They couldn't even respond to my email about getting help throughout their shoddy recruitment process, vidrecruiter kept crashing and their head of HR took the day off (Friday...sure) so I couldn't even have them reset and resend the interview link. Now I'm going to be stressed all weekend about whether or not my job application will be fairly assessed, or if it will be handled with the same lack of quality shown in their hiring process.
It's an easy enough job as you just read the script they have (differs depending on whether you're doing inbound or outbound calls). The charities they support are pretty great (Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Sick Kids). Kind of sketchy as there wasn't a job interview-just an application to fill out online. They're weirdly against having reading materials that aren't Miratel related on the call centre floor. So if there's a large gap between inbound calls you're just supposed to sit there, I guess? It's very monotonous, especially if you're doing outbound and expected to make a lot of calls in an hour. There's no guarantee of minimum hours and they expect such open availability which is stupid because they'll send you home early. It makes it hard to find another part time job. The "competitive wage" they mention is $14/hr. It's not that great.
Please be away from this company as they fire after the campaign is done with just an email.
I worked here for almost 3 months. Good Supervisors. I was kicked out just by email within 5 hours of Lottery tickets sold out.
I bought my CHEO dream of a Lifetime Lottery,, and 18 days later, still no tickets, as of September 30th CHEO will start a investigation as where my tickets were sent to, on their website it says 7 to 10 days before tickets arrive at your home, 18 days later, still no tickets.
