First time I went there last year I thought it was fun but way too buggy. I went up therr this year for a golf trip and was super happy with everything. We got a great deal on a play and stay package and the course was in awesome shape. I loved the experience and I can't wait to come back up.

Attending a wedding at MN National... Hands down the best wedding meal I've ever had.... ties for the best food I've had eating out. This was exceptionally impressive given delays (no fault of the establishment) and the meal starting an hour and 45 minutes later than planned. Service and quality exceeded any and all expectations.

My Daughter & Son-in-Law had their wedding on September 23, 2017 at this beautiful venue!, the whole staff was very helpful. Special thank you to Tiffany for making everything go smooth! She was very helpful from the first day of meeting us to the cleanup the day after the wedding. I will definitely recommend this to everyone I know!!! Thank you again!

The course was in great condition & nicely manicured. The fairways were extremely soggy as they had received 3+ inches of rain the night before. A few holes had a tree in the middle of the fairways. The yardage system on the carts was irritating. It constantly beeped messages multiple times even after you had clicked that you received the message, & turned the volume all the way down. The clubhouse was spacious & very nice. Service level was excellent!

MN National is LEGIT!!! Absolutely love MN National. The work they have done to the course to improve it have made it a must play. They have taken out many trees that were green side or in the fairways which makes it so much more enjoyable. The greens are the best in the state. They role true and are lightning fast. The staff is absolutely amazing. They are very helpful and very kind. This is my new destination course. It's only 2 hours and 15 minutes from the Twin Cities.

Driving in I knew this was a special place. The setting, the clubhouse, just awesome.
I went in and was greeted right away. Dave and Nick were helpful and really enjoy their work at the golf course. James, the head pro, is super friendly and knows his stuff.
This is early season golf and I couldn t believe what great condition the course was in already. The fairways are spectacular and the greens are really really nice. In a couple more weeks when the leaves start coming out, this course will come to life.
If you are in or near the McGregor area and you love golf, you need to play this course. You won t be disappointed.

I golf here every summer, this place is great, the rates are exceptional for the pricless golf you get to play on a beautiful championship course, this course will challenge even the most skilled of players, from a laid back view high up on the lodges out reached deck, to a romantic candlelight dinner for that special someone, this course has it all, i strongly reccomend booking a weekend retreat at this hidden northland gem!

We had 16 in our group and the course was awesome for all levels of play. I would say those are the best greens I have been on in a long time. Everyone is nice and helpful and I suggested we go back next year. Although it is not a far drive from the north metro it is worth it to run up there for a day. If I lived near there I would try to play at least once a week. Thanks for accommodating our group.

Just brought our first group of golfers here for a weekend trip and was blown away. Have been to every other golf resort in Minnesota and the overall combo here of a) great course in immaculate condition, b) easy 2.5 hour drive up 65 from the Twin Cities, c) beautiful clubhouse with great food, d) great practice facility, e) unbelievable accommodations, f) affordability and g) friendly, relaxed and welcoming staff makes Minnesota National tough to beat. We will be back...OFTEN.

When there, try to stay in the executive cabin or townhomes - those places are nicer than the Parade of Homes.

Tip: Buy the superintendent a "thank you" beer - the course when we played on August 20 was in the best overall condition of any course we've EVER played. Their Ohio best sand bunkers and pure rolling greens put the icing on the cake of this gem of a layout.

Bottom Line: Try it. You'll probably add it to your "Top 5 favorite courses" list...we have.

Top notch course. Tournament quality. Beautiful condition. But horse and deer flies were horrid. I understand this was not common, it was a warm and wet summer. Also wish full-service restaurant was available all days of week. They only had full service 3 or 4 days per week.

This course kicked my backside today, but I still had a lot of fun. We played the 18 hole championship course. There were many challenges and good variety, no 2 holes felt the same. Only downfall, and reason for 4 stars, was many fairways were squishy and very soft. Made it a little tough to judge how to swing. If you were looking to get some backspin on your ball, sometimes you'll end up with a 14" long divot. Would absolutely love to play it again though and see if I could improve.

Our daughter and new son-in-law were married last weekend and the reception and dance were held at Minnesota National. The service was great and we had lots of compliments on the food as well! We had 300 people for the dinner and an additional 40+ for the dance - the dinner was served quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up in no time. We were very pleased with the whole evening! A big thank you to Tiffany, the bar tenders and the rest of the staff for making the night a success!

I ve know about Minnesota National Golf Course for a long time but never pulled the trigger to get up there and try it out. I joined the PCC this past spring and decided I had no reason not too any longer and I couldn t have been happier about doing so.

This quickly became one of my favorite courses.

The staff is friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. The course is immaculate. The tee boxes are perfectly flat and well maintained, fairways are lush, rough is thick but fair, and the greens roll like perfection.

I made the trip four more times after my initial trip up there, more than any other course up north. Bar none one of the hidden gems!

Oh, and arguably the greatest tee markers in all of golf. I liked them so much I purchased a couple of them from the club house!!
