Whilst buying the car I found issues on the car that they had already known about but failed to tell me. They agreed to fix the issues. However when I picked the car up and took it home, the car developed more faults. Their service centre does not have the capabilities to diagnose the faults which are quite easily diagnosed by any normal garage. There were error codes present that were picked up by a major breakdown recovery company and my own garage. However Cuffley motors kept dismissing the issues. Having had the car in their service centre a second time, they then had their own 'specialist' garage (another garage) look at it. They only replaced one of about 5 components needing replacement. When I picked up the car it was running worst than ever! They stopped replying to my emails or returning phone calls. I had to sell the car at a big loss as it was going to be too expensive to fix properly and I couldn't risk my family in it. They are a friendly sales team but are incompetent and dismissive when it comes to experiencing problems with their cars. They provide their own warranty, not a third party or insurance backed warranty hence they are less willing to resolve issues. I hadn't realised new laws have come in end of last year that meant I could have legally rejected the car and get all my money back. Oh well, I hope others learn from this.
