I attended for the 1st time last weekend and had a great time! It's motivating to be around like-minded individuals and will definitely make it a point to attend at least once a month! Thank you to the founder and owner Elena for providing us with an outlet to showcase our talents!!

Mmtb is a fantastic filmmaking org and a great venue for your next event! Whether you're a filmmaking amateur or auteur, mmtb hosts regular filmmaking events to practice your craft. Also, mmtb's Rodeo, CA facility hosted a writer's workshop recently for authors and the waterfront location served as the perfect, placid backdrop for inspiration.
I've been participating for about a year and a half, and love it! It's truly amazing that a group of people can come together and in a few hours create a movie from scratch. It's also a great opportunity to meet other interested in making movies :)

MMTB is a great place to be at if you want to get knowledge and understand how the film industry works. There are many things to do from acting, lighting, videography, etc... See how things come together to understand the process and create some films whether they are others or your own. Just message Elena Altman which runs it. A great person to be around and also a good cook if you're in a week long production.
Elena Altman has worked hard over the years to put together a community of like minded filmmakers that are goal oriented in making films in the Bay Area. I ve had the pleasure of working with Elena in joint Mixers in the past. She s been very supportive in providing a location and help promoting what the Bay has to offer.
MMTB provides a series of unique opportunities. You can, for a very modest price, register, show up, and be part of a movie! You can be in one as an actor, you can help as crew, you can write, or with a little more effort and prep, you can direct. Fabulous experience. And your film will be shown in a theater!
MMTB offers several other kinds of opportunities as well including actors days to help build your acting reel, full length features, producers challenges, mixers, viewings, and several annual film festivals. I don t know anywhere else in the Bay Area that offers these kinds of opportunities to everyone, actors, crew, writers, and directors alike. Especially well suited to beginners but plenty of opportunities for intermediate and advanced folks as well.
Elena Altman the fearless leader of MMTB is a wonderful person to work with and the actors and film crews that work with her are fantastic as well. Everyone that I work with that have worked with her agree, she is one of a kind masterful in her artistic endeavors.

Elena is awesome, my 3 daughters and I really enjoyed working with her. We had lots of fun with the rest of the crew. We met with other actors from around the Bay Area and filmed together. She gave us the opportunity and I am really grateful she did. Now we know a lot of actors and producers all around which some had given us a chance to be part of their films. It s all volunteer work, not paid, but is an awesome place to start for your acting career, you learn how to improvise which makes it easier when you have an audition. I recommended this place, fun people to work with, thanks a lot Elena for the opportunity.

At MMTB, we believe that everyone should have access to resources and opportunities to pursue their passion for filmmaking. That's why we offer a range of services and programs designed to help aspiring filmmakers hone their skills and showcase their work.
One of our most popular programs is our monthly film challenge. Each month, we provide participants with a theme or prompt for a short film that they must complete within 30 days. This program not only helps filmmakers develop their skills but also provides them with exposure as all films are screened at our monthly events.
In addition to the film challenge program, MMTB also offers workshops on various aspects of filmmaking such as screenwriting, directing, cinematography, editing and more. These workshops are taught by experienced industry professionals who share their knowledge and expertise with participants.
