This University is not like any other. They use lots of technology to make practically anything you need to do very easy.
Take a class, improve yourself or pursue a degree and you'll not regret it. There are LOTS of moving parts to a university. Here you can actually email someone and get a reply.
They'll really try to help you. Just ask them. They're flexible and easy to work with.
I expected better treatment. A university should be hospitable.
This school isn't worth the high cost. Many of the programs, such as teaching, are losing accreditation. Several students aren't able to graduate in four years because the requirements are constantly changing.
I attended this university a few years ago. I chose it for the seemingly excellent quality in education, setting and the possibility of new friends/experiences. I attended in the daytime, which was a girls only school at the time. I do not know if the day classes are co-ed or not now. For the tuition I paid to attend a so called prestigious school. Here is the sum total of what I received from Midway.
*Professors that acted as if they could care less.
*Constantly no response or advice from advisors.
*Staff up to an including the libarian very rude and incompetent.
* Most computers are broken or virus infested.
*Financial department that you have to do their job for.
I transfered out after 18 months and received a damn fine education from EKU. It was astounding how many other former Midway students I met there. You have been warned. Stay Away!!!!
I love Midway. It's a wonderful small school. Very close community as well.
