From the first moment you step in this restaurant the stuff gives you an agreeable feeling. Very hospitable hosts, it is a happy place to hang out with friends and colleagues or with your date. Great cuisine, professional chef de cuisine, reasonable pay and courteous service. Warmly recommended.

I take my family to this restaurant a lot! This is the best place to grab a bite. I go to this spot at least once a month. The food is just great, the team is helpful and the prices are decent. I like meeting in this place to have a decent dinner.

Their BBQ family combo and Korean hot stone dishes are my top choices. The service is excellent, as well as the food. It s unfortunate that it s slightly pricy compare to other restaurants in same area. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for family gathering and milestone celebration.

Amazing quality of food and service. Everything including their kimchi dishes are homemade. Their grills are clean and their staff is always attentive and respectful. Everytime we done there, they pay close attention to accommodate my gluten allergy to make our experience memorable. Cheers

I was initially a bit apprehensive about the price but considering the amazing service and giant quantities of amazing food I can happily say I will be going back. I went with 5 people and we got the family combo which was fantastic and we left stuffed. The server was very polite and helpful. I highly recommend this place

The quality of the meat is great. I enjoy this spot for Korean BBQ. We order and spend a lot of money here. The last 2 times we went, the server forcefully puts all our meat (piling it) on the grill. She was basically pushing us to leave... For that reason, I hesitate to come back. This is not a nice experience especially for a regular customer that spends $200 between 2 people.

Lovely staff, with great tasting food. Went there for lunch, and had a beef kimchi hot stone pot be bim bap (Sp?) with added vegetables. The added vegetables wasn't a good idea, but still very tasty. Nice sides. Go at lunch time when prices are very reasonable.

I used to like this restaurant and went there on so many occasions.

I recently went there for the all-you-can-eat lunch with my wife and four kids. The experience was a horrible one.

When we ordered our items, the server gave us a look of disgust and asked us if we would like a smaller serving instead. We were surprised at her response and politely said that we would like that indeed and will have no problem finishing it with the kids. If I remember correctly, it was a 5 serving of the Korean short rib; but mind you that their single serving is only about 3 pieces or so for the all-you-can-eat.

Then EVERY SINGLE time we ordered food after that, the server gave us the same look or made other comments like "Are you sure?" or "That's A LOT" or "I think that's too much", etc....

Once, we placed order for more because the food was taking too long to come out and we were waiting in between. And she told us to wait for the food to come out. Then, she would take the next order.

WTF!?!?!

I had the words "Is this an all-you-can-eat lunch? Have you been told my the management?" right up to my throat and may have made a scene if it weren't for my wife.

How insulting and irritating the server was.

Then, we saw were whispering to her coworker (we were in a somewhat separate area from the main dining section toward the front of the restaurant) and the coworker stealing glances as she kept passing by. The same with the kitchen staff.

Now, we don't eat THAT much. But with four growing kids, I think it's reasonable to assume that they will eat. We were used to restaurants like August 8th (great restaurant), Sushi Asano (another good choice), and even the one next door.

I guess Miga was going broke without the all-you-can-eat and felt that they had to offer it but decided to make it as unpleasant for the customers as possible so that they wouldn't eat too much.

What a joke!

Totally hated the experience and will NEVER go back to Miga. They lost a long time customer (been going there since their opening).

If you are in mood for all-you-can-eat, go to the restaurant next door. If you're close to Oakville, try August 8th. If you're close to Burlington, Sushi Asano is a pretty good alternative.

Were there for business dinner, party of 8.
I will return, I recommend.

A surprisingly kid-friendly experience feom an old fave restaurant:
I have been going to miga since it opened... It's always been really good. But i hadnt gone there for a while... This time I went back with my 17-month old son. I was expecting the worst. Let me preface this by saying my experience with bringing a kid to other restaurants has been stressful. I have come to not expect much from restaurants. Miga surprised us with how accommodating and on-the-ball they were when we walked in holding a toddler. A literal TEAM of people jumped in to grab a high chair, wash it (which i had never seen any restaurant do) and bring it over. Without being asked or prompted, they also brought out a child-sized spoon and fork, took the fragile and dangerous implements away, and brought a cup with a lid and a bendy straw with water. I reiterate, all without being asked.

Miga is probably the best Korean food I've had in all of Toronto. The quality of meat and the side dishes are def the best i have had in a long time. People who want to have an authentic korean food experience that is "non-fastfood"-like should definitely go and try this restaurant. I would recommend any of the Korean BBQ meat dishes as it is the best quality I've had. Many people think that Korean BBQ is low quality but the meat I've had here is def on par with the high end steak houses i would recommend the Kalbi dish as well as the Premium meat dish, though it is a bit pricey you will not be disappointed! Service is great as usual and the staff is super friendly and will help you choose the best dish you want!! Always a fan and will keep on coming!

Came from Hamilton to try this place. Meat was decent quality. The kimchi was awful. Anybody who knows good Korean kimchi knows that the kimchi here is terrible. Their noodle dishes such as nangmyun (cold noodles) were below average. Service was good, friendly.

Miga will completely change your views on Korean BBQ! We've only had AYCE Korean BBQ, so Miga was definitely a change in quality and service. We got the classic combo which included Prime ribeye (Jumuluk), AAA+ short rib (Saeng Galbi), Premium Beef Tongue and Maple leaf pork belly. The quality of meat was so much better than anything we had before! Even the marbling on meat was just exquisite. The service was also amazing and attentive, with our server offering to change grill plates quite often. I'd highly recommend this establishment for a romantic date or special occasion.

