Went to sort out Airasia tickets at the KLIA 2 counter bought online before covid times which was cancelled due to the pandemic. It has been an ongoing tussle delay with lots of waiting and waiting without proper channel to assist me. Someone please come to my aid. All Star Team and Chat with Ava where have you gone hiding?

Fifth time through KL just in the last two months....

Fifth time through KL just in the last two months. Most of the airport is fine (but can be a maze / zoo of shopping) but immigration is a disorganized mess. It's not just that it can literally take hours to get through just immigration. Their lines and queues are a mess. No sense of urgency or basic organizational leadership to be found. I don't care if it costs more to go around KL but I'm going to try as hard as I can to find a different airport.

2nd rate airport. NO charging stations for phones. T2 is dominated by AirAsia, a cheap airline, obsessed with 7kg limit on bags than good customer service. Too many PRCs. KLIA express is a ripoff at 55 RM. Bus to KL sentral cost only 13R. And lastly, why is the tandas (bathroom) always wet? Malays dont seem to know how to use toilet paper

Minimal counters in operation despite having growing queues of travellers. Stuck together with other travellers heading on the same flight. Was 2 hours early for the flight but had to still run to rush because of the way they were working. Ultra slow work speed while still being able to laugh and joke with colleagues.

Clean, nice, big and efficient

Clean, nice, big and efficient
You need the wear comfort shoes
N give enough time to walking around n make sure to be in the gate ontime.
Sight seeing could carry away forget time.
Be sure your hand carry luggage is not over 7 kg because now Air Asia is weighting the luggage in front.

Once checked in to the waiting room just before boarding..YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DRINK WATER. An officer with 50+ medals stuck to her uniform will come and say take your water outside and finish...This is when your flight has been announced delayed by 45 minutes. "Malaysia Truly Asia" Give that lady another Medal !!

Airport is run down. Not enough lounges for seating. The small amount (10 or so) lounges available are dirty and need updating. No charging stations for gadgets. Ive been all over asia and KL is definitely not up to standard. Especially for a Malaysia Airline hub. Toilets are poor quality, never any toilet paper. Make sure you BYO your toilet paper! Water all over the floors and hardly cleaned. There are a few good cafe's to eat which is the only thing it has going for it...

To Malaysia airlines. I had travelled from Sydney to Bengaluru on malaysia airlines on the 4th nov. They had misplaced my luggage and finally when it did arrive the bag was badly damaged, and is no more in workable condition, has holes in the bag and the zip torn. The bag value is of 400$ Australian dollars and also some of the content is also stollen worth 100$. I am fed up with their negligence and so disappointed with the way its handled. I want my money back!. I warn everyone the airline is pathetic. Have no respect for people's belonging. I have images to support my case. If anyone has faced the same issue please tell me how u went about it!

This is a modern and sophisticated airport! It s comfortable one!! If you use major airlines your terminal is KLIA1. Air Asia and some LLC is in KLIA2. Looks like terminal 2 is more modern terminal. Basically there are no various restaurants and good shops before security but after security there are many duty shops, luxury boutiques, souvenirs shops, good cafe and restaurants! All lounges are behind security! I found local restaurants and Starbucks too!!! Especially I like local restaurants. We can enjoy local favorites in the last minute!! They have security check for your belongings at each boarding gate again! So check your time in terminal! Enjoy!

Immigration @ Pyongyang airport is likely quicker than at KL. This is certainly not a well planned 'international hub'. Consider flying via Singapore or BKK instead!

I arrived at 8 pm and had to wait for my next flight until 4 am and there was no place for a rest. Staff were rude and ignoring the passengers who need a place for a short sleep.
After this horrible experience, I was sick for a week.
I don't recommend this airport for transit flights.

SOPs are strictly adhered. The washroom in one of the baggage reclaim halls (If not mistaken, hall K) is renovating, so to go to the washroom it's required to exit the hall, however re-entering the baggage reclaim area was not allowed. Other than that, everything was superb as always.

