Excellent butchershop and little grocery store. Quality meat, great sandwiches, great prepared sides and excellent fish selection. They also have a number of items in their store that are exclusive to the store. Absolutely recommend!
Mikes has a great selection of Meats along with dips and stuffed potatoes! Definitely try the Queso Dip, it's to die for!
This place is amazing we go there almost every other day always on summer BBQ weekends my favorite treat. I am so going to miss it once we move but I will drive down on weekends still to get it.

Best place for meats and sundry high end food items. Has prepared foods and deli items. My one stop when I want to make a great meal. Expert butchers and knowledgeable and helpful staff. Not cheap but quality seldom comes cheaply.
Great farmers market, lots of parking, good mix of vendors. Fresh coffee, handmade candles, popcorn, several produce vendors. Vendors are all very friendly and have a good selection of products.

This is probably the best place to buy great quality meats. There are quite a few grocery stores in the immediate area but none come close to the quality and service that Mike's has. I'm on a mission to try all the different bbq sauces and rubs that they carry as well.
Normally have a great experience here but went there for polish sausage for Easter. When opening package it is labeled polish sausage but when cooking and tasting this is definitely bratwurst. Disappointed.
Have been looking for a wonderful Deli in the area and this is it! Everything looks so great and I was picking up st. Patrick's Day corned beef and cabbage and potatoes. And I said it was my first time in and the deli guy behind the counter heard me say that and gave me a free chili con queso dip! I will be back plenty in the upcoming weeks

This is an awesome fresh market. Butcher's bar always look fresh, service is quick and courteous. Stocks a good supply of healthy options. I put this small neighborhood store on par with Pete's and Whole Foods but within walking distance so obviously my first choice when I need fresh ingredients.
So my husband and I went to get a steak to celebrate our anniversary my husband picked a bone in rib-eye and I got a porterhouse . We don t usually go to mikes but we heard so much about it we wanted something good. Well I have to say I haven t tasted this flavor and quality in years !!!! I was so tender and the taste was what I remember as a young lady when my uncle worked for swift and company. My husband also said the same thing about his !!! We will be back to treat our family for the holidays !!!! Thank you villapark for such a great quality place!!!! Keep up the great work mikes
Ordering meat was so simple and handled so well, especially considering the circumstances with the pandemic. The beef tenderloin I bought looks absolutely incredible. This place is awesome!
This place is awesome! Their meats are high quality and they have pre marinated options for those that are in a hurry. If you get anything get the red skinned potato salad, hands down the best I have had!

Mike's Meats has better quality meat than you could get at a regular grocery store, like Jewel, etc. They have a small selection of fresh vegetables and canned goods and box Goods like pasta and rice as well as some frozen unusual items such as bison burgers and ground lamb Etc.
I found the quality always superior to anything I can get at a regular grocery store and they can even order specialty items for you like capons and even sides of beef if you wish. We usually get our capon and our beef tenderloin for Christmas dinner here, virtually every year.
They have a great deli section with high quality cold meats, salads, prepared vegetables, side dishes and many things you would never find at a regular grocery store.
The prices are a bit higher than a chain grocery store like Jewel, but the quality is so great and the people there are so polite and kind and helpful that it's worth a few extra penmies per product.
Meats r very fresh. Produce is very good. The help is very friendly.
ABSOLUTE best chicken in the area don't know if it's kosher but it sure does taste like it.. highly recommend Mike's Market..

Best meat around. Clean and friendly with a quality selection of meat and deli products. They cost more than Jewel but you taste the difference. I only get meat from Mike s. It is worth the extra stop. Also suggest the fresh sandwiches. Order in advance as they can take awhile for them to make. Especially if the deli is busy but they are tasty.

Mikes meat market is our go-to place for everything from sub sandwiches to burgers for the grill. Everything is absolutely delicious! A personal favorite is their queso dip for chips and their American sub. The service is incredibley genuine and I am happy to support this small business any day.

Just because one is not a regular and is of color does not mean you should stare. I felt so uncomfortable being looked at hard by the employees behind the counter as if I was a germ or did not belong. The staring was extreme.
Well since my dad is the owner, we have dinner from here just about every night. I recommend getting the smoked pork chops
My son had the "best steak I've ever eaten in my life!!" It was from Mike's Deli. God Bless them. My son is now restricted to one portion of beef every six weeks because of iron in his blood. And I go to Mike's everytime.

Mike's meat market in villa park is truly an amazing place. The staff, the service, the quality, the atmosphere is all top notch. Staff is always willing to answer all your questions and make sure you leave with with the right product. I also have to mention that they have the best chicken breasts money can buy. Social Distancing does not exist at this store. Floor is taped off but ignored. People march and back forth looking at case. No way they stay 6 feet apart. It is physically impossible.
Owner needs to limit number of people in store at one time. Extend hours if it impacts business.
Give people a number to enter and use that electronic number counter sign to let people know it s their turn. You d have to move it from behind the meat counter to the front door. People could clearly see it from their car.
Right now, Mike s is a great place to get great meat and then get sick from their feeble attempt to social distance their customers. Incredibly irresponsible.
Very friendly staff; I mentioned it was my first time & the lady walked me through my sandwich order. She also gave me a free cheese dip since it was my first visit. My sandwich was very tasty! I normally pack my lunch for work but I m glad I ran out of food yesterday & decided to try this place out today. You guys earned yourselves another customer; thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. For me the two big draws are the deli counter and the meat counter. Their meat, fish, and poultry are always fresh, and taste wonderful. A nice selection of fish, different trout bass and tilapia. Their bones skinless chicken breasts are great for stir fry, the steaks are fantastic and the pork is delicious. The deli counter is good the fresh sandwiches are great, and the deli sides rock. Love the grilled avocado.
