Bought a car from Jamie at Cuffley Motor Co recently, the service was brilliant, we had as much time as we needed to view the car before we decided to buy, really lovely dealership and Jamie is a very personable person, really puts the customer at ease, no hard selling and was just such a pleasure to deal with such a nice dealership. Would highly recommend and would come back again in the future. Love my Clio, car is perfect, thank you.

It s salesman like the ones that work at Cuffley that give second hand car dealerships a bad name. They sold me the dream upon purchasing a car from them. Got 5 minutes down the road and the car broke down despite having a MOT and a once over the day before. It took them 4 days to look at the car, and a further 2 days to fix the engine issues. I initially spoke to the mechanic who sounded like he wasn t too sure what was wrong with it, but since he change something the car seemed to be running fine and he was 95% sure it was all fixed . Not exactly what you want to hear from a mechanic. I then spoke to the so called salesman that sold me the car, who continued to sell me the dream, saying how the car has never driven better . He somehow thought that by them fixing the car, was doing me a favour and I should therefore be thankful. I then requested a further 3months warranty on top of the existing 3months, as compensation and reassurance of the ordeal I had gone through. I was rudely told that they would sell the car on without an issue and refused to offer me anything extra, so agreed to give me my money back, once I had dropped off their barely roadworthy 16 year old banger curtesy car. This place is dodgy to say the least! Shocking customer service and is only interested in quick no questions asked business. I would give 0/5 if it was an option

Fantastic service - went to view the Audi of our dreams and James the Sales Manager, was amazing, not pressure, relaxed atmosphere and answered all our questions.
Regardless of how busy the phones were, James made a point of giving us his undivided attention and gave us all information that we needed. From beginning to end the whole experience of buying a car from James was worth while, the wife and I have agreed that we will definitely be visiting James again for our next car.

James has restored our faith in car dealerships, but, honestly we will only ever consider buying from Cuffley, as long as James is around we will certainly be returning.

Within the first week there was a issue with the monitor as it kept giving an oil light signal. I brought it in and they kindly changed the sensor. no problems since.

Went to look at an Audi RS4, 2 weeks ago after speaking to the guys on the phone previous to my visit. Got there and felt very welcome and as soon as i said my name they knew exactly what i was there for (little things go a long way with me) very impressed. They Let me and a friend check over the car on our own with no looking over our shoulders which on it's own made us feel they had nothing to hide. Any thing we asked was not a problem and answered straight away. Offered tea and coffee while we was there which was a nice touch. They did make it clear they prefer to look over the vehicle's before they go which is understandable but as i came a distance we came to a very reasonable deal and was able to take it away there and then. Got it serviced straight away and found nothing unusual for a 13 year old car. Can't recommend these guys enough. Jamie on the phone was great and Matt who i dealt with on the day couldn't of been more helpful. Thanks again Cuffley Motor Co. Was a pleasure dealing with you.

Have used services for all my cars (including ones under warranty) for years now and they have always been great. No job too small, always up front with costs. New tyres today at a days notice, why would you not use them, especially if you are local.

Great experience buying my Mini from these guys. I pointed out a few bits I wanted done on the car when I put the deposite down and the car was exactly how I wanted it when I went to pick it up a week later.

I recently purchased a lovely Mini from Jamie at CMC and had reservations about car dealerships having had my fingers burnt once with a bad experience but he has restored my faith.
They are ultimate pros made us feel totally at ease and even didn t mind me non stop chasing him as I was eager to collect my car which was having a full valet and MOT before he let me loose with it!

Just won a car from this Company on ebay, they dispose of their trade in vehicles on ebay. I won the auction fair and square...the winning price was stacked more in my favour then theirs but hey...thats auctions. When i rang to arrange payment and collection of the vehicle...i was told that the person who was dealing with the sale was on holiday and that the car wasn't availble for sale any more as it had developed a gear box problem within the last 12 hours of the ebay auction!!!! It obviously did'nrt reach the price they wanted in the auction...its a real shame when you deal openly and honestly with people and they return the courtesy by telling lies and acting in a dishonest way....quite obviously...the car didnt reach their expected price level and they have fobbed me off with nonsense...trade with them if you must...but keep one eye on them...their used car dealers !!!

