Very welcoming resort and fantastic place to spend family holidays.
Fantastic main restaurant with lots of local delicacies and themed dinners, great service and entertainment.
Plenty of swimming pools and whirlpools, as well as sunbeds.
A playground, mini-club and designed shallow pool for children where they can splash about safely for hours.
I personally recommend SPA treatments - especially scented candle wax massage.

Good, clean hotel with very good staff but still with smaller drawbacks such. The beach is rocky and has a difficult access, in the hotel's own shop one feels somehow always very observed .... if there are always so much "thieves" there?

Beautiful and luxurious hotel.
3 swimming pools - 4 restaurants (buffet - Italian - a la carte restaurant - panoramic bio-gastronomic restaurant).
The rooms are spacious, beautiful, clean.
In the "Imperiale" part, some even have their own swimming pool.
There is also a spa with indoor pool and a hairdresser.
You are 16km from Chania (bus stop in front of the hotel) and 500m from the center of Platanias.

Fantastic and pure luxury! We have visited Minoa Palace Resort 8 times now and will definitely come again ... direct flights and easy transfer from the airport to the hotel approx. 25 min. ! Bus to Chania metropolis with market and plenty of restaurants along the harbor, takes approx. 20 min. ... must be tried if you can detach from the hotel's many pools and bars

We stayed at the Minoa Palace for one night early October,my husband and I absolutely loved the place. The staff was very attentive. We reached the resort earlier than anticipated and they allowed early check in with a welcome drink. Our room was spacious and had a great view of the main pool. The resort had one of the best breakfasts buffets with lots of options for different dietary restriction.

Fantastic spot! Nice rooms, friendliest staff, very good food at all times, very nice beach as well. Will come again!

Beautiful architecture, good place to spend a family vacation, very good interior decor and the service people were very warm !!!
But the beach had pebbles ... and the sea ... average!

Very nice resort, enough space for kids and easy and accesible menus. Not the hippest place on earth but a great place to rest and enjoy crete.

Great area, delicious food and good service. Actually everything was great, but book a trip at the front desk. No idea and totally overpriced.

Lovely holiday but Bungalows are not Bungalows but larger rooms and not worth the money when their is only two of us. We will go again but in a twin room.

7 euros to use the sunbeds if you're not staying at the hotel

The hotel is well situated, about 1 km from the center of Platanias. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel where a bus takes you along the coast every 15 minutes during the summer months (towards Chania or Kolymera).
The rooms were clean and sufficiently spacious. In the regular part there were 3 swimming pools of different depths that were well maintained.
Both breakfast and dinner are extensive, with plenty of choice and something for everyone.
The staff are very friendly and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Definitely recommended if you wish to explore the west of Crete.

Had a fantastic couple massage at the spa. Very, very professional. Their physiotherapist took great care of my sore back and neck. 100% worth every cent we spend here. Great way to start a vacation. We'll definitely be back before returning home. Cannot recommend this spa enough.

Best place ever. Loveliest, professional, personable staff. Make you feel VIP. amazing views from every point. Most delicious food, spoilt for choice. Private beach where you feel VIP. Lots of activities in the hotel to cook, learn, create and socialise. Paradise on earth.

Nice and quiet hotel, well located, choice of different pools or the beach, plenty of sun loungers (so no stress), good food in the open air, friendly staff.
Good location on the beach and on the edge of the holiday village of Platanias. A place with a nice and pleasant Greek bustle. Major pluses of the hotel are the super friendly staff and the order and cleanliness. The buffet, both in the morning and in the evening, is very spacious and good. Super!
For those who had to eat gluten-free, it was certainly not a problem. Everything was clearly marked, definitely recommended.

Minoa will always be my number one destination either for work related stay, or for vacation. This was the fifth time that I have visited Minoa Palace, but really the first time for vacation and I can say that I was thrilled. I already knew the level of professionalism and the high quality of the services and the staff already from the four previous times that I had visited the hotel, but it was a completely different experience being there as a guest. I was able to relax and enjoy my stay to the maximum. Once again, congratulations for keeping the standards so high, the staff so happy and the ambiance so unique.

Perfect hotel impeccable staff lovely and polite and welcoming .. the best choice for your vacation

This hotel is great if you want to hang out with a bunch of 60+ year old Eastern Europeans. They have zero high end amenities and kept trying to push us towards value options. Service is abysmal good luck ordering a second round at the bar. Our room had an excellent view of a really well lit Italian restaurant and a pool toy shop and the wonderful sounds of the busy road. If you are looking for an actual high end luxury resort this is not it. They are understaffed in every area and there is zero info about amenities listed anywhere I had to call the desk repeatedly. Spend the extra 50-100 and go somewhere else.

The price is rather expensive, but it seems to be a really good hotel.

First and foremost: the staff are really hard. The complex is clean and manageable (divided in the middle of a well-traveled road). If you look at the details of course find something to improve, but so are the Greek hotels. After a few years something would have to be done again. Pool in the southern part is right next to the street - exhaust and noise. The location is very good for those who do not just want to stay in the hotel. Shops, entertainment bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity (without being annoying!).

The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The food is great and the area was great. Around the hotel there are many supermarkets and souvenir shops. Directly in front of the hotel is a bus stop with which one in about 25 to 30 minutes in Chania is.

Amazing !!! Very big hotel and very nice. Free breakfast, free beach chairs and free towels. The free breakfast every morning is just perfect !!!

Super nice area with a nice beach section, excellent food, great selection both at breakfast and at dinner. Well maintained pool area and clean and spacious rooms, but partly already a bit getting old. The staff is there for the well-being of the guests endeavored and extremely friendly, we enjoyed our stay here very much!

MINOA PALAS IS IN THE 3 TOP HOTELS OF THE CHANIA PREFECTURE. BEAUTIFUL BUILDINGS, HEAVY ESTABLISHMENTS, MULTIPLE ACTIVITIES. EXTENDED THE RIGHT AND LEFT OF THE BEACH, WITH A BEAUTIFUL BRIDGE TO RUN FROM ONE HONOR TO THE OTHER. KNOWLEDGE OF THE CONFERENCES THAT ARE THERE. GENERAL HANSA HAVE A LOT OF HOTELS WITH CONFERENCE AREA. IN THE LESS THAT THE ONLY 7 MONTHS ARE OPEN AND NATURAL THE PRICES FOR A LITTLE !! IN VERY POSITIVE, STAFF WORKING ALREADY 10 AND 20 YEARS. THE PAYMENTS IN THIS HOTEL EXCEED ALL OTHER HOTELS. THAT OFFER THE SERVICE AND ANY OF THE COMPETENT SERVICES.

Beautiful place. The staff is very professional, provides great service. The food served at the two restaurants that are part of this resort is delicious. The breakfast buffet is amazing..the bar menu is versatile, and each oof the cocktails on the menu is unique in flavor and presentation..A+

Very nice hotel. Rooms are above average! Food is mediocre to good. The complex is absolutely well maintained, large and makes a great impression throughout. The gym is ok, a few more units would not hurt. Spa area + sauna are small but well maintained. The beach is visually not quite so nice (gravel!) I would definitely recommend it!
