This scam company just called because they said my phone number was associated with my daughter's phone number and they were looking for her to give them a call back. What the hell kind of company does that sort of thing? They even went so far as to mask their phone number with a local number from my area. So that was a phishing phone call if they couldn't display their originating phone number. Scam alert!

This is a scam. & I have seen a lot of people fall into it. LOOK THEM UP ON BBB. STOP GIVING PERSONAL INFORMATION OUT TO PEOPLE AND COMPANIES YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH. These people are crazy and I am not even sure how they are still harassing people. Not to mention- they called my phone asking for my mother that does not live in the same state as me AND they called from the same area code as me when they arent even around my area. FAKE.

They called my mom looking for me. They knew my maiden name and my married name and claimed to have my social security number, but needed my place of employment. The message left on my mom's machine was scary sounding, but it claimed they had also sent mail (they have not).

So, I looked them up.

Thanks to another user on here, I DID look them up on BBB and, for added measure, my state's corporate commission website. These people haven't had a license to work in my state in almost four years! And have a BBB grade of F. I told my mom to block their number and I will not be calling them to give them any information.

As a suggestion, always run checks on these people, especially if they are going through family members because "they can't find your information".

These people are ridiculous, harassing myself and my mother in law. Miranda or whatever her name was , was extremely rude and disrespectful. Spoke with the manager and was just as much of a tool as she was.

It's a scam, they call you about someone else's debt and claim to have legal papers drawn up. They try and get people to pay for old debt that's been paid off and never appropriately closed out. Miranda acts as a legal associate but is most likely just the receptionist sitting in some guys basement making calls. Don't fall it, block the number or request that they send you copies of the debt with the original collector. Too many people fall for these scams, these people are toxic and low life's trying to take advantage of others.

"Ms. Miranda/Ms. O'Toole" from the so-called "Pre-Legal division" called my husband, my daughter and whoever she could contact, asking how she could find me (I have a private number). When my daughter said that she had the wrong number, she became rude, irate and unprofessional.

This "Lady" told my husband that I acquired a debt in 2013 (before we were even married), said that he needed to control my spending habits, became extremely argumentative with him then threatened HIS wages. I understand that folks have a job to do; however, these ignorant tactics won't get you paid! My daughter reported the company to the BBB and I contacted MNS & Associates directly. If this IS a verified debt that I forgot about, I'll make sure not to give THEM my money.
