We are a family with 3 children we asked for 2 adjoining rooms and got them with sea and bay views. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is located on the boardwalk. Parking is available at the hotel at a surcharge of EUR 16 per day.

The hotel is excellent, the rooms are modernly renovated, the hotel beach is beautiful, clean and tidy, the hotel staff is extremely friendly. The food in the restaurant is great

For coffe or tea with friends or kids, for a snack, for a great view of the Kvarner Bay, an excellent place, with a terrace (Kont) in the upper part and a balcony in the lower hotel.

I stayed in amadria park - Opatija with 8 friends. It was a nice stay cause the own pool at the see is lovely and the service was also quite well. I also liked the breakfast there is a Lady who made us fresh eggs very day.

But what makes me really unhappy was the junior suit we booked. It was a really old room with a bad smell. We had the chance to switch rooms with the argument that the rooms of our friends where much better. Then the discussion about the pricing begans. Our friends payed between 150-179(See view) for theirs rooms and We payed 275 . After we asked it what realation the pricing is made. They only answers that s the price of the room .
For me that doesn t felt fair. And that s also the reason I would not recommend the hotel. In my opinion every guest should be treated the same way

Excellent hotel by the sea and in the center of Optia. Large and clean rooms, excellent service and an amazing and rich breakfast. The hotel has a private beach and a huge pool. Also spa and other services. highly recommend

Nice hotel, professional staff in a great place. The advantage is the possibility of parking (for 16 per night), which is one of the cheaper in Opatija. The beach with its own sunbeds is also positive, although it is significantly more expensive compared to the surroundings.
As for the hotel itself, the standard 4 *, the room quiet air conditioning and breakfast relatively reasonable. Personally, I would take a much greater variety of food on offer, because after a week, people no longer think of combinations that they have not yet tasted.

I have spent the greatest 30 days ever in Europe. Standing by the mediterranean, it has a great service, the food is tipically from the region. A very diverse group of guest, from all over the world. A great congress center and of course a nice balcony where tables are set for a good coffee, a beer or a tasty cup of wine!

Receptionist returns 30kuna for parking in coins, and ofc I had to go back cause he didnt give me enough and he had the rest in his pocket. Very shady.

Super bedroom, very large bed, very clean, spacious bathroom, balcony with beautiful sea view. I will definitely be back.

The hotel doesn't deserve four stars, more like two. Worst thing I've ever been to, starting with the bathroom ... shower? We left early ... Pure rip-off without performance ... Oh yes, what can I say, no free beach chairs for hotel guests although these are not occupied, but were reserved the day before. I can put my towel on it right away ... Only then you have to pay dearly. We gave the rest to us at breakfast .. "greasy plates, coffee like a broth and the service ..... It doesn't matter, we only stayed 3 days instead of paying 7 .. We don't clean either. Make a difference ..

Very nice and good buffet. Pay for the hotel parking, because those of the liburnija parking d.o.o. expect the slightest mistake, to impose fines of hundreds of euros. :(

Very friendly staff. Rooms large, with the charm of a Austro-Hungarian ranch. Accessibility and connectivity of villas is less favorable. Especially since it was raining during my stay. I was not impressed that you need an umbrella to go to breakfast ...

The hotel is in a good location. The interior is well arranged. The garden is full of beautiful flowers. They have good ice cream and cookies. When I'm on the trip I'm happy to come by the coffee. The only complaint is that it is too expensive.

The hotel staff is 5 stars, the rooms are a bit outdated and it would be good to renovate a bit.

Entrance to the room is after 3 pm and exit and rooms at 11. staff not interested ... the hotel should ventilate and wash the carpet..furniture because it has an unpleasant smell of the rooms ... the rest is ok

Large, neat and magnificent hotel, a room overlooking the Opatija Riviera is a real hit, and a hearty breakfast is a good start to the day :)

Worst experience I ever had. I stayed at the hotel where everything was ok - at the check out they charged my card and gave me a receipt. However, they are having a huge chaos with their accounting as they charged me or not (who knows) and then charged me 13 months later without ANY excuse or explanations. When I called them to ask - no excuses, no explanations nothing. Just this is how they operate. HUGE no no when it comes to customer service. Worst of its kind. When you check out make sure to check on your receipt as they may double charge you!

