I would give their psychiatry department no stars ...
I would give their psychiatry department no stars if possible. My therapist Leanne is very caring and nice, but unfortunately she can't run the entire company on her own. I waited months for a psych appointment and the first psychiatrist I was given, Ann, was very judgemental and dismissive and said if the 1 medication she was prescribing me didn't work, she wasn't giving me anything else. I asked if I can speak with another psychiatrist at Millhill for a second opinion and Ann said no and I can just go somewhere else if I don't agree with her, but I wouldn't be permitted to speak to another psychiatrist at Millhill. The medication ended up giving me bad side effects and I found out from my therapist that I could request a different psychiatrist at Millhill, despite the lies Ann told me. Then I spoke with a clinical coordinator (not sure what his exact title was) named Ian who offered me an appointment to speak with another psychiatrist if I didn't want Judgemental Ann, but I'd have to wait almost a month for this replacement appointment, all while not having any new medication prescribed. Apparently the policy at Millhill is that even if they choose to employ rude psychiatrists that patients don't want to work with, patients can't be easily switched to any other psychiatrist unless they want to wait almost as long as a new patient waits for a first time psych appointment. Meanwhile, we're supposed to just not get any medication in the interim. I've been to psychiatrists in CA, FL, and WA, but Millhill is the first organization that automatically assumed I was just looking for drugs even though I have well-documented mental health struggles. Don't waste your time bothering with Millhill's phony psychiatry department. The way they brushed me aside and treated me like I was the problem made me more suicidal than any company has ever made me. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Millhill so please do yourself a favor and don't bother with their "psychiatrists".
