MOHEGAN SUN RESORT & CASINO Review

One of the best places to see a show with plenty of free parking. Not a bad seat in the place

Cool casino. The hotel reservation Dept is all screwed up though.

Big. Modern. I am not a gambler. Lots of eye candy. We were a bit confused on finding parking. But once we found it there were ample spaces.

Great atmosphere and restaurant choices. Plenty of slots & tables to choose from. Not too into shopping, but there's options for that, too.

love it. Buffett a bit pricey. I notice people hitting on a few machines.

I've always loved this chandeliers at the Earth and sky entrance at Mohegan. I had a good time.

I've been to three events here now and all were very well run. The staff could not be friendlier and are always helpful. For being in such a big crowd, there is a good flow and you never get stuck in lines or jams. There's always a great line up of events too! Bonus that it is right near all of the great restaurants at the casino for before/ after show dinner and drinks!

The rooms are kept very clean and the wifi is very fast. Many restaurants and a shopping mall are in driving distance. The food is amazing and there are plenty of shops. Theres an arcade and indoor playground for the kids as well as thousands of slot machines for the adults. I fully recommend to anyone looking for a quick getaway.

Great getaway, like an underground city. Beautiful artwork, architecture, everyone that works there is friendly and helpful, suites are quiet, spacious and well worth the money. The gaming is fun. Restaurants are pricey but the all you can eat buffet is worth the money. Great place to escape to.

Had a terrific time. Went to see my first Womens Pro Basketball game. Connecticut Sun won. Mohegan Sun has changed a lot. Really beautiful place to relax

Great experience. One of my favorite casinos in the world. Almost any kind of action you want, great restaurants, world class shows and experiences - this weekend is weekend-long Barrett-Jackson classic car auction. Definitely worth the trip if you're anywhere near CT.

This is the most famous casino resort in Connecticut state. There are 3 casinos in total based on different themes. There are good number of restaurants and shops. Has ample parking space. There are good number of slot machines.

Not as big as Foxwoods, but my usual go to for casinos. There's plenty to do, often good shows, and the clubs are well attended. Restaurant choice is pretty good (though the Bobby Flay burger place was a letdown). Make sure to dress for the occasion if you want to get into bars/clubs.

We attended the Barrett Jackson car show. It was amazing. Event staff and regular Mohegan staff are always more than helpful and super pleasant.

Overall the casino resort is good but not great. I visited for a work trip so I was able to experience the event halls, hotel rooms, and food / casino entertainment.

The rooms are large and nice but AC shuts off when you leave for a certain amount of time.

The reason I removed stars was for two reasons. My room had no view and was fully blocked by the room, see photo. The second star was removed since the event hall didn't have appropriate sound proofing and / or event layouts. The event I attended was drowned out by the guitar and drums next door for 2-3 hours.

I dont go much . Way tooooooo much smoke smell from smokers !!!

Amazing!!! Super clean if you want to play this is the best place.

But if you to enjoy a good buffet, I recommend Seasons Restaurant is delicious and very well organized. They have a menu for everybody

The Mohegan Sun is a very nice place. It is a large place with a big variety of food venues and a large selection of machines to play. Every one was very nice. I will go back.

There's not enough waitresses or waiters for drinks when gambling.

Lots to do here besides just gambling. Tons of shopping and places to eat. Concerts here are the best; not only in the arena but the free Wolf Den shows are fun to watch. Kids can play at Kid Quest. Hotel is beautiful and accommodating. Amazing views from most rooms, too! Love visiting Mohegan.

The view is spectacular! The room is clean. Our room is very modern no moldy smell. The lobby smells clean, not like other casinos you walk in and it reeks of cigarettes smokes. Decor still looks modern after all these years. I love that the toilet is in a seperate room off the washroom. This is definitely a 5 star hotel.

Had a blast celebrating my son's 21st birthday! Drink service in the casino was slower than normal

Great venue for music. Very personal small town auditorium feel. Never been for the gaming; not the type to give my money away. Warning! Stay away from the all-you-can-eat buffet. Expensive and disgusting quality for a serious foodie. If you are into gaming, Good Luck! I pray you break the bank. Amen.

Not what I expected stay away from slot machines better iff at the card table.it was hard to get help maybe it because of covid situation .hopefully it will get better.

Wow what a great concert .blake shelton really nice hotel upgraded room to a aspire . privet elevator. Dining area and bar plus your own butler..

