They seem like good people at certain times but then after awhile they do something stupid and mess up their reputation. Im not a fan of these other stars signed with Modest but I am a huge fan of One Direction and I can say for a fact that they havent been treating them well and the boys dont get to do what they want. In my opinion, Modest only sees One Direction as money bags and nothing else.

This company is making me very P.O'd. The One Direction boys don't freaking need to be controlled like puppets. They are all their own functioning person who is fully capable of making decisions by themselves. Something that has gotten very irritating is how interviewers can't ask "certain questions" . They should be able to ask them what they want, and 1D should be able to reply to the question if they feel the need to. The management doesn't need to tell the boys what they can or cannot tweet on twitter. They should be able to have lives where they can speak freely without some other adults telling them what to say. They are not children anymore.
Something I would love to mention is the fact that Zayn worked hard and spent time writing some songs for the album, yet they won't be on it because it "doesn't sound like something they would sing". That is bull crap. If they wrote the song, they obviously like the words and they want others to hear what they are saying. Why in the world would you turn down songs that could get the company get more money.
Another thing I would like to mention is the annoying carrot merchandise. Nobody wants a picture of One Direction huddled together from like 2011 on a pink little backpack.That crap is for 5 year olds, who don't even know anything about them.The main fan base are people from ages 13-20, so why isn't the merchandise changing into something that most people of those ages would like?
They should stop making them look like a "bubblegum pop innocent boy band". They are obviously a lot older and mature now, and they shouldn't have to hide who they are because of a management wanting them to look very "clean" and not have a "bad image on the company".
All of these things can be easily fixed, and everyone complains, yet the company doesn't change anything. I could write a 5 page report on how this management stinks. This is all just the basics.
