A very pleasant hotel with great staff and good location

In summer or winter, the Millennium Hotel terrace always attracts me. In the winter there are warm blankets and heaters. For continents and more than necessary to sit outdoors. The view is always beautiful.

Kudos to the booking department, Ms. Petra, the hotel staff, the accommodation and the varied and deliciously prepared food!
The only complaint was when I left when I told the reception staff (with longer blonde hair) that I would replace your gray umbrella with a logo for another because it could not be tied, she told me I had to return it, and I got it the day before at the entrance from Your staff who mentioned that they can keep it ... I was very unpleasantly surprised!

We stayed at the Magnolia hotel, which is part of Amadria Park, but not up-to-par with their other hotels on the property (i.e. beware it is not the hotel you see in pictures on the website).

A really lovely hotel, first class. The staff are brilliant , only too pleased to assist. The dining room is exceptional. The buffet style meals are 5star. The quality of food brilliant! Chef Andrew (Mr Grill) will give you freshly caught fish or meat cooked in front of you to your taste. Then Marco or maybe Djanek will serve your wine or just water then clear. The reception staff are amazing too, Phillipe is very polite and helpful with a great smile. The views from the hotel are magnificent looking out over the Adriatic Sea to the islands of Krk and Cres. The room was really modern and always cleaned. My wife and I was on the third floor so we looked up to the buildings behind us. Not too close tho. I would recommend requesting a room with a sea view as it is quite spectacular. I was very happy with my room and view as we went on guided tours every day. My only gripe was for me the bed was far too soft! For me this is my number one hotel ever (so far). A brilliant hotel and great staff. I would stay again.

Old nice hotel. Stayed here two nights, family two adults two children, 11 o 14. The bedroom for adults was good, the children slept in a sofa bed which was not completely optimal.
AC worked like that, the first night not good at all, then they fixed it and it got better but not satisfactory. AC centrally controlled so you could not regulate it yourself.
The breakfast was great - there was everything to choose from - fantastic omelettes, nice pancakes, good bread and filter coffee. Took a long time to eat through a fraction. The breakfast is clearly 5 , but the AC problem and the sofa bed lowers the rating and that they did not compensate us for it. Parking in the garage top, but as old garage is, crowded. Quite expensive also 16 / day. Hotel location very good.

Wonderful breakfast, perfect location, excellent and courteous service. Too bad for the paid parking, the spa not included in the price of our room and for the room not yet renovated. Altogether 4 stars.

Super friendly staff great location great buffet right on the beach is recommended

Upon arrival in front of the hotel, located in a closed street, the porter welcomes us with the brass trolley for the suitcases, in front there is a garage on the roof which costs 16 per day obviously there is no space outside .. We arrive late in the morning at the around 13.00 .. they tell us that we have to wait for the room to be fixed which will be ready by 15.00 and then we can check in .. We finally arrive in a very spacious room without terrace but with sea view from the window (the bed double is spacious and single mattress (not two mattresses joined together).
The bathroom is in the room, but without bidet and window, the bathrobe hangers are at the top of the toilet side I think the room is well finished with a mirror above the headboard with lights everywhere in the room .. the mini bar it is well stocked but the refrigeration does not work
The swimming pool inside and outside is not very large or deep but you can relax and sunbathe outside in a terrace among the plants. Always inside the pool there is a spa.
X The SPA has a supplement, for 3 hours it costs 90 kn about 12. To reach it you can only reach it by a staircase while for people with wheelchairs it is not really accessible and in the SPA there is no toilet; you have to go back upstairs.
The SPA includes 2 jacuzzis and a Roman, Turkish bath and sauna 3 rooms dedicated to massage and a gym. There are several beds, even double beds, with a corner dedicated to relaxation with herbal tea and fresh water from which you can draw. Still inside the spa, on a poolside, the mortars on the ceiling are peeling off and snow on the plants and the pool.
The buffet breakfast is excellent there is everything and the salami is the same as the Italian one
On some days the restaurant is used as a conference room so it is not always accessible to hotel guests. The staff is kind.

Opatija is also beautiful under the January sun - In addition, quiet and relaxing - If you really want to be pampered, appreciate a fine kitchen and pastry white is in the * * * * * star Hotel Milenij in good hands.

There is still much work to be done to improve the quality of the service. Everything is more or less in the office, but some things should be improved, for example ... better restaurant staff, better beds in rooms etc.

We booked a room at the Milenji but were rebooked to the Grand Hotel. As we were only staying for one night, this was very inconvenient for us. Also the service of the Milenji in this matter was not good. The receptionist tried to make us believe that the rebooking was an upgrade which it was actually not. The Grand Hotel is a four star hotel and the so-called suite which was offered to us was actually very small and had no balcony. Only after telling the receptionist at the Grand Hotel that we had booked a room with balcony at the Milenji such a room was offered to us.

One of the best hotels in Opatija. Be sure to visit it.

NEVER AGAIN!

- The bathroom was yellowed
- The air conditioning rattles constantly
- The phone didn't work
- There were rotten fruits in the room
- The check-in was extremely tedious and took a long time
- And the lunch buffet for 200kn per person is way too much for this poor quality -> You don't want to respond to feedback.

Keep your hands off this hotel! There are a lot of better houses in Opatija!

