We celebrated our 4 year anniversary while participating in Cora's, date night special. Surf and turf, roasted potatoes and asparagus with a side salad and bananas Foster for desert. This was a great deal for $40.

I do not recommend staying here. The pool and hot tub are nasty. The bar is rarely open, and when it is, the drinks are very expensive. Everyone we saw brought their own booze. The service is inconsistent. Early check in is fairly common in hotels, but when we called to see if we could check in, the woman who answered was adamant that we could not check in until 4. However, our mother called late and it seemed that an early check in was no issue. So whatever. We had hoped that this would be a repeat stay, but it will not.

The family went there after Thanksgiving for something different, it was nice, kind of cozy, food was good. We had several different items, they were all good. We didn't order wine but the selection looked ok, maybe next time.

Restored historic building with modern decor throughout. We had a king suit looking out toward the beach. It was big and great view. The only downside would be that the rooms echoed quite a bit due to the hardwood floors. This made it a little easy to hear people in the neighboring rooms through the adjoining doors. Restaurant and bar in hotel make it well worth the money.

Charming place! My wife & I were so much happier here than down the street among the casinos. The quality of the hotel is what we were expecting but didn't find down the street at the Double Tree. We'll come back to stay here at the Whitehouse Hotel.:)

The room and staff were nice, but the facilities were horrible. The mildew was so bad on the outside of the room windows, that we could. Or see the beach. The pool was in such bad shape it would have been hazardous to swim in.

Provides a more personal experience than the big casinos. Nice location just a few steps away from the beach. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool. Our enthusiasm for the place was somewhat dampened by the early checking policy ($25 charge), various maintenance issues, and terrible food in the restaurant.

My title says it all OMG this hotel was perfect from the moment of check in, to the moment of check out. We stay 3 days and it was well worth every dime we spent. We stayed in room 202, it was equipped with everything fridge, microwave, shower and tub. If we didn't have to leave we could have just stayed in the hotel the entire stay. The roof top view was gorgeous and very romantic. Each of the employees were absolutely great, nice, friendly attitudes, smile each time they saw us whether it was once or three time the spoke and ask how was our day doing which made the stay even more genuine. There was only one housekeeper there that was not to friendly but I think she just didn't want to be bother that day, but she wasn't my housekeeper so it didn't matter to much because we didn't have to deal with her. Our housekeeper was a young lady her name is Anna and SHE WAS AMAZING if we saw her 4 or 5 times a day and she smiled each time we saw her, talked to us and made sure to ask us if we needed anything...ANNA YOU ARE AMAZING DONT EVER CHANGE YOUR PERSONALLY YOU WILL GO FAR JUST WITH YOUR ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!
On another note it was our anniversary trip and I mention that to Sam(she is also a sweet heart), she made sure that it was recognize they placed chocolate covered strawberry in our room and made sure that we were comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel the food is wonderful there, Joel was our waiter he took really good care of us along with about 5 other tables and to say he had so many people in there he never neglected to show us the perfect amount of time at our table Thanks Joel. The entire experience was great my husband LOVED it and so did I.

I WOULD RECCOMEND ANYONE TO STAY AT THE WHITE HOUSE WE WILL SURELY STAY HERE AGAIN....

This hotel is beautiful and historic which adds a lot of charm. The staff, from the front desk, to the bartenders and the restaurant hosts were all amazing, warm and welcoming. The hotel is centrally located next to many fun things to do, Including being just a short walk across the street to the beach. The hotel staff was kind enough to send us a bottle of champagne after hearing we had just become engaged. I highly recommend and will be back again.

Nice hotel, but it is hard to believe that for a room (room 203) that costs $170 per night the bathroom sink is smaller than one you would find in a port-a-let. No bathroom vanity; I had to put my things on top of the toilet while I groomed. Which by the way was conveniently inches away from the port-a-let sized sink. The closet was in the bathroom so everything would get wet from the shower steam.

Omg'! Yes. I made my reservation and had to communicate with the hotel several time due to my personal changes. I kept getting my new friend Patti. She was the nicest and the kindest person over the telephone. Patti even called me a couple of time to inform me of when rooms became available due to my inquiry when I initially spoke with her. After I arrived and met Patti in person she was very welcoming. During my stay I got lost driving 3 time and I was so glad to call Patti for directions each time. She was so helpful. For some reason my cell phone GPS was not clear to me as I'm use to my car's GPS however I did not drive to Biloxi, I flew. Thank God for all the Patti's of the world. I'm also glad to see that mature people are still welcomed in the work place. So many employer only hire young people. Mature people bring a special understanding and patience to the work place if they are allowed. Thank you for allowing me to comment. I will be returning soon to Biloxi and I will be staying at the White House Hotel. I've also recommended The White House Hotel to my friends. Regina Rice

This place is in the middle of being remodeled. Once its complete it will be amazing place to stay. From a remodel stand point it seems like the job is or was being rush and not noticing the fine and simple details. The hotel needs ventilated for a few weeks to get the musty smell out. The grounds are beautiful along with the pool area. They have came along way from what it used to be. Looking forward to staying here once it's in amazing condition. It will be worth the prize they are asking.
Today we had water loss due to water main break and now the water is out again due to water mains "tripped the fuses". So far this hasn't been the best experience. They have comped our room some but the downstairs customer service needs more training on politeness.

