I absolutely love this place. The historical society is so welcoming and knowledgeable. It is a great place to visit with family with or without kids especially on a Saturday for the farmer's market.

Cute little place, the ladies know the history of the area and the buildings. Every Saturday in the summer is a lovely farmers market. The market is small, but all are friendly. The site has musicians and reenactors that come for special occasions. Everything looks like you made a large step back in time. Very nice, quaint.

Was closed on a Saturday. Looks like an interesting place. We were disappointed we could not gain access. Was highlighted on spectrum news that morning.
Great learning experience for everyone interested in early American history and ways of life. Be aware that finding where to park is challenging.
Great experience i got to see a whole lot of stuff i saw as a kid and showed my son and it was really cool to share some memories of the things i knew and had experienced it

This is a gem in Mint Hill. The buildings that are here were all saved from other locations. There is a little bit of everything. An old doctors museum which twice a year brings in leeches which were used by doctors in the old days, an old country store, an assay office where gold would be measured, a blacksmith, woodworker, and more.

Mint Hill's best kept secret! It is just wonderful that the History Society has been able to obtain these old buildings and get them moved to one location.
Great place for local history from the late 1800s to the 1930s. A lot of period artifacts.

Closed due to Covid so I'm unable to provide much feedback. I was able to wander around the old buildings. I will try to get back when the world returns to normal.
