Decent venue for music, but you need a good sense of humour for the toilets and the bar prices - for the amount of money they make on the door and bars, they need to think about reinvestment in the venue and facilities.

Love this venue and they always have plenty of staff on bar.

Belta place for all sorts of stuff from watching your fav pop group or sports or a charity event it's not that easy to get to I just got a taxi as I don't think I would have found it on foot.

Loved The Straits UK, drinks are pricey in the venue and my shoes were literally stuck to the floor at the bar. However, all the staff I came into contact with were polite and friendly.

Cracking venue for gigs. You can get right to the front if you want to. The only negative point is the lack of decent beer. It's ok if you like Carling!!

Always like visiting this venue but there never seems to be enough bar staff. Obviously people are going to want to drink and they have a fair idea of how many people will be there and to staff accordingly. But other than that I like watching gigs here.

Took a disabled person here. Staff were very helpful but a wheelchair would be very difficult

Expensive drinks in plastic beakers.
Quite often I find the sound not very good but it depends a lot on where you stand in the venue.

Reasonably polite staff which isn't always a given at music venues. Drinks exorbitantly priced and poor quality. The area at the top of the stairs at the balcony had the welcoming smell of urine when I visited.

Sound quality was pretty good.

It seems like a pretty slick exercise in wringing every penny out of you with minimal investment in, anything really, even mops.

Would I go back? Yes, for the right act. But not if I could go somewhere else.

Good central location. Grainger Town multi storey car park nearby, which is free after 5pm. However drinks are v expensive and views from the upper seating area are hampered by a large black steel rail. If you can stand to stand, do that :)

Packed venue as usual, staff service at main bar was excellent

Overpriced beer. Waiting outside in the wet when you have VIP tickets. Meh. Venue itself is OK though.

Great place for music although when it's full there can be a bit of a bottleneck on the stairs down to the main floor

We came here to see postmodern jukebox and had such a nice night! Everyone there was so nice and even saved our space for us and the staff were so helpful. I would definitely come back!

Went to see Gerry Cinnamon, great venu, drinks not over priced. Excellent night.

2.75 to hang up your coat then freezing when you get in wish I'd kept it on 5.25 for a pint which was flat bottled beer choice shocking wont be back the venue is archaic no stars

Great venue, two stages the one upstairs is very small and intimate, the main room is excellent for the type of rock gig I go to.

Great place and be able to see the band(s) close up without giant screens!

The 02 Academy is a really great place to see live music in the city & the price of tickets are reasonable.

Good size venue for musical events, they get some great bands playing here! Bars are always difficult to get served at unless you are there extremely early and as is the same with most venues there are never enough toilets. The way you are thrown out after the bands have finished is a bit ruff but it is a good place to see live music.

Really great time!! Fantastic that seats were provided.

I went here to see Shed Seven on their Shedcember Tour 2017.
It took ages to queue to leave but other than that it was faultless.

Could do with being a bit cheaper for drinks and a bit sticky but better sound than the arena.

Take ya big coat cos its freezing inside and needs a revamp but when the lights are out ya cannit tell ha, good sound which is the main thing i suppose

I had the best day of my life here. I went to see Lukas Graham in March 2017 and it was a great concert and Lukas even held my hand.

Great venue in an easy to get to location. PIL were amazing as always.

Decent venue but the drinks prices are ridiculous for crap beer.

Sound is a bit poor, but the bars are well staffed.
