Millwood Designer Homes Review

Nice designs, poorly executed. Problems not rectified to the standards they advertise and many issues still unresolved.
Can't understand where their advertised 100% customer satisfaction reviews come from. Several months post completion and I'm still waiting for someone to contact me to give a review. I've owned many new builds bought off plan before this one. So far as build quality and customer satisfaction go they rate the worst.

Note good reviews are 2 years old. Not so good anymore. They get RMG on board as managing agents. They are nothing short of crooks.
If you are thinking of buying a millwood home and your managing company is contracted to RMG then don't buy.

Visited Ewhurst site . Houses were poor quality and over priced. Rooms were smaller then other new homes in the local area. Gardens are tiny. Very disappointing. :-(

Visited The Vale at weekend and have to say Millwood have done it again what a stunningly beautiful development this is.

Let's keep this simple... There are 'new builds' and then there are Millwood new builds. These guys understand architecture, build quality and premier service in equal measure. Their choices of materials, finishes and their thoughts about how spaces are used is phenomenal in the context of the ordinary expectations we have come to have of Britain's major house builders. MIllwood win award after award for good reason.

Of course there will be snags and occasional errors in any major complex transaction where hundreds of trades are being deployed but they always do their best to put things right when things do go wrong. Anyway - we could all moan about what goes wrong... but to be honest 99%+ has gone right. I have found that if you treat people with respect and are clear in communications then the service team have been action oriented and largely very reliable for us. Like in many customer service circumstances, persistence is often key in ensuring clarity of outcome that you are looking for.

Paul, Adam and Angie are worth special mention in cust. serv., Howard as Site Manager was enormously helpful and of course the Tessa and Brenda double act can move mountains to help you get the most from what is always a challenging stressful moment; buying a new home. From my 30 years in business, I feel I can spot a company that has teamwork at the heart of their operation and a sense of a leader of that team who is inspired in their vision for what great houses could be.

The main thing to say is that they create homes not just houses. They create an environment where - if you love where you live and are prepared to act as a community - can be a wonderful experience. My husband and I spent every penny we had with this company - and they have repaid us with the most amazing designed home imaginable for the budget we had and they are in locations that everyone really wants. Best by a country mile in the house building world.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending MDH to people looking to make the biggest move of their lives. When it matters Millwood get it just right.

Love the variety and quality of the house designs that Millwood build on their developments that give them real character and individuality. We have been in our new Millwood house for 2 months and we love it !

Ii am 80 years old ,my husband is 79 ,we both feel the cold, a mistake was made when our bathroom window fitted, ie,twisted frame to opening light, means window inpossable to close,'manager said he would have a look but never came,over 10 years now,
