I love the theater and the plays are terrific. The actors are superb, and the place itself is clean, the staff is professional and nice. I love the experience. Thank you, Milwaukee Repertory Theater.
The caliber of the acting, directing and scene design T MKE Rep yields quality theater experience.
Long time subscriber. Love the multiple theaters, diverse shows and dinner theater in the Stackner. The prices are usually very reasonable and they have good quality shows.
Absolutely perfect. Love the stadium seating that makes sure there's not one bad seat in the house!
This is the best venue to see the most incredible plays, beside Broadway in New York City! We have been members for over 18 years. We look forward to seeing as many plays as possible that are running throughout the year. You can't put a price on fun! $
I went to my first play here. I like how they are trying to draw younger people out to plays, by offering discounts for my age group (20-35).
We saw Junk tonight. Excellent performance and a great play over all!!
Absolutely Fantastic Evening!!!
This was our first visit and we loved it. The show, "The Devil's Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith" was incredible. The Stackner Caberet was the perfect venue. The whole room was filled with sound. Definitely would go again.
Fine productions, acting, direction, scenery, costumes
The best theater experience available in Milwaukee. Great talent. Season tickets at reasonable prices. Variety of genres. Dinner theater. Bar available. Parking structure in facility. Just a great way to enjoy an evening alone or with friends!
Fabulous "Rep Lab" show written, produced, directed, and acted by the amazing Rep's Emerging Professionals. Our 7th year going to Rep Lab and every year just keeps getting more and more creative.
Very intimate setting to help audience get involved in the shows. Clean and comfortable seating area.
They are under remodeling right now for a new look. They should be looking Stellar this fall !!! come and see
Guys and dolls was amazing! I love the plays the rep puts on and the ticket prices for young adults is awesome!
The Repertory Theater is located inside the Milwaukee Center connected to the Intercontinental Hotel. It was once a power plant as the lettering in front of the building still reads "The Milwaukee Railway and Light Co."
Excellent place to go to see plays
The Stackner Restaurant and check out a play while there. Great Service.
Enjoyed the theatre.places to eat bar, convenience store.plenty hotels and places to eat.
This is the best professional theatre in Wisconsin! The quality of productions are top notch.
I love the Mileage Repertory Theater, i buy season tickets each year for all shows out of my tax refund (think of it as found money). Last week saw A Brilliant Thing, a play that gave me a rough nights sleep thinking about done things from my past but would still highly recommend seeing this play. Yesterday saw Ring of Fire, and it was just so enjoyable, a great ensemble cast that work so well together.
This was our first visit to see "Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley", and it was an excellent experience.
Black Pearl Sings was truly enjoyable and performed well.
I loved my experience at the rep. The play I saw was highly entertaining. I love the amenities from the bar to the plastic cups the theater gives you to take into the theater. What a great place!
Very good commercial venture! Not as daring as it once was,but very skillful story telling.
Phenomenal staff, venue, and of course "In the Heights" opening night!!!!
I love The Rep. The staff is wonderful, as friendly as it gets.
I have been to two shows at The Rep: "American Song" and "Disgraced." Both plays left me ruminating for weeks. I have felt that the theater tries to pick art that calls the audience to future action as much as inspires it.
I love the theater's educational programs. After "American Song," The Rep invited a community leader to present his experience on gun violence, which brought a new dimension to the show. After Disgraced, The Rep organized facilitated dialogues after the play to discuss with other people the topic of personal identity. Another great idea!
On top of that, their play guides are comprehensive and engaging.
I love the place.
Totally recommendable!
I am a Journeyman Carpenter. I was led there seeking a potential employer. This is a place that I would visit again to enjoy myself.
What an awesome experience!!!
This was a field trip for JTerm 6th, 7th and 8th grade class.
JJ and Abby are so fantastic.
We absolutely loved having them come to our MPS school and teaching us about theater.
Our tour of the Rep was so informative and fun. I hope other classes get to participate and learn about the Rep and theatre.
Thank you JJ and Abby it was a pleasure meeting both of you. Keep up the great work of inspiring young people about the Arts.

Forgetting to request disability access seating, we needed to change our seats ten minutes before the play started. Staff was wonderful, efficient, and kind. Seats were in the same section. The theatrical selections for the season are always enjoyable.
Had a wonderful time at 'In the Heights" here last night.
The Quadracci Powerhouse had great seats, excellent sound and lighting.
I only knocked off one star because the elevators after the show were a long wait and the parking isn't awesome.
I wish I could review the Stackner's food separately, because that deserves 5 stars. Definitely go try the Stackner Cabaret for a dinner before a show (or during a show...)
