Very friendly staff and great service and great food

The food is so good here, it ought to have a Michelin star. I ve just eaten the Chateaubriand and it was perfect! Also great service. Highly recommended :-)

Old village pub with rooms. Comfortable and friendly, very good breakfast but didn't try the evening menu. Recommended.

Love this place, real friendly homely type pub, amazing real ales and a good selection of spirits, home cooked food. Recommend the pie with roast potatoes and a range of 4-5 vegetables.

Really appreciate you taking us in at the last minute. Needed a room at the last hour minute. Food was great too. You must try them.

Very good landlord and landlady, well kept cellar, food very good also. If you want a nice lunch time meal and chat go early as the pub closes at 2 30 in the week in the winter, I don't know about the weekend, will definitely visit again.

Cosy, quirky and friendly. Went in for dinner with our kids and everyone was very happy with their food. Really nice to have excellent choices for children and vegetarians and the only issue I had with the food was that the dessert menu was a list of my absolute favourite puddings, and I was plunged into pudding turmoil argh!

Lovely meal in cosy bar, so many great vegan options for main and puds, really impressed. Our dogs were spoilt by the staff too!

What a delightful inn. Full of collectibles from all over the world. Located in the heart of this small village. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Their pub and restaurant offered excellent meals and service. We experienced a hitch in our travel plans and the staff were extremely helpful and supportive. Walkers welcomed.

Quality of local ingredients and taste was very impressive. We had a pie and chips takeaway July 2020. Delicious, filling and all on time. Definately recommend

Had a jacket spud with cheese and beans... top drawer good price, welcoming and then went back 2 days later and had a curry... make sure you check the opening hrs on their website...

Lovely village b&b would have liked more toiletries in room only shower gel was provided) and lights were poor for reading. Also towel rail fell down as soon as we touched it- which is why towels weren't on it I suppose. However, service was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast really good, and we had our evening meal there which was excellent and a good bar. Although the decor was eccentric, eclectic and overcrowded, it was good value for money and I'd certainly eat there again. The bedrooms needed an upgrade.

Lovely room, owners and staff very friendly and helpful. Witheridge is a good place to stop on the Two Moors Way. Would recommend staying here.

The owners of this lovely inn were very accommodating, letting us stay last minute (30 mins notice!) and staying up for us, when other places had turned us away on our Lands end to John O Groats cycle. Amazing!
