We Experienced love and kindness as we were there with our brother. He has since passed away. We are grateful for this place and the workers( The palliative care doctors ,Nurses, Nursing Aids, Social Workers, Clergymen, Housekeepers, Cooks , Volunteers) Words could never express our appreciation and gratitude
My family has been served by Midland Care and they really did treat both my grandma and grandpa like one of their own. I'm very thankful for the support they have provided our family.
Additionally, I am now working at Midland Care and I am truly impressed. I would have never decided to even apply for my job if it wasn't for my experience with how they treated my grandparents.
You should run far, far away from this place!!!! They let my sister's father-in-law walk out the door without any medications, clothes, etc. They also had no idea he was gone for hours. Sadly, they have taken no ownership for the fact that they let a patient walk out the door and get 3 states away. They will not even talk to my sister or try to amend the situation!! You should put your loved ones in a safe place where they will be cared for and not allowed to walk out whenever they feel like it. STAY AWAY FROM MIDLAND IF YOU WANT YOUR FAMILY SAFE!!!
They went above and beyond to help my wife and made it very comfortable for her last few days the staff are amazing very kind and take pride in what they do. Thank you for all you do to all the staff that made it possible and genuinely care for her thank you
Pace allowed my grandma to live at home until she was 96 years old. There were excellent help from housekeeping to medicines in pre-packaged pills and even providing additional resources I didn't know I needed. When I needed encouraged the staff did that, (dying is hard on those left behind) Dr Nelson is truly remarkable. My heart is missing my grandma but I know she lived a full life and died the way she wanted thanks to Pace and the staff.
I deliver meals on wheels. It is so rewarding to visit with recipients who are unable to be out and about. The meals are hot, tasty, food chosen by clients. If you have some spare time please volunteer. They need U too.
Excellent care! Such a great staff and they are very attentive. If I ever have a question or concern, someone there is addressing the issue immediately. They have done so much for my father. The staff is also so easy to work with and are very friendly.
Please beware of Midland Pace, our experience with them has been the worst. We trusted them with our loved one and it couldn't have turned out worse. Our loved one has dementia for which we had some major concerns. He was very troubled due to the frustration of this medical condition. We expressed those concerns to Midland Pace and were continually looking for answers. Under their care we trusted them to help but they really neglected our family and loved one. It seems like every suggestion they made continually made our family situation worse until ultimately tragedy struck. He was able to walk away from the facility and no one at Pace was aware for hours. We had no idea where he went, initially it seemed Pace was going to be helpful and cared about our situation, but after a short period of searching they washed their hands saying they couldn't do anything more. We felt abandoned and on our own to locate our loved one. On their website they say "We are always available to make sure your needs are met" that statement is a complete lie. To this day they have not called to see how we are doing or see how they could help. Our family has been grieving and hurting and Midland Pace does not care. Needless to say we do not want any other families going through what we have gone through. Please find a different program for your loved one. This could happen to your loved one......ARE THEY SAFE AT MIDLAND PACE?
Although I wasn't there as long I would have liked I observed compassionate care towards our dad while there. I'm greatfull he didn't have to move to a different facility due to insurance reasons. He passed away peacefully.
The facilities were pleasant and clean. The staff and nurses were kind and responsive. Even offered meals, free, to family visiting. It was as comforting experience as I could imagine, especially during COVID.
