with free services for the bride and MOH which was so incredibly generous of him!!! And the services are reasonably priced! Really wonderful experience!!!

This has been my go-to spot for skin care products for years. Since moving out of Wicker Park, I still order and use their products daily! Nothing compares. Every ingredient is natural and has a purpose. A few faves... Bombshell Clarifying Facial Mask- lifts up dirt/blackheads like magic, and leaves skin incredibly soft and perfectly moisturized. Ambrosia cleansing cream & make-up remover- use it every night, takes away the daily dirt/make-up without drying out or leaving any residue behind, simply clean. High Society facial toner- kept in my yoga bag, a seriously refreshing mist and pick-me-up. Illuminata face lotion/herbal make-up- this has been my daily face lotion for years and has kept a balanced and even skin tone, so much so, I honestly wear it by itself without concealer or powder at times. I can't say enough good things about their products. There is something for every skin type, every personality. And if that's not enough of a draw, the store is so fun to be in!- whether it be a quick trip for some me-time, or a girls brunch/night out I have always left feeling up-lifted.

mojo spa is a very special place. the cosmetics are formulated with care by the owner and contain herbal ingredients that are extremely good for the long-term care of your skin. i have been using these products for about 10 years, and when i fall prey to gimmicky, cheap products from other places, it always proves that the investment at mojo spa is worth it for both health of my skin and the glowing, perfect look that i get. i have used several skin products and cosmetics, including the go green line, illuminate, the eyeshadows and lipsticks. absolutely my favorite beauty products of all time.
one of the employee s was extremely overbearing and would not stop following me around when i visit. i would ask maybe 1-2 questions regarding products and he would lower his mask to speak to me or get closer than the 6ft distance and i would constantly have to back away or just try to end the conversation short because of how unsafe and uncomfortable that all was. very disappointing as its a beautiful store with many products i would love to come back to purchase more of.
I bought the beard oil for my husband but started using it in my hair. It smells great and is THE ONLY thing that has helped my hair from tangling. My hair tends to knot very easily and is very painful to brush, but since I've been using it, it has not tangled and has not been frizzy. It's also incredibly inexpensive as you only need a few drops. I've also purchased lip gloss and soap at Mojo and those products are amazing as well. I like that the products are hand made and cruelty free.
I decided to host a bachelorette party at MoJo, and I could not have made a better choice! The party at MoJo was absolutely perfect! I really appreciated being able to set up the night before the party, and the communication/customer service throughout the planning process was fantastic.
All of the girls loved the fun vibe of the spa, and were really impressed by the quality of all of the services. Every nail professional that we had did a fantastic job, and all of the girls got really unique and personalized styles.
The music and atmosphere were perfect for our bachelorette party! The girls also loved being able to shop around during the party, and I have only heard positive feedback about the products that they purchased/tried.
I could not be any more complimentary of MoJo spa and the staff!! I will definitely be back, and I think that several of the guests will, too!
I wish there were more than 5 stars to award! These products are amazing. I ve used the ambrosia and high society lines with face scrubs for over 7 years. I wouldn t consider using anything else. This is the only product I ve found that keeps my normaly extremely dry skin looking great. I love love love Mojo spa!
As an African American I can say its hard to find face washes that actually cleans and helps breakouts due to the oiliness of my skin. This stuff works great and have been using it for over a year. Before this best thing that helped me was alcohol which is terrible for your skin. The people here are very helpful and can guide you to the right products if you tell them what you're looking for or the type of skin you have.
We came to Mojo Spa for my friend's bachelorette party and had an absolute blast! George and his staff went above and beyond for us. We brought in our own food and drinks and they let us play whatever we wanted on their speakers. There were about 10 of us and everyone was able to get a service or two. In between nail services, they gave us face masks and make overs! This was the perfect place for a party-I will definitely be back!

