Friendly staff, but not much of a selection. A lot of the paint racks are empty. Not sure if I will come back, there are better stocked hobby stores in the area.

Great store. I'm a scifi model type of guy (mostly Star Trek) and I find it is hard to find those particular models in most stores. Modeller's Choice tends to have the most scifi models I've seen around Hamilton. If they don't have the model, then it's just a matter of reserving it and you'll get it the next time it's shipped in. I found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Especially when trying to find the right paint for a particular model I'm working on. Definitely my go-to-store for models and paints in Hamilton.

Little to no selection, not worth the drive! They had about 20 car kits and the same amount of airplanes... Some of the kits were already open... Sad. To the Owners: start stocking the shelves and people will come.

It should be everywhere that they can in Canada for a collector of nascar diecast and there the closest I can get them plus there really nice and will find what you want if they don't have it they will tell you when it's coming

Modeller's Choice moved (in September, 2012) to 865 Upper James Street, Hamilton, Ontario L9C 3A3 . Phone number remains the same. It would be great if Google would change the address on this search.

They have really downsized, almost no plastic kits at all. Its ok for diecast, anything else they probably won't have and have to order in. They barely have paints too. That's disappointing. The only good thing was that there is lots of parking and the guy in the store was pretty friendly, but not very knowledgeable.

Great place I want to go every week
But the search bar in the online store is not really helpful. You have to type the exact thing out every time
Also I would like if you expand into the Simcoe area

Modeller's Choice is "Okay" for a beginner hobbyist,
but not recommended for more advance hobbyist due to poor model selection
and basic model accessories.

Made the trip up to the store once. It was my first and last time going there, because when I walked in, a staff member asked if I needed help. When I said I was just looking around, he proceeded to follow me around the store, like I was some kind of shop lifter or something. Every time I looked up, he was watching me. I gave up looking at the limited selection of models and moved onto the paint section. I asked the guy following me around if they had a particular finishing product in stock. He didn't know, so he asked the guy behind the counter, and he replied with some kind of snotty remark about how I didn't need that and I could "just use something else." I walked out without buying anything, and I don't plan on returning.
