I'm sure this is a nice store when you can go there in person, but they need to do serious work on their on line service. I placed an order on 1/7/17 & they had no trouble processing my payment just 2 days later. I finally called to check the status of my order on 1/19, 12 days after placing it, since I had heard nothing at all. I was told they moved their warehouse & they got behind. No apology for the poor service. She did offer to go to the "cut department" & try to speed up my order. It's now more than 2 days later & still my order hasn't shipped. Seems to me they could have found a way to communicate to their on line customers about the wait AND perhaps apologize? The total lack of information, AFTER processing my payment, is unacceptable. I do like their fabric selection, but I will never again order from this company.
This place is soo much fun!! Especially during birthday bash. We had a party. I only wish I would've been lucky enough to meet Mrs. Jenny in person. Love the beautiful fabric I purchased.
Recommend starting at the main store so you can get a shopping pass. That way you don't have to keep giving your email. Great place to shop.
Missouri is good. The town of Hamilton is very friendly. Jenny Doan is nice. Not a lot of places to eat. The bar b q now of town on the right is good. We stayed at the RV park. Close to town.
A fun place. I enjoyed tbe different stores and looking at the fabric and gadgets. I'm not a quilter, but I love to sew. I found quite a bit to buy. I would have bought more if they had apparel fabrics, but that is not their specialty. I really love how they have revived their downtown area.
Hoped to find some sale merchandise.. not so. I did get DOD without shipping. We did better in Paducah.
Fun place, great selection, no price gouging, friendly staff.
Huge selection of anything you need to sew and very friendly and helpful employees
This is at least my third time visiting Missouri Star Quilt. I live in Oregon but when I am in the area this is my "go to" destination. Thank you to BJ and the rest of the employees (I am sorry I don't remember the other's names) who were wonderful resolving a special order issue. My only complaint? Missouri Star isn't closer to Gresham, OR.
It has been on my "places to visit" list for quite some time! I was not disappointed, the hardest thing was trying to pick and choose my fabrics...more selection than a JC Penney catalog. Charming town. A must see for all quilters!
Absolutely fabulous!! The main store is so big and bright, it completely lived up to all of my expectations! Plus!! We had the chance to meet Jenny!! Who is just as friendly, warm and bright as she appears online.
All of the staff bends over backwards to be sure you're taken care of and happy.
Can't believe how this place has made this city a place to visit
Really good place to shop for material and etc. Very nice and friendly people. I recommend this place to any and all quilting!! Beatuiful environment!
It was fantastic! Everyone was so nice and helpful. Since we were on a bus tour my friend thought it would have been nice to ha e a central location for a bag check. That way you could continue to shop a d not carry heavy packages
Such a fun day visiting all the stores in the town. A must do if you like material. Wonderful employees and some great choicess to eat.
On my list of places I want to go! Love the tutorials by Jenny on You tube, can't wait to get started on my first quilt. Inspirational !!
It took over a week for my order to even ship then when a package was finally delivered I opened it only to discover it wasn't my order. When I called MSQC to tell them about the mix up they didnt seem overly concerned. The girl stated this happens all the time. Not sure when if ever I will receive my order.