Great place.. Great performances... Ridiculously small hallways make getting around horrible.
Very moving presentation of the intricacies of family and life
Going for years now, never a disappointment, not even the plays shown here.
Quaint, intimate playhouse yet incredibly talented actors.
We have season tickets for 20!years in the front table of 8,we we're asked at intermission to stop talking about the songs , apparently by the cast.this is supposediy a caberat and the audience should partisapate.Very disappointing.End of season tickets?
Love this place. Three different theaters and a restaurant. There is underground parking. Plays range from musicals to plays relating to American history.
Another "masterpiece theatre" production from The Rep!
The staff are wonderful and the building is well maintained. The performances are consistently excellent.
Was traveling in Milwaukee for work and came here to see Guys and Dolls. The show was amazing. It was their preview night so you paid what you could, which was a nice surprise. I will say, I'm a pretty petite person but the seats down in the orchestra section are very tightly squeezed together and had almost no leg room.
Great selection of shows. Orchestra level had great leg room.
Had a great experience and the students and i learned so much
Junk was an excellent production. Wish I could have seen it again.
Went and saw Until the Flood. Loved it! Great performance and atmosphere.
Highly recommend The Rep! Any of the theaters are a great place to see a show.
.Saw 2 plays so far. Very inexpensive for the excellent plays. Not a bad seat in the house and they have a screen for captions. Excellent
Productions are always well done and professional. Many productions are thought provoking and they sometimes will give you an opportunity to discuss ones that are contraversial with others in a moderated setting. Always well chosen productions. Grest use of sets and costumes. All three venues are highly recommended.
Loved this place everyone was so accommodating and the food was fantastic.
Johnny Cash show was very well done. Cast was talented with multiple instruments
I have always liked the shows they put on. There is not one bad seat in the house.
Well chosen plays, top shelf casts, good seating, helpful friendly staff
Saw Christmas at Pemberley. Excellent. Sweet and funny. Great cast. Love going to the Rep!
Saw The Foreigner. Great show! We had a great time, and they give student discounts!
Watched the world premiere of "One House Over"- superb play exploring relationships and identity. Amazing acting, and wonderfully sized theater.
Great shows and some wonderful spaces. I highly recommend seeing something in the steamkey or cabaret!
We had dinner and attended a play at the Stackner Theater, one of three venues at the Milwaukee Rep. The Stackner facility has been newly remodeled to accommodate more patrons, but that has resulted in less space between tables so it's a bit more crowded than it had been. The dinners are generally good (with delicious desserts) and the performances are consistently excellent.
Great theater, good company I assume because the actors were great. So yeah if you're seeing a show here it should be awesome.
Milwaukee Repertory Theater: Igniting Positive Change through World-Class Theater Experiences
Milwaukee Repertory Theater, also known as Milwaukee Rep, is a non-profit theater company that has been entertaining and inspiring audiences for over 65 years. Founded in 1954, Milwaukee Rep has become one of the leading regional theaters in the United States, producing world-class theater experiences that entertain, provoke, and inspire meaningful dialogue among an audience representative of Milwaukee’s rich diversity.
At its core, Milwaukee Rep is committed to igniting positive change in the cultural, social, and economic vitality of its community. Through its productions and outreach programs, Milwaukee Rep seeks to create a more inclusive society where everyone feels valued and heard. The theater's mission is to use the power of storytelling to bring people together and foster empathy and understanding.
Milwaukee Rep produces a wide range of plays each season - from classic dramas to contemporary comedies - with an emphasis on new works that reflect the diverse voices of our time. The company's artistic director Mark Clements leads a team of talented artists who work tirelessly to bring these stories to life on stage.
One thing that sets Milwaukee Rep apart from other theaters is its commitment to engaging with its audience beyond just the performance itself. The theater offers pre-show talks where patrons can learn more about the play they are about to see or engage in post-show discussions where they can share their thoughts with fellow audience members.
In addition to producing high-quality theater experiences for adults, Milwaukee Rep also offers educational programming for young people through its Education Department. These programs include student matinees where school groups can attend performances during school hours at discounted rates as well as workshops led by professional actors and directors.
Another way that Milwaukee Rep engages with its community is through partnerships with local organizations such as schools, libraries, and community centers. These partnerships allow the theater company to reach audiences who might not otherwise have access or exposure to live theater.
Milwaukee Rep has received numerous awards over the years for both artistic excellence and community engagement. In 2019 alone it was awarded three prestigious Tony Awards including Best Regional Theater - a testament not only to their exceptional productions but also their commitment towards making positive change within their community.
