As of 04/15/2019 i no longer work for Mogas Industries after a year and a mouth i was let go for no reason at all by tyler bell,and john martinez.I am a great working got alone well with everyone i had the highest percentage in the Lapping department never late worked every weeked and i did my job well.Now starting out at mogas i was told this was a temp to hire so i took this position knowing that i was leaving a permanent position that i all ready had with another company i was told by tyler and darrell that in 4mo's i would be hired on i think not then was told 6mo's nope so now in the 9th and 10th mo's i see new guys come in and be there for 4mo's or less get hired on but they were not black and they did not work in the Lap dept every mexican that came in the door was hired on and 1 filipino but he knew someone . It seems to me they are not hiring any ('BLACK PEOPLE') in lap for that matter at all so i ask tyler about what are they doing about hiring and he would say that he is waiting on john martinez and when i ask john he would say he is waiting on matt mogas so a mo or so go by now john and tyler ,and joe Couture. are saying it has to be an open position to get hired on well i went to an open spot when billy left and went to coding i took his spot so that means it was open and i still got the run around but tyler friend john in ASSEMBLY got 2 U A'S URINALYSIS and failed them both an got caught stealing someones headphones and he is still there but he is mexican RACISM is the key in this. We had a black guy go to coding that they took from lap because they had fired another black guy so it was a position open so they tell jay come to coding and we will hire you on i think not he is still a temp this is not right its a shame that matt and louis mogas does not know what is going on in the shop. Mogas is a great place to work but its the people that make it bad its 2019 and RACISM still exists at all and in the work place this is crazy how you just fire someone with no REBUTTAL no nothing i have never gotten a verbal about my attendance nor my work ethic all i got from tyler you are doing a great job you have nothing to worry about your job is safe and john even told me he was hearing great news about me doing a great job and even martin in the tool cage told them BIG mike is the man and at best running the Machines for the RSVP'S so if im doing doing so good and great why would i get let go
I have to delete my post because my post was not technically about mogas being racist, it's about segregation which I guess in some form that is a form of racism but that's not what I meant. People are posting about it being about African Americans, when it's about segregation of the departments. Mogas isn't just not hiring African Americans. This company is full of all ethnic groups, from white, African Americans, hispanics, Asian, ect. What has happened since John Martinez got hired on is he is wanting Hispanics. If 12 people apply 3 of each ethnic group the Hispanic guys or girls will get hired first. My post was not to say mogas is racsist it was to point out how John Martinez favors Hispanic people over anyone else and thats obvious. Mogas was a great company before he arrived there, now it's turned into a racial war. The segregation is what needs to stop at this company, choosing pretty much only Hispanic people over everyone else is bad but it's not mogas doing that, it's John Martinez. He needs to fired, he brought this apon the company and has caused this to happen. No department should just be one ethnic group, we are all equal people in this world and to choose only your ethnic group to hire is getting this company in trouble. I loved working for this company but the segregation has to stop. Let's not point our fingers at it only being a one race that is not hired it's one person choosing one race to hire which is John Martinez choosing Hispanics over anyone else. I actually feel bad mogas has to deal with this because one man chooses to favor his own people but that's what it is. We all know mogas isn't racist, there are African Americans that have been there a long long time, white people a long time, Asian people a long time and Hispanic people a long time so no it's not racism, it's favoritism and is only John Martinez that is causing that.
