Miramar Navy Exchange Review

All the electronics and clothing here are overpriced. Even though you don't pay tax here it is still cheaper to shop out in town.

I am a veteran that works on base but wish I was able to shop here. I am not retired or active. But I served 4 years.

It was like going to Walmart with 2 registers open and a line that was super long

i dont have any Complaints thus far about the service i just wish they were open longer hours. The time it closes is not to convient

Decent variety, well organized and clean. Price matching available and of course, tax free for military.

Who's managing this place? Every single time I go on there, no prices on any items!!! I have asked...they say inventory time. It's always inventory time! I don't have time to research prices on every single product prior to purchase. Fix this!

I had one of my worst experiences and this is my first ever review because of it I needed to return a handbag that was missing a letter for the brand they wouldn't take it and I had the receipt (2 days old) they said they couldn't sell it if it didn't have the missing letter I explained that I didn't know any better it was a gift I picked up for Mother's Day the only reason I knew it was missing one was because my wife noticed it before we were about to pack it. To make it short now I have an extra bag sitting in the closet I had to go buy another similar one to send off to my mother that was now twice the price. I won't shop here anymore unless It's a dier situation out of country.

The MCX MIRAMAR has a very good selection of products. The professionalism of the staff is excellent.
Prices are good.

It's an MCX, what more do you want. The shopping area has most everything you need. The prices at MCX aren't a bargain, but you do save on CA Sales Tax.

Decent prices made better by the absence of sales tax. However, admin any store, you can't just assume you're getting the best deal.

This location is excellent. It is located right next to the Commisary on MCAS Miramar. They usually have excellent clearance like the other MCX and NEX locations. Staff is very helpful if you have inquiries. We visit there often.

Great place to stop for quick buys. Easy in, easy out.

I could not find what I needed to be able to take care of my wound. Also there was no blood pressure machines, so I had to buy most everything at Wal-Mart. If the store did not have the pharmacy in it I would not even go into it anymore, as it has become more and more of a high end clothing store and less of a all round store.

I have been going to this MCX since 1989 and you can get really good deals and the associates there are ready willing and able to help you find whatever you need. If you are in the service, this is the place to go.

Shelves are replenished with new stock and fresh products and produce. Staff are very helpful and congenial as well as respectful. Happy and proud to be a regular and faithful customer.

Best place to go to shop. Hands down. They always have the best deals in all of San Diego.

Returning disabled veteran! Being bank at the commissary is a Godsend for those of us on a fixed income! Awkward and lengthy process to bring a friend. Hope they smooth that out. Looking forward to the savings!

I love the exchange. I know this won't be of use to anyone unless they have a military ID, but for those who do, it's a great place to shop. It's not as big as the Navy Exchange, but there is still lots to chose from and their prices are competitive with the Navy Exchange. It's clean, well stocked, employees are very nice and super helpful.

The Barber shop is straight butt, if possible go off base your hair will appreciate it

Our family loves this store. There are many great deals on the shelves.

The Marine Exchange and Commisary are ok. The clothing selection did not have my prefered styles and the shoe section had poor selection of sizes. The food court needs attention, needs renovation.

Good selection of clothing and uniform items. Overall not a bad MCX, avoid during WTI to many people and long lines.

Horrible hours, even 8pm would be great.
Rude employee's as well.

A place that serves and cares about their customers!

It was okay at the exchange. Prices were a little higher than I expected. Not many people around to answer questions. But it is a nice, big facility!

The cashier name Jessie at Electronics department was rude and not friendly at all,
Asked him if can someone help me to load 55 inches TV in my Van and he goes "all of us are busy here", He didn't even bother to call somebody,
That's not the way he treat the customers ,
I worked at retail for over 20 years ( 7 years in Navy Exchange in Philippines) and I know how to treat customer,

The c ashier Alysha at garden department was friendly and happy, she g reet customer nice,

This place is very nice inside and I have to travel 75 miles to get here and they have a Great amount of Clothing to Electronics where I bought a new Gaming Laptop and my wife found what she needed where March ARB in Moreno Valley is very small and doesn't have the Quality that this Exchange has.

Bought my 7 yr old some utilities and they are so cute and affordable

Not always the best prices on everything. We usually focus on paper products, snacks and frozen foods. The meat isn't always great, but it usually well priced. Lastly the produce is competitive in price, but the fruits are not always ready to eat. Enjoy!

Huge area full of quality itemsof all categories. Checkout was expedited by extra personnel. No wait!

Great place to shop for military personnel although new electronic inventory usually lagging in regards to new inventory ie... S3, Switch

Nice exchange, but stock is the higher priced range of merchandise. I think the prices can be beat by shopping around.

Some people are nice here but there are so many Rude Filipino workers who only seem to care about other Filipinos

That offers a large selection of grocery food stuffs, clothing, electronics, etc.

I am always disappointed with electronics. Prices are not competitive and it doesn't have latest models. Service is good, folks are friendly.

The person who helped us in baby dept was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Love my beloved Marine Corps the shopping is great and selection is always good.