So I never really do this but I wanted to say thank you all so much because of your products specifically bombshell I can actually see and feel comfortable in my skin again. I never had skin issues and the maskne got real for me and real severe quick. I tried everything. Even Pharrell Williams new skin care line and I casually ordered Christmas gifts this year from y all and I was like ima just wing it and wow. I can t believe the results. It s even correcting my scarring from picking. All I can say is PLEASE never change what you re doing. So many companies change up or go cheaper and it sucks. So keep up all these great things. They really work and whoever is behind this must truly care. Thank you. A 5 year ago discovery turned into a permanent stay. Great products.
The "Ultimate Detox Facial Powder" is my absolute favorite Mojo product (hard to chose just one)! It's literally magic. NOTHING, and I repeat nothing, has significantly helped the acne I've had since high school. Every single time I use the Detox Powder, my acne is cleared up within 1 minute it s truly amazing. I love the tingling sensation I can actually feel the product working to get the dead skin cells off my face and clean out my pores. I would compare it to getting a facial (only WAY way WAY way cheaper). It leaves my face clean and clear which allows for makeup to be applied smoother. It s the best!
I had my bachelorette party at Mojo after attending one there and having a blast. George is an excellent host and all the ladies who do manis/pedis are super sweet. George is very accommodating. The place is very bright and cheery. There are no fumes like most nail salons. It's fun to walk around the shop as well...so many great products to buy. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Mojo Spa is amazing. Their products and service is outstanding. Each time I go in, I am greeted and everyone is super helpful and friendly. I have been using their products for about 4 months now and have definitely noticed a difference. I am in the process of switching over all of my skincare products to MoJos. My favorites (at the moment) are the Ambrosia serum, Ambrosia face soap (bar) and the shaving bar soap. Also - for fun, I am loving the Day Glow Tinted Lip Color.
Have been to Chicago two times and using Mojo Spa products, like body soap,m (pie soap, sugar plum pie) and found just awesome full of fragrance, lot of innovative varieties, very good in look but a bit higher on price but its products are worth in use many of which are homemade. Mojo Spa is by far the best shop for handmade beauty and bath products I've ever been to. As soon as my sister and I walked in, we were greeted immediately by one of the owners, George. He introduced us to some of the products as well as staff to help us try out a few different products, like make-up and hair creams.
The variety of products amazed me; From women's shaving care to home fresheners, I felt like I was in heaven. I grabbed as much as I could -- Body lotion (pumpkin spice one), soaps (chai spice cupcake, coconut and strawberry donuts, macaroons, shaving), after-shave oil for women, make-up (Twinkle foundation), lip treatment (ambrosia), face and body scrub (lemon lust -- my favorite!!), deodorant, skin care kit for men and beard oil, and foot cream. I recommend all of these products, especially the foodie soaps. They make great gifts and look super cute and smell amazing. Then the scrub I got works really well for exfoliating, especially on the feet for dead skin. Also, since I bought so many products, George shipped some for free to me (which I got within two days after he shipped them!), and he also stuffed a bunch of samples in there!!!
We made an appointment for later that week for manicures and pedicures and the experience only got better. Lauren did a great job and she's extremely fun to talk to while getting your nails done. I also like the different packages of manicure and pedicure services they provide, meaning you can choose which package of products to use on your feet and/or hands based on what you need (sore muscles, dead skin, etc.). It was an unforgettable experience and I will definitely be going back for a mani and pedi next time I am in town.
My experience overall was stellar and I recommend this place to everyone, especially if you appreciate local businesses and handmade products with natural ingredients. My family, friends, and I will definitely be taking advantage of the online store :)
Mojo is a wonderful and welcoming place that has been perfect for the multiple parties I have had the pleasure of hosting with them. Their staff is wonderful and incredibly attentive to the needs of those attending the party. Their spa is beautifully decorated, they have great music, and are all around warm and welcoming. I highly recommend them. If you book with them, you won't be disappointed!
I loved everything here! My bridesmaids and I booked mani/pedis and brunch package. The atmosphere and decor create the perfect ambience for a fun day.The brunch was pancakes and mimosas, DELICIOUS. We also got to try their makeup which brightens your face, evens your tone and feels weightless. The mani/pedi was heavenly and lasted 3 weeks! The staff was warm, friendly, professional, fun and accomodating. The owner George was amazing. He took the time to talk with all of us all throughout our visit, making sure we were all comfortable, even a friend who didn't partake of the services but was just hanging out with us. When one of the ladies wanted to change something with her service, even though she was aware of the package deal, George went above and beyond to try and appease her. This really is the BEST place. I can't say enough good things about it.

I recently organized a work team building event at Mojo Spa. The space was perfect for a group. There's a great area with couches for everyone to hangout while they're waiting for their services and you can bring in your own food and drink. George and the whole team were very accommodating throughout the planning process and the event went off without a hitch! It's clear that the Mojo Spa team knows how to coordinate events and make them fun for everyone. We especially loved the complimentary facials and make-up touches! Thanks again for a great experience!
I was very pleased when I bought it as a souvenir! Recommended for women. There was no place to park the car and I had a hard time.
Aside from the great products which are all natural, the owner and staff are really nice and helpful.
I stumbled once into Mojo Spa about a year or two ago and have done so every now and then with excitement each time. One of my visits I purchased the High Society face soap and it has in the last year become a necessity in our home. Its formula is perfect for my skin, gentle but obviously cleansing and the pore minimizing really helps with blemishes and oil control. I will not be switching facial cleanser anytime soon!
Best spot in town for your all-natural makeup, skincare, body care, soaps etc. They have it all and it s safe and effective. Mani/Pedi experience is also top notch. Even down to their customer service, George knows all, literally all and rest of staff is super knowledgeable and very customer friendly. This is a must stop for men and women!! And last thought, great for gifts. Love it there!
I was in there the other night with my boyfriend and all the staff was SUPER friendly and helpful!! The manager/owner was the best! Again, very friendly and outgoing staff! LOVE THIS STORE.
All natural & effective!!! My bf and I use the Ambrosia night eye balm every night and the Go Green morning eye cream every morning. We're at obsessed! Works for puffy eyes, and brightens the under eye area! We also both use the men's Buddha after shave cream! He uses it for, well, his face after he shaves and, get this... I use it every day as deodorant. It's not marketed as that but I used it one day on my under arms after I shaved them and I just loved the fresh, clean smell it had and it lasted all day. Now it's not going to power through a heavy duty workout and keep working all day but its a great option for a low/no-sweat day. Good news is, I also use their actual deodorant: Don't Sweat it! And it smells amazing! Since it's actually created to serve as a deodorant, this does hold up all day and through a sweaty workout! It's all natural! No cancerous aluminum. Love it!!!
Popped in out of curiousity and was pleasantly surprised at the selection. Staff was eager to assist and is knowledgable in each product. Walked out with the High Society mask and love it so so much!
