As a customer, I found the resources on the website to be informative and helpful. I appreciated the variety of topics covered, including mental health education and tips for self-care. The organization's commitment to destigmatizing mental health and providing support is evident through their content. However, I did find the website layout to be a bit cluttered, which made it difficult to navigate at times. Streamlining the design and improving the user interface would enhance the overall experience. Nonetheless, the valuable information provided makes the website worth visiting for those seeking mental health resources.

About Minding your mind

Minding Your Mind: Changing Lives through Storytelling

Mental health is a critical aspect of our overall well-being, yet it remains one of the most stigmatized and misunderstood issues in society. Many people struggle with mental health challenges, but they often suffer in silence due to fear of judgment or lack of support. This is where Minding Your Mind comes in.

Minding Your Mind is a non-profit organization that aims to change lives through storytelling. Founded in 2007 by Steven and Jill Lefkowitz, the organization's mission is to reduce stigma and increase understanding around mental health issues by sharing personal stories and experiences.

At Minding Your Mind, we believe that storytelling has the power to transform lives. By sharing our stories, we can help others feel less alone and more empowered to seek help when they need it. Our team consists of trained speakers who have lived experience with mental health challenges themselves or have been impacted by someone close to them.

We offer a range of programs for schools, colleges, workplaces, and community organizations that are designed to educate and inspire audiences about mental health. Our signature program is called "In Our Own Voice," which features two speakers who share their personal journeys with mental illness and recovery.

Through this program, we aim to break down barriers between people who struggle with mental illness and those who do not understand it fully. We also offer workshops on topics such as stress management, suicide prevention, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse prevention among others.

Our programs are evidence-based; they are developed based on research findings from experts in the field of psychology so you can be sure you're getting accurate information from reliable sources.

We also provide resources for individuals seeking support for themselves or loved ones struggling with mental illness. These resources include links to local treatment providers as well as online tools such as self-assessment quizzes for depression or anxiety symptoms.

Our impact speaks volumes about our work; since its inception over 14 years ago Minding your mind has reached over 2 million people across America through its various programs including In Our Own Voice Program which has been delivered over 10 thousand times reaching more than half a million students across America!

In conclusion,

If you're looking for an organization that's making a real difference in the world today - look no further than Minding Your Mind! With their innovative approach towards reducing stigma around Mental Health Issues using storytelling techniques combined with evidence-based practices - there's no doubt this nonprofit will continue changing lives one story at a time!
