Beautiful venue but terrible service! I got married here in July 2017. Of all my wedding vendors, this one stressed me out the most. This is a more expensive wedding venue, and for the amount we paid we feel we did not get the service we deserved. Coordinators not responding to emails, no one at the venue ever picks up the phone, cancelling meetings at the last minute. Whenever I had a question, both myself and my wedding planner would have to repeatedly email and call to get an answer. For example I asked for a copy of the floor plan and it took about 2 months for them to finally send it to me after repeatedly emailing and calling. I also had to get a SOP to get alcohol for our event and asked them to send me the needed letters and forms, that took months as well. Service/communication finally got better after I emailed the manager to complain, but let's be honest it only got A LITTLE bit better. Thank God I hired my own wedding coordinator to make sure that everything ran smoothly at our wedding because I know they would not have been able to pull it off the way I planned. This place is definitely not worth the money and the stress. For any brides out there, I suggest you look for your wedding venue elsewhere.
I attended the wedding planner luncheon in january and was so impressed! This venue is beautiful for a wedding or event. They have a tent that can accomodate 220 guests and rooms inside for cocktail reception, bridal suite, vendor room and more. The venue is over 100 years old and and exclusive event venue. 1 event a day so your not sharing the space. Lots of different options for onsite photos inside and outside. The 2 venue coordinators Myra and Jennifer only aim to please. Their attention to detail and their customer service is 2nd to none. Food catered by daniel et daniel was so delicious and plated beautifully. Love this venue ! So unique!!
Absolutely gorgeous venue and wonderful staff! My guests loved the whole feel of the space and its tucked away surroundings, and I truly wouldn t have been able to host this without the involvement and event support of the Miller Lash House team. They made things so easy for me. On the day of, I felt comfortable and confident enough of their planning that I just sat back and enjoyed my daughter s baptism. Hopefully I will get to throw other events here in the future!
Went with the UofT Mississauga XC team. Amazing grounds. The house itself was a little basic, was expecting something. Abut more like Lyslehurst at UTM. Definitely see why people like it here. Definitely off the beaten path and worth a walk in fall!
Do you want an all in one venue? then this is the place. Great location for indoor and outdoor photos, the food and staff fantastic and a backup rain option too.
Beautiful venue and atmosphere but terrible food and service. Was here for an evening of music and the dinner and service were not good. Way over priced for the sad pitiful "House Made Burger" which was definitely not house made.
Was also here for a wedding years ago and it was lovely.
Beautiful ambiance and grounds but the kitchen and front of house need some work.
I would highly recommend Miller Lash House. This venue is absolutely breathtaking! The lush evergreens, as the backdrop of our outdoor ceremony, was gorgeous. There is plenty of outdoor space to capture the most beautiful photos. Inside the tent was like a blank canvas that allowed us to bring our wedding vision to life. I had a wonderful experience working with Jennifer. She made the planning process easy and enjoyable! It was a perfect day :)
Beautiful grounds to walk through, especially in the summertime. It looks like a dream. It s a perfect space for small sized events.