Everything was fine except for the central air conditioning.

It was the worst experience I could have in a hotel and I communicated that openly at the reception when I checked out. I have already emailed the pictures of room 601 to the management. I look forward to the reaction.

My company and I recently stayed at the hotel for a week. We wanted to have a really relaxed vacation again and we had it! The room we had was a normal double room but with a balcony and a sea view, and that was heaven. But what I liked best was the staff. People really tried hard to make a good impression and they did. The great thing too was the breakfast. There is everything your heart desires, from fruit, vegetables and meat to yoghurts, muesli, a huge selection of bread and pancakes with sweet fillings. Most of the time we spent the day at the sea (where there is direct access and also a somewhat more protected environment), which was very nice for swimming. Just a little bit of information for new guests - the loungers or four-poster beds by the sea must be paid for ( 40 four-poster bed for 2 people or 15 per lounger with a parasol). There is also a free pool, which we didn't use because the weather was always great and the cost of the loungers was within a measurable range for us. So I'll say it right away: We'll be back!

I was in this hotel in early September and I was very satisfied.Beautiful hotel, soberly furnished rooms, clean bathroom, air conditioning.Both the breakfast buffet, that one for dinner was very rich and the food excellent, the attentive and attentive staff. Hotel in a great location but in urgent need of renovation. It is terribly hot in the rooms, and it is not possible to adjust the temperature, etc.

Great Hotel. Spacious rooms, good cleanliness, good restaurant (some difficulties for mineral water for a fee) and abundant breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Optimal and central location. Many rooms with sea view.

I booked it as Astoria Grand Hotel but found it just by the chance ,no Reception on the building and it is without any Sign located next building on the street. Hotel building labeled as Continental , as well as in rooms there is no mention of Astoria Grand Hotel but just Grand hotel or Continental hotel. The room without window but a slot with a bar over the roofs, most pity there is no chance to close the light from but just put a bad sheet over ! On the key to the room no mention or pocket with the name of the hotel and address. I was sleeping bad because it is not a twin bad and so bad mattress with only one suitable pillow, 2 others just the bags with plastic balls :( Only is good is the breakfast So if you are not intended to sleep it is a good choice of the hotel !

Beautiful terrace, very good live music, the service is under every criticism and reminiscent of the former Eastern Bloc .... first you wait an eternity that you can order and then it takes some primal differences to finally get your glass of wine. Used a garage ... What a desperate garage ... A maze to get up there ... Half a door closed ... A living despair ... The second star was just because it couldn't be parked anywhere ....

In itself a good hotel. We got a room in the adjoining Villa Royal, nicely sized and renovated not too long ago. Nice pool and cozy terrace. Beautiful location with a view of the sea and the harbor. Breakfast is good too. It's just a pity that you can't eat a la carte in the evening, only buffet. But in the area there is more than enough choice of all kinds of restaurants

Especially with hotels in this price range, one naturally tends to be a little "overly critical" ... and yes ... at the very end I will do it too BUT: professionally managed, professional staff ... from reception to room service ... great, well-kept ambience ... very nice rooms with a DREAMY view ... perfect location ... absolute comfortable atmosphere ... if you want to find something to complain about here, you need a magnifying glass !!

Friendly staff, clean rooms with balconies, comforts on the whiskey, indoor pool and outdoor virpool, fruit and drink with natural flavors in the swimming pool and sauna-turkey + Finnish 105 degrees, heated chairs. Breakfast with breakfast is also worth the price, but there is no shortage of champagne, naturally squeezed juices, eggs and pancakes on request, caviar, smoked salmon, baked berry in your hair, baked goods in the beautiful dining room with crystal chandeliers, sea and girl view with a seagull .... great

The Camelia and Royal buildings overlook the sea. The rooms with a view and balcony are large. Outstanding breakfast. Varied buffet in the evening. Always courteous staff. They also speak Italian. Pool and Spa. This is the third time I have come and I recommend it.

Very good hotel, Staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean, well equipped and spacious enough. The bathroom is well equipped and large enough. They have their own parking space, which is unfortunately payable. Especially I liked live music at breakfast and dinner.