This was our first time dining at Cora's at the white house hotel and it was decent. Would have given a higher rating if they weren't out of prime rib. That was the reason I went here in the first place. The manager seemed to really care less about the fact we came here for the prime rib but were told they were out. He said the kitchen was late getting them cooking. It takes 4 hours so they wouldn't be ready until after the restaurant closed. We both had the pork chop instead. The food was good. Be sure you ask your server for bread or else you won't get it...

They didn't tell me when I made the reservation that it was a buffet and you could not order off of the menu. The menu items looked great. What was offered at the buffet, not so great for $23. Very disappointing !!

We stayed here for a Jamey Johnson concert at the Biloxi convention center. This old hotel has many characters that makes staying here worthwhile. The room was small but has tall ceilings to make it feel less confining. We stayed in 324 with a nice view of the front of the hotel and saw a little bit of the beach. AC worked well. Wish we had more time to see more of pics of the hotels from its glory days in 1850s. The "angel" shaped pool looked cool and refreshing. Will definitely stay here again.

The White House Hotel was all it promised to be...and more! The decor was beautiful, the staff was exceptional, and the overall experience was amazing! I cannot wait to book a stay here again! I have traveled extensively for work and recreation, and I assure you this was one of the best experiences I have had!

The drinks were excellent, the service was accommodating, and the front desk allowed me to print an urgent document. 5 stars. Will be going back for their aviation cocktail.

We really had high hopes for this hotel. The accommodations were pretty average. I had thought that they may have leaned into the rich history of the hotel and area in the decor. Any personality and uniqueness portrayed by the exterior was lost in the rooms. In our first room the bedside lamps were falling apart and the dresser/tv stand was undersized. We upgraded to a larger room the next night but still felt the furnishings lacked the quality expected for the hotel. The shower renovation was honestly just poorly executed. The bottom floor of the shower was unevenly grouted which led to exposed sharp edges of the river rock finish. The rest of tile surround was improperly grouted and sealed. In the corners, grout was actually missing which allowed water to pour down behind the wall of the shower. The beds in both rooms were firm but serviceable. By far the most disappointing aspect of our stay was the pool. I had held out hope that the pool would be the one thing that would save the stay but it too was in a similarly poor state. The hot tub was neither hot nor did it have enough water in it to properly function. The water level was so low that the jets were exposed and operating more as fountains. The hot tub and pool were very dirty. Aside from numerous stains there was an accumulation of dirt and gravel at the bottom. Finally the tile grout around the entire perimeter of the pool was caked in algae. The pool and hot tub were clearly poorly maintained for a long period of time. When we brought the issues to the attention of hotel staff we were given $30 off our bill but assured there was no issue with maintenance or the shower. Sadly I think any of the nearby casinos would have provided a far better experience. Although the White House looks beautiful from the outside it has all the hallmarks of cheap flip that is poorly maintained. We unfortunately won't be returning.

This is an historic site and is newly renovated. It's absolutely beautiful, has a restaurant with very tasty food, a bar, lovely view of the ocean, and modern furnishings in the rooms. Plus, the staff are super helpful and friendly!

The hotel was beautifully appointed. I interacted with 3 people at the front desk and they were all so kind and friendly. View from the room was the Gulf through live oaks with Spanish moss. Room was super cool temperature wise, which was More

The upstairs bar and Lounge has a nice balcony View of the ocean. There is a better stocked bar downstairs but you can order anything from the bar or the kitchen and they will deliver it to you upstairs. I go on the last Sunday every month for a Milonga to dance Argentine Tango. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is very good in spite of the crowd.

My family of 5 stayed at the White House Hotel in October during Cruise the Coast. We were just passing through from New Orleans to Orange Beach. This hotel was fantastic. It is right across the street from a beautiful white sand beach, and has a great pool. It was raining the afternoon we arrived, but it didn't stop us from going swimming. They had a huge flamingo float in the pool, which was a big hit with the kids. The pool area was super cool. There was a bar like area to which looked like they could have a really cool pool party out there. The rooms were clean, and modern. We really enjoyed being out at the pool area watching all the fun cars drive by.
The only complaint I have whatsoever, is that I was able to book for the 5 of us, but there was only the two beds. They didn't have a fold out bed or anything they could provide for our third child.
The gal at the front desk when I checked in was super friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would be willing to stay here again should we find ourselves in the area.

Location on the beach was great, close to the casinos and many eateries, too. The rooms was very nice, lots of little special touches that make the experience great. The service pretty generic, nothing special. I would stay here again, but only if there was a promotion going on.

Gorgeous rooms. No carpet in our room so better for allergies but floor was super cold. Room was facing beach but unfortunately there is a road between it and beach and could hear traffic all night

We recently got married at the White House Hotel and the grounds are absolutely stunning. The hotel has a lot of character that can't be found at chain hotels. The staff was great, and the catering (from Coras Restaurant in the hotel) was delicious! The only reason it didn't get 5 stars on our end was due to some administrative rules such as not being able to check in until 4pm..(thats really late). The breakfast is really expensive, even when staying at the hotel. Nonetheless, it was overall a great experience and we would definitely have our wedding there again! Most beautiful hotel on the coast!!
