My grandma came in and had a stroke. They did a CT scan and sent her home. During that time she was slurring her speech and confused. Still they sent her home! Next day I go check on her and tell my mom things that are not normal. I m a nursing student btw. Because I m only 17 and can t make an appointment. My mom called her doctor and said to get her to Dubuque Mercy ASAP! We get there to find out after a MRI it was in fact a stroke! She could of been dead! She could of had permanent brain damage! Thankfully she will make a full recovery by the grace of god. If your in the area plz go to Dubuque!

Emergency department all staff were more then helpful and caring. Thorough and took time to treat our family as people and not just a room number. Very pleased with services and theyhthey always called to check in after visit.

I cut my thumb pretty badly while camping down the street at Palace Campground. Once we found the place, the extremely polite staff had me in and out of there in an hour and change, with something like five stitches. If this had happened in Chicago, where we live, I would have been in the hospital for the better part of a day just waiting.

We were on vacation and wanted to get our 7month old checked for pink eye. I called Saturday morning, they told me to come in to the clinic. We were in and out in an hour. The staff was great. The nurse practitioner that we saw, Peg, couldn t have been nicer. She was great with our daughter! Checked her out completely and decided it was an eye infection. Thank you Midwest Medical for getting us into your beautiful facility in such a timely manner so we could get back to enjoying our vacation.

Midwest won t administer test without Doctors order !! Jo Daviess Health Department has no procedures. Covid hotline disconnected. Feel like I m visiting 3rd world country!! No wonder pandemic deaths are high here

spoke with kunea or kisha , anyways girlfriend gets really severe double ear infections that can cause her to go to the emergency room. called to set an appointment and this useless nurse kept saying to go to an eye doctor bc the pain had made her vision blur. She at no point was listening to me and asked if she had flu like symptoms , upon saying I wasn't sure. she said she wouldn't make an appointment with out a covid test . we are both vaccinated and an eye doctor will not help with a double ear infection. if anything happens to her due to neglect and laziness I will pursue this practice with all my free time in court

By far the best experience I ve ever had with an emergency room. While I would never wish an emergency visit upon anyone, if it does happen, this is the place to be. In and out with broken ribs after x-rays and a very helpful and knowledgeable staff within 45 minutes of checking in. Could not be more satisfied with my visit. If only this were my hospital in my hometown! A nurse called a couple days later just to check in and see how I was feeling, such a friendly environment. Everybody working there almost makes you forget you re in the ER!

Director of Nursing Corey dropped everything to make sure I was taken care of. It was a hard day, but they did everything in their power to help me feel better. My nurses and CNA were all very caring. I wanted to hug them!

The doctors are wonderful, and helpful. Staff is friendly caring compassionate. They're always polite and respectful. I couldn't be happier with there services.
