Mill Falls at the Lake Reviews

Mill falls at the lake is just okay. The pool is small, and the hot tub is very tiny. It is just a regular hotel. The rooms are pretty small, and don't have kitchens at all. The only form of a kitchen they have is a mini fridge which is under the TV. It is also very hard to check in and you have to drive to the other hotel across the street just to check into this one. If you wanted to stay at a hotel in Meredith you can stay at this one if you want, but if I were you I would maybe stay in a different hotel if you want something better than just fine.

Very good location right across the street from the lakeshore, staff are very friendly, room was clean and tidy, furniture is decent, sofa bed looked brand new. Check-in is at a different site nearby, there s no front desk, the air-conditioning in the room was suboptimal to say the least, there is no breakfast option inside the inn but many great options within walking distance, and there s a pizza place in the same building which was convenient. I tried calling the activity center multiple times but no answer, when I went there in person they said all the kayaks were booked, so we ended up taking a canoe instead.

Great location clean staff was more then friendly and accommodating from the time I arrived. Price was very fair my only complaint was the room had a fridge but no microwave. Just thought that was strange but would absolutely return

We got married at Church Landing at Mills Falls in October 2020, and I cannot say enough good things about the venue and staff! The venue is stunning and the atmosphere speaks for itself, but the staff really sealed the deal for us. The level of service and attention to detail in the first visit was impeccable, and it only got better from there. The staff catered to us through the whole process and made the day stress free, providing us time to ourselves, ensuring we ate, and keeping us on time. They were incredibly accommodating, impressively flexible, and detail oriented. We did our rehearsal dinner and welcome event here, too, because they made it so easy! Our guests still talk about the food, the great service, and the beautiful venue.

Horrible customer service, horrible views, horrible value.

Don't let this place fool you with the impressive views. Those are the rooms with the $400 rates (king rooms, suites). When you book the cheaper option "queen room", you are put at a DIFFERENT LOCATION up the road.

The confirmation had the check in address at the better lake view location so I though everything was correct. When I arrived and they told me I was up the road, I asked to switch rooms and offered the pay the difference in fees to do so. Though there was a lot of vacancy, they told me I would need to pay a $180 cancellation fee, the price of the room I booked online, and rebook the full fee of the new room.

These people are professional scam artists who lure you in and essentially take your money hostage ahead of your arrival.

If you like cleaning your own room for 3 days and getting your own towels out of the closet and not having a front desk than its fun spending a 1000 dollars

Nice relaxing place to visit. The candy store is fun, the sculptures are interesting.

My husband and I got married at Mill Falls at the Lake on 12.5.2020. We had booked our wedding long before the pandemic began (December 2019), and although so much changed throughout the wedding planning process, we are so pleased with how everything turned out on our special day! While our original coordinator lost her job due to the pandemic (Erin Curry, we love you!), Rachael Boisvert took great care of us and worked extremely hard to give us the best day ever. The staff was very kind and accommodating during our entire stay for our wedding weekend. Everything was very clean and we felt safe, which was very important for us and our guests. While our day was very different from what we envisioned, we had a wonderful time and so did our guests; they are still talking about it! Thank you, Rachael, and the Mill Falls staff for keeping us safe and healthy and giving us the wedding of our dreams, even with unique circumstances. We can't wait to return for many anniversaries to come and share Mill Falls with our growing family for a lifetime.

At first I wasnt impressed at all with the room me my bf, son and my cousin and her baby were given but I called down about paying for a big room and they gave us a room I was actually excited to be in. Only thing I was disappointed that they weren't holding any yoga classes anymore :/
But still an awesome place to spend time with my family on my birthday <3