Initially really good service until I bought the car...but when 2 weeks later when I got two punctures...i had to get them fixed to get home, I was told all the rims had inside cracks and were badley repaired.
Went back to cuffley motors...and was told rudley,that I had caused the problem.They wouldnt pay the bill, and was told that I should have bought it back to them..they could have done it cheaper. Only gave 1 star as there wasnt a zero

I live abroad and bought a used car from Cuffley Motors without even seeing the vehicle in person. Jaimie and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they even delivered the car to the freight company for me. I have just collected the car from customs and am delighted with my purchase. After refering to there advert in ebay, I went to buy a car. The dealer sold to me with fake Service history, with wrong documents. the dealer even convinced that the car could be used without tax disk and puting me in trouble by invalidating my insurance without tax disc.
I returned the car next day refusing the car. He was not ready to give my full money back. I aproached trading standards, online comunity forums and solicitors to get my money back from the dealer.

I thank online comunity here for helping me, hence I am contributing this review to the online users. Today I got an email from them to remove this review. I dont think they deserve for the pain that went through.

Whilst buying the car I found issues on the car that they had already known about but failed to tell me. They agreed to fix the issues. However when I picked the car up and took it home, the car developed more faults. Their service centre does not have the capabilities to diagnose the faults which are quite easily diagnosed by any normal garage. There were error codes present that were picked up by a major breakdown recovery company and my own garage. However Cuffley motors kept dismissing the issues. Having had the car in their service centre a second time, they then had their own 'specialist' garage (another garage) look at it. They only replaced one of about 5 components needing replacement. When I picked up the car it was running worst than ever! They stopped replying to my emails or returning phone calls. I had to sell the car at a big loss as it was going to be too expensive to fix properly and I couldn't risk my family in it. They are a friendly sales team but are incompetent and dismissive when it comes to experiencing problems with their cars. They provide their own warranty, not a third party or insurance backed warranty hence they are less willing to resolve issues. I hadn't realised new laws have come in end of last year that meant I could have legally rejected the car and get all my money back. Oh well, I hope others learn from this.

Bought a BMW X1 a week again and could not be any more delighted with the car and the service we received from Matt. We have previously had issues buying 2nd hand cars online, but Matt was open and honest about every detail and any minor imperfections the car had. Thanks again for delivering it in person!

Friendly service and a fantastic range of cars at a reasonable price considering the location of the garage. But they never actually give any of they cars a once over to check for any problems. Their garage mechanical experience is nothing more than giving the cars a good clean and a wash, any fool could do that. The car I brought is fantastic, but it did have an issue with the windscreen washer pump which their so called highly trained but mostly blind and incompetent engineers failed to pick up. Apparently Cuffley Motors said it was an intermittent fault. So that statement means that they were aware of the fault but ignored it, nice one guys. Also when confronting the sales team with the issue, your greeted with a wall of utter complete lies and stupid excuses spouting out of the mouth of spineless cowered. I don't care about the money to fix the car. It's the fact they knowingly lie to my face. I think Cuffley Motors must have gone to the ostrich school of business study's.
So in summing up Cuffley Motors, nice car, sales team lie to your face and a garage full of mechanics who can fix sod all. But I am happy with the car. Please Cuffley Motors, just stop lying, and man up a bit. Thankyou Jamie for taking time to read my review. And yes your right it is disappointing that you never really took the time out to hear the issue with the car. The first call I made you avoided the issue by claiming Saturday was a bad time to call and would return the call on the following Monday, which you didn't. A week later I had to call you. We came to a civil agreement, sadly you failed to uphold this agreement. It was only when I left a review on the social network that you suddenly realized you should call back, something about not wanting customers leaving bad reviews I suspect. Anyway I forgive you, I know you can't help it. But another issue has come to light. Recently had the car serviced at Winchmore hill service centre, who I would like to point out are utterly amazing people, so professional, friendly, top mechanics and never miss or over look any issue. I can't thank the good guys of WHSC enough. Fantastic. They found that the car had suffered a minor front impact in the past, lucky WHSC came to the rescue and all is running as it should. Now this is not the fault of Cuffley Motors, they wouldn't of known. WHSC said that Cuffley Motors wouldn't have known, only a professional like WHSC have the know how to understand and resolve an issue like this. But it does bring to light again that Cuffley Motors, as before with the wiper pump issue previously that Cuffley Motors do not have the ability and professional know how to spot and resolve issues with cars. WHSC are professional mechanic's with years of experience. And Cuffley Motors just sell cars and really have no understanding of how a car works and what to look out for when buying in new stock. So my warning to other buyers purchasing a car from Cuffley Motors, get the car professional check before for buying. Cuffley Motors do sell a range of fantastic cars that much is true I can't deny that and Jamie is overall a nice pleasant chap and always give a great deal on trading in a car. But they just fall head first flat on their face when anything mechanical is involved.