The authority of this airport wants to kill you by dehydrating you. You have to dispose off your water before the security check at the gate and when you enter the room awaiting for boarding, there is no water dispenser. Thier intention is to leave you die of dehydration during the 1 hour wait in the waiting room. Incidentally I complained to the officer there, and he proudly replied that they managed to kill some of the heart disease individuals over the years by preventing them taking medication without water.

Decent airport.

Decent airport.
Located 45@60 minutes from KL (traffic depending).

Getting here?
By Grab, bus, train (ERL) or drive.

Airport can be busy at times.
There are many dining outlet.

If you are a frequent flier: you get the lounge access prior your flight (many airline lounge).

Nice airport, nice facilities although not 5-star rating.. in the peak season will expect long queque in check-in counters and immigration. Last time we needed more than 30 minutes in quequeing.
There are some choices to go in / out: airport taxi, uber/grab and klia express. Grab cost around 65RM plus toll if needed.
One problem that needs to be solved is many drivers park the car at the lane - waiting for passengers or families/relatives.

I am presently sitting waiting for a flight to Amsterdam, this terminal is soulless it has no atmosphere, no cafe in sight along with toilets. We are made to wait in a corridor because they can't be bothered to open the gate so we have some where to sit. Crap does not being to describe it, still there some amusement as people board the walkways just to find they have been turned off. One of the worst airports around. Security is a joke they look for nail clippers whilst ignoring bombs etc.

KLIA I (for international flights) has an up to date infrastructure, excellent lounges and speedy wifi. Lots of coffee places if your not able to lounge it, so no worries spending an hour before you hit security, which is surprisingly well organized.

One of the best international airport in south Asia region. KUL have all the facilities to provide the maximise experience to their passengers.

They are providing the check out view, movie experience while who are transiting through KUL. Also, if anyone have the transit visa they can able to easily access the transit hotel such as sama-sama express hotel.

They are providing the rail link , airport limo services and airport coach to their passengers based on their convenience.

Immigration took more than half an hour to clear 9...

Immigration took more than half an hour to clear 9 people (the guy behind the counter was practically catatonic and probably should have been in a hospital), the x-ray machine at customs broke down, and the walk from customs to the departure gates was ridiculously far (seriously, there was a large shopping mall between the two).

Despite being at immigration more than an hour before take-off, I was held up for an absurd amount of time and had to run the entire way to the plane to just squeak through the boarding window... only to find the gate closed with nary a soul in sight. The airline staff returned 30 minutes later, claiming to have left their post only 5 minutes before take-off (yeah, right).

I was refused a transfer to the next flight because, and I quote, "Everyday people complain customs slow." In the end, I was forced to purchase a new plane ticket at an inflated price.

Great job, Kuala Lumpur.

Compared to 5 years ago, it s very slowly improving. Immigration was slow back then, but now with the new Passport machine, it s much much quicker. The train service from main terminal to satellite terminal needs to improve. Broke down on me once and I almost miss my flight. 2 train track but many times only 1 is being used. Toilets are due for renovation. Very dated compared to many international airports.

I think this is big airport but not that rich at looks and irregularly ordered... Its more like mall than airport.
This airport has very special thing for Indians, guess why coz u can see many Indians to specify tamilians working over here. Not only tamilians many people from all over the Indians used to work here. It's see pleasing to watch that.
Over all this airport is very nice.

As one of the only major international airports worldwide which requires passengers to go through immigration for a stop over flight this place gets 1 star. Completely backwards system which on occasion requires you to wait up to 2 hours going through immigration to get a visa you dont even want.
Just let us catch our connecting flight next time eh? Its not that difficult surely.

Somehow it has nice merchants for waiting. Clean and big. But there is no security help to manage the queue in immigration line. There are 30 lines but not all of them are open. The queue lines become a mess.. a lot of people interfere the line and open the queueing line border and no security takes action for this. Some people also smoke at non-designated smoking area.
