Miramar Navy Exchange Review

Everyone is very nice. If you pay with cash you are good, but must with someone with a military ID. If you pay with a card you have to have a military ID.

A nicely furnished & well stocked Base Exchange. The Commissary is next door.

Larger x change with good selection of items that are more southern California styled.

Nice setup just like a Walmart but cleaner and more organized. Very friendly sales staff. All products that you need and want without the tax.

The Exchange has friendly staff and a huge selection of low price, high quality items.
The commissary has an equally huge selection of groceries and every day items.

Camp pendleton's MCX is better and bigger. The air Wingers got jipped. Lol

A small exchange with a small selection, but well kept and friendly service.

They price match, I recommend downloading target, walmart, etc etc's apps and finding the same products on there, the MCX will honor any on store prices on those apps, and to you don't pay tax.

The Marine Corps Exchange is well-organized, well staffed and never crowded. I wish their prices were a little bit more competitive though

I thought we were supposed to help our military and their families! Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice store. The selection is high end. That's what surprised me! The selection and the prices were high end! I would of thought that good quality, with good pricing, would be very important on a military base!

They need to fix their customer service when answering the phone becausd when you call them to ask a question nobody will pick up their telephone.

Not always happy with their selection of "health foods" but they offer a good selection otherwise. Are always pleasant.

The MCX is a great place to get name brand things for way cheaper. This one has a great selection of clothes and shoes.

If you are an eligible patron, they have really good deals. However the selection of stuff is limited. I do go between the MCX and the Navy exchange to find the best deals and selection. A portion of their profit does go to MWR, so when I buy tickets for an event at ITT or do discounted event on base, mcx contributes.

The MCX is great to shop at and appreciate discounts. I don't take it for granted!

The store does not carry any SCUBA gear. (I would think that is something navy personnel would be interested in). The store also does not carry newer cameras. In addition to that, the sales person that supposedly was there to help me choose a camera gave me erroneous/false information regarding the functionality of the camera I was considering. Had I bought the camera, I would have had to make a 50 miles round trip to return it. That camera does not have the features I was looking but was told that it did. I was very disappointed by the lack of merchandise and the horrible help.

Needed a perscription filled. I do wish that they could serve their customers quicker. If nothing else, they should get more seating out there. Making all those elderly veterans stand around for over an hour is just plain wrong - you, of all people, should know better!!!

They have a pretty good beer selection. But overall kids toys seem a little pricey but they had a great variety. Everything else high quality overall good.

You need an ID card and have provided or are providing service to your country. Liberal Pantywaists need not apply nor are they wanted.

Huge place with just about everything you need. Staff is also very friendly and willing to offer help when you so much as look at little lost. Also great quality items.

It's a department store. The checkout is pretty fast and there is a lot of parking.

Great shopping experience! Staff do a tremendous job of making customers service a priority. Only go when major sales events are on.

I love to go to the mcx. The mcx always have the best prices. Customer service depends on who you get. You have some that are sour and rude and they don't want to work but they need the money and that's why they're there. The other ones are nice and pleasant to chat with about your purchases.

The Military Exchange is not the bargin for our Service Members .... too expensive....

Exchange is awesome to go to since I know lots of Employe that work it make it fun for me to shop there.

Helpful employees and great selection of everything you need. Shoe department is good, toys a plenty. Clothes are abundant, jewelry is of good quality, and haircuts are cheap. Plenty of sporting goods and a new gun shop just opened. I ll check that out on my next visit.

The customer service was outstanding and the facility was pristine.

It s a good place to go but not if you re looking for kid clothes. I am trying to find 5t shorts and they had NOTHING 5t. I asked someone for help and they showed me where I had already looked and said there is nothing there. Her response oh sometimes they get it in and sometimes they don t. I think she meant they NEVER get it in because I ve been here a few times in the past few months looking for 5T clothes and have NEVER found anything 5T. Doesn t really make a person want to shop there again.

Always has better deals than anywhere else for household items

If you can utilize the MCX then nothing else needs to be said.

This NEX is like a Target more than a mall type store but you can find almost everything you need here