Spoke to Jamie and said was travelling up from Kent to them, and on our arrival he made us welcome and provided coffee.

Found the perfect car for my wife (Cooper S convertible) car was immaculate, needed some stitching done on drivers seat (usual wearing point on seats for age etc) and a replacement rear lens (cracked).

Closed a deal with Jamie, who was polite and didn't do any of the pressured sales chat, just let us browse and decide in our own time.

On collection of the Mini, fantastic job done on seat and rear lens all sorted.

Overall, a very good experience, Jamie explained their aftersales facility and I would return to these guys when it's my turn for a new car, based on the service and professionalism we received.

Only minus point....... Jamie's a Spurs supporter, but then, someone has to!

I purchased a Range Rover Vogue 2008 from this company and had no issues since the purchase as I had traveled from Derby and it was not a wasted journey as the vehicle met all my requirements. Cuffley motors answered all my queries even about the HPI check I ran and were very helpful, I had some doubts having read some other reviews but in my own personal experience dealing with Cuffley motors it was a very good experience from start to finish. I would not hesitate to deal with this company again. I had taken the vehicle to my local Land Rover dealership to have a full diagnostic check which came back with no major issues which Cuffley Motors had said that everything was in good running order but I wanted to make sure whilst the vehicle was still within their 3 month warranty period. A company to deal with.

I asked many questions about the car i was buying and what would be the best option for me to buy. I also was given a very good offer on my trade in car which was more than any of the other online car buying offers. It really was a friendly efficient service . Spent a lot of time looking for a second-hand Range Rover and visited a number of dealerships, If you want a personal, professional experience you could do a lot worse than Cuffleys. when parting with 15k plus you want piece of mind that you have some comeback and reassurance I got this as soon as I walked in the door. there are not many firms left that don't change their names ever few years to avoid poor customer service and the VAT man. I can be very picky and went through the car pointing out any imperfection, all were resolved, picking up the car a couple of days later I wasn't disappointed, when I need my next car I will visit Cuffley's to see what's in stock

I bought a fiat 500 from Cuffley Motors today. Just wanted to say what a Brilliant Experience I had throughout the whole deal, from the owner Jamie (Who is very down to earth) to his Salesmen James and Matt all the way to his Valeting Man who did a Great Job.
Rang Up a few weeks to enquire about Part Exchanging my Bmw X6 for there BMW 3 Series M Sport, after being messed about from other Dealers offering ridiculously Low Part Exchanges and This 3 Series being over 2k cheaper then any similar on the market I wasn't confident that I would receive a good deal.....How wrong was I, They offered a Great Price for Mine and I agreed straight away. I explained I was using my own Finance company and again the garage was fine (Unlike others who want the Finance Commission). Due to being on Holiday and work commitments I couldn't get down down for approx 2 weeks, explained this and again the Garage agreed to hold the Car and didn't want a deposit leaving.
today I travelled 250 miles and collected the Vehicle. On arrival I was greeted by the staff who bent over backwards to issue me with refreshments whilst I completed the Deal, The Deal took quite a while due to the slow work from My Finance Company but the Garage always kept making sure I had a drink and Salesman Matt even offered to get My Dinner for Me. When My New Car was ready it was in immaculate Condition and I couldn't be happier. In the Who 18 years I have been Purchasing vehicles I have never had such a Great experience, It's a great family run business and You can See why they have been trading over 30yrs. I Must also say whilst waiting for my Finance to be agreed it give me some time to look at there other stock and they have a fantastic variety of vehicles all in great condition.

Top class mechanics & service manager in there workshop

Friendly service but the "good once-over" did not include opening the bonnet! I would have thought that changing or at least checking engine oil is a minimum one could expect.. Looking at car's service history and assuming all is ok isn't quite good enough.
I bought Subaru Legacy and yes, you ve had no contact from me since I wouldn t have driven over a thousand miles to have oil topped up by you, obviously!

Purchased a Fiat 500 for my wife. The car was well presented upon collection and on time. I put the car into my own garage for a full fluid service as I do with all 2nd hand cars I buy.