The $ 150 kn for 3 coffees and 3 packs does not justify the level of service that Millennium now offers and an inexperienced waiter who does not know how to remove chairs in front of the guest, a poor offer of only 4 types of pickets ... Since you do not have a qualified workforce for this season, how did you justify the rise in prices ??

Villa Royal - room with a view for a pleasant stay in Opatija

Superior hotel Milenij in Opatija. It is located in the center of Opatija along the main road and has a beautiful sea view .The hotel has a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and the beach. Confectionery in the hotel offers a large selection of cakes and ice cream . The rooms are very nice and everything is to be commended. The food is great and varied There is always plenty of fruit
The staff is very friendly. The pool is great.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Visit terrace with sea view and lobby bar for a drink. Hotel is on waterfront so use it for a walk on Lungo mate path.

The hotel is in a good location. Furthermore, the staff was very helpful and friendly, but that can not improve the condition of the rooms. The rooms are just getting old, the tv's are outdated. You can park next to the hotel in a parking garage (day ticket 16 euros). There is a small beach at the hotel (1 couch costs 15 euros a day). All in one I would have expected a nicer room / general for such a price.

03/03/2019. After I got caught up in Opatija, I went to the prestigious place of the nightmare because the time was a mascara. On my side I got hard as a stone, greasy, cold, old, unmanageable donut. I told the waiter, and he said coldly, but he paid the same. Shame!

Good value for money but the staff seems tired. Too bad there is no live music like there used to be in the lobby.

Hotel Amadria Park Grand I have visited several times. I experienced it before reconstruction as well as after reconstruction. I have always had the opportunity to live in the same room so I can very clearly compare the difference between old and new design. I must admit that the hotel has already required reconstruction and its new version is really successful. Very stylishly processed color scheme room, materials and bathroom. I believe that the hotel will soon see the renovation of its exterior, which compared to the surrounding hotels slightly ugly visual coast.The staff approach is very polite and helpful. The hotel has an employee who is willing to park your vehicle, bring your luggage to your room and, if necessary, help you to see what you can see around the hotel and in Opatija.
The problem was to call sometimes at the reception where no one answered the phone. I would also recommend the hotel to focus more on the cleaning service (unfortunately I found empty bottles of drinks in the refrigerator during my visit) and not a very tidy bathroom and toilet. However, I have to commend the speed of the axle (aprx. 15 min.) after reporting this fact. Breakfast is international and really rich. From a huge selection of fruits, cheese, ham, bread, the hotel offers its own "home made" honey made on honey plates, eggs upon request and a wide range of sweets. It is also a very nice addition to serving champagne for breakfast (all incl).Dinners are equally varied, usually around 3-5 meals (pasta, meat, fish) ... food quality has always been very good. The hotel regularly proved the food. However, I would recommend to hotel to extend breakfast eg. until 10:30 am or 11:00 am, as they are currently only until 10:00am which at the time of vacation, when you wants to sleep and stay in bed, forcing you to get up. I would also recommend the hotel to improve communication between the hotel reception and the restaurant, because if you are interested in the table reservation, it is necessary to contact the staff of the restaurant, unfortunately personally happened to me several times that my request was not delivered to the right person-restaurant manager) and the reservation was lost. Personally, I would appreciate if all such operations were done through one place and through the hotel reception. The hotel staff has always been very kind and helpful, but I strongly recommend the hotel to work on the language skills of the rest of the staff (such as people in the restaurant and cleaning services - as sometimes it is difficult for them to understand what the guest requests).The hotel has its own parking house with many parking places for hotel guests.The hotel has a private beach directly below the hotel and a number of umbrellas and sun loungers that the hotel guest can book (at a better price) (by the way it is one of a few hotels with its own beach in front of the hotel and probably the only hotel in Opatija has a beach with a classic and pleasant entry into the sea, because the rocks on the entire coast of Opatija are very complicated to access the sea.)
However, as the hotel staff is different at the hotel and at the Beach Royal beach, I have again encountered the same problem as with a restaurant when making a reservation and therefore again recommend that these guest requests be addressed solely through the reception, as this creates chaos and lost of information the guest has to deal with staff and runs among the staff of the hotel, who each claim their own and the truth is somewhere ....
Lastly, I would recommend potential clients to check the occupancy of the hotel before their stay, as the hotel sometimes occupies all of its rooms for an event (I was lucky at the World Championship BRIDGE event, which was about 200 kids and this mass when it came to the restaurant .. crazy) , you did not hear your own words, and waiting time for food was 30min horror).However, I can definitely recommend hotel as one of the best hotel in Opatija.

This hotel is located in Kvarner Bay, the Adriatic Sea, which is famous as a resort.
The hotel is old and the rooms are inconvenient, but since it is located on the beach, you can enjoy various water activities, and you can enjoy walking on the beautiful beach.

The stay was extremely pleasant. The location of the hotel and the view from the room / from the balcony of the sunrises and sunsets are perfect for all those who come to relax. The rooms are extremely comfortably furnished, neat and clean, a perfect combination of modern and traditional. The breakfast and dinner offers are very rich. The wellness oasis was our favorite part of the visit, we really care that it is an oasis of peace and quiet for complete relaxation. The hotel staff definitely contributes the most to a pleasant stay, available for any question with great advice on what is worth visiting nearby, maximally friendly and cheerful, with a sincere interest in the stay and the needs of guests. Special compliments to Messrs. Predrag and Mata and Mrs. Ana-Marija and Lucija for their diligence, professionalism and signs of attention. We are definitely coming again!