Navigating the treacherous world of Korean BBQ. Steak perfection at its finest. The Sake pairs perfectly. Highly indulgent but the service and food quality can t be beat. Expensive, but so, so well worth it

Celebration of birthday was the main reason we choose Miga Restaurant. It is cosy and have our own space.
We choose two BBQ sets, that is, Wagyu Beef with lobster, abalone and scallops and Classic which has samgyupsal (pork belly), galbi (marinated beef) and beef tongue.
Have never tasted such excellent but very expensive beef (Wagyu) from Japan. It melts in the mouth and could not get enough of it. The other beef is good.
Overall the meal were great.
Server is quick and change the barbecue plate during our meal.

We go to migas for nice celebrations because the food is kind of expensive. What we enjoy the most is the customer service and the experience. The place feels very upscale for being located in mississauga. The food is good but I wouldn't say it's a good deal in terms of portions for the BBQ part. The dinner for 2 for the BBQ is not enough to leave us full so we usually order a rice bowl or a stew. The one thing that I don't like is that they somehow sell out of their best and cheapest BBQ combo for 2 which leaves us with no choice but to order the more expensive one that has less flavor. I don't know how you can run out of a popular bbq combo by 7pm on a weekend but ok. This happened about 7 of the 10 times we have gone. Since we are ready to spend, the price difference is not too much of an issue but the cheaper one has better seasoning/taste. Overall I will continue to visit this place religiously because the experience is otherwise amazing.

Guess it depends on what your accustomed to / expectations are. Tasty meat selection, but definitely won't be eating there again. (Food was fine, service was fine, experience was fine...) Portion shown was $70, not quite enough for two moderate eaters.

Great experience with the Korean BBQ. Hardly my first time, although it was my first time at Miga. The quality of meat and service was great.

It is on the expensive side, but the higher price could be seen largely due to the quality of service. At Miga, as soon as your grill starts to smoke(even a small amount) one of the servers, even passing by would change the grill. Most Korean BBQ spots you have to chase someone to get them change the grills.

Banchan was great, Kimchi was a favourite. I would absolutely go back again.

Perfect ambiance, delicious food! Has significantly more choices in their menu than other korean bbq place. The staff is very nice too! Highly recommend it most especially for special occassions

Portions of meat are ridiculously small and expensive. And it's not the best quality either. Side dishes are literally a spoonful. My Korean friend heard the owner say give customers less so they can order more. That should tell you everything about this place and what it stands for.

Soggy chicken bowl is really good. Lots of chicken, rice, and the hot bowl makes everything crunchy near the bottom. The lunch special is reasonably priced around the 15$ mark so it's great feel in my opinion. I've been here twice and enjoyed it both times and I will probably return.

The staff was amazing particularly the korean waiter who had an acorn-like korean drama haircut. It was my boyfriend and I's first time at Miga, so he took the time to explain the whole menu and was very friendly + points for patio set up

Korean bbq with non marinated beef, was great! Only reason for the 4 stars is that the portion was on the small end. All the sides and veges were great. Service was prompt and the servers were attentive. Price was reasonable for this type of food.

We went on a Friday night at 6:30 pm and there was no wait. I had the Tofu and Vegetable stone pot ($16.95). It was very minimally seasoned, which I was happy with, as most places oversalt their food; this was NOT oversalted, at all. The rice got crispy and chewy as it sat in the hot stone bowl. Delicious! You would not be able to order a stone pot and have a baby/toddler sitting in your lap--the bowl is sizzling hot and a little hand waving around could accidentally get burned if it touched the bowl. The veggies were fresh and crispy, cut in 5 inch long julienned strips. The meal came with free appetisers: bean sprouts, potatoes, and Asian greens, which came attractively plated in a little 3 compartment tray. Miso soup and a serving of kimchi and oysters also came free with the meal. Our waitress asked if there were any allergies and she was very solicitous when I told her I was allergic to seafood. She advised me that the miso soup had a sprinkle of seafood powder and she offered to substitute it with a salad. The salad came with an Asian sesame dressing which was very tasty. The waitress also asked if I were vegetarian, and I think she would have advised me about vegetarian choices if I were. My husband had the Bulgolgi stonepot ($17.95) and my son had the Shoyu Ramen Set ($22.95), which is a bowl of ramen, and a bowl of rice topped with the protein of your choice. They will adjust the spiciness level to your liking. My son didn't like the boiled egg and seaweed in the ramen, but was otherwise happy with his dish. Miga also has very inexpensive takeout deals. We took home a bulgolgi beef order, which comes with sides and dumplings in a cute compartmentalised tray, for $11.00. Pleasant, casual atmosphere with dark woods and big screen TV. Clientele was mostly Asian. I highly recommend Miga.

Lovely location, well decorated with great service and friendly staff! Some of the lunch specials are pretty bland though, like the spicy chicken stone pot for example, not much flavor and comes with just 2, pieces of broccoli. The other dishes such as bulgogi are fine though.

Everything was pretty fire, from the outdoor atmosphere to the quality of the food and meat (inside looks classy, too). Still, getting that bbq combo didn't feel worth 140+ after tax. My rating would be higher if the total price was equal to the overall experience (edit: I should probably appreciate the price of wagyu)

We like a lot to go out. Yesterday we went to this magnificent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We passed a lovely experience there with delicious dishes and an efficient crew and a distinguished cuisine. We put this venue in our phone list and we shall no doubt go again very soon. We highly recommend.

So Miga is not cheap! Let s cross that hurdle first.
However, once we are over that:
Food: Excellent quality and delicious
Service: Service here is atypically excellent. Staff is very service oriented and have a watchful eye on the needs of the diners. The manager even came around to inquire about our dining experience.
Dining experience: an over-table exhaust efficiently extracted the smoke and the grill was changed numerous times to ensure the removal of burnt residue. The friendly staff and manager ensured us a most pleasant experience.
Definitely worth trying.