Went here for a quick getaway with my Sis.. had a blast.. they are open despite the pandemic and social distancing . I felt so safe in the casinos. I saw the cleaners going around making sure the slots and tables were sanitized and as u walked in the casino your temperature is taken. I actually saw someone turned away because of a high temperature.. no covid in there establishment.. being careful and getting back to some type of normal is what they are trying to accomplish.. Loved this place

Concert Venue was awesome, some dumb rules like 1 beer per person but whatever. The casino is full of cigarette smoke like most casinos, it's disgusting and makes no sense given the decline in smoking these days.

Eleven yrs staying at Foxwoods using perks at least twice, up to three times yearly. I tried to make reservations at Foxwoods and was unable to get a couple nights . Only been to Mohegan Sun the last three years for day visits and was able to get two nights for my birthday!!!!!
I come down to play and eat !!!! And I do both the entire time I am there !
Mohegan Sun is soooooo fun, and really dressed up with classy hotel to casino decor! The staff was exceptionally friendly and the hotel room was about the same as their across the town Foxwoods. The exception is I have witnessed people seem to bring children to Foxwoods , and the children are alone and noisy in rooms and hotel's corridors!
I think that Mohegan Sun made my birthday a special occasion, since for the three days I slide my card it wished me happy birthday ! I played steady all the days and look forward to coming back in the Spring.
I will try to get a hotel room first now to Mohegan Sun before I will consider the other facility.

I enjoy the atmosphere and just roaming around there. The stores are nice to shop around at. The hotels are nice work a pool that is fun and open pretty late.

I loved Mohegan Sun. I went to see Kesha for her New Years Eve concert. It was amazing. The place is clean and amazing and absolutely beautiful. There's so much to do and to see. I loved it. The sushi was great too!

Mohegan sun is tons of fun. Last time we went we got a jackpot!!! Hunting and fishing expo was a blast. And dont forget to catch one of the free concerts. The buffet was an average buffet and the line moves quickly. Very crowded but its a casino so you kind of should expect a crowd. Theres so many places to shop and eat and look at. You should definately go.

This was a very nice place with plenty to do. I didn't get a chance to stay long because none of the slot machines were hitting anything at all. I didn't get a chance to see everything because it's such a big place but what I did see was really clean and the staff was always helpful.

Amazing visuals. And so much going on! There was almost TOO much to do, especially in a short visit. It was completely enjoyable though. I'm certain that there were tons of things we missed. I'm glad that we not only checked it off of our living bucket list but did not find it unenjoyable!

Always a great place to eat, play, dance, shop and catch a live show. Never a disappointment.

Great shows, great food, good gaming. This place has pretty much everything you need for a good night out. Nightlife is good, and there is always something going on there.

Did not stay overnight, went to gamble. Was there for 8 hours or more and I did not see one drink person what so ever. The machines we're not paying out. Did not matter what you played, It was me and My Husband and a lot of other people complaining about it. Your money didn't go far. You could not enjoy yourself due to losing Everytime you tried playing something in a matter of minutes.

Went to a concert here and there is so much to do. There is free valet, gambling,food and fun. Loved it!

During this pandemic everyone is wearing a mask people people keeping a distance and everyone working together

Great place for dinning and shows. Slots machines need to be updated so you can order drinks while you play.

We played black jack and did some shopping. We had fresh made krispy kreme. It was a fun night.

Mohegan Sun Casino is such a beautiful designed casino..I am still in awe about the beautiful colors and textures in the building..so much to see ..the stores and rest. are wonderful from fancy to casual. Had delicious pizza at Frank Pepes and great burgers at Johnny Rockets that is open late. Staying at the Earth Tower is highly recommended..Such a wonderful place to relax and unwind as well. a nice little lounge area of its own to sit by the fire and have a glass of wine or coffee at Bean and Vino..you won't be disappointed at all...

Mohegan Sun is fantastic. Everything from the various casino floors/games; to the great shows and unbelievable food. Always a great time!

We spent our 'mini moon' at Mohegan and had an incredible experience. The room was very clean, comfortable and we were taken back by all of the amenities. They even delivered a cake to us with their well wishes. We dined at three different restaurants, shopped and enjoyed the pool and sundeck. Were already planning our next trip back; it truly feels like youre somewhere special.

Beautiful Casino, very clean. Went to see stand-up comedy and the food and venue we're both great. Arcade left much to be desired however.
