I apologize for my review, it was the fault of a woman I found in an agency, after I spoke with a good agent and he explained to me that the problem is simply that to insure a motorcycle, I must have an insured car.

They are definitely not professional as they claim to be, and not as other competitors in malta, believe me. After a number of cases and incredible events, such as even their loss of sent documentation, or the incredibly low speed through which they process requests, I really have to state I am very dissatisfied by their service.
Absolutely disgusting! Claims department that don't even know the difference between a Hire Purchase and a Registration Exempt Car!! Held my discharge letter for 4 days cause of that and now since they resolved that issue been waiting for week for the letter being told every day that I will receive it by 5pm. This not yet happened and still awaiting this letter!! Been without a car for a month keeping in mind that the person that was involved in the accident filed his claim 2 days after the accident. Avoid Mapfre and save yourself from hassle and incompetence!!

So after all the hassle I had with getting my claim sorted my payment was sent to a previous address which I never given Mapfre!! Keeping in mind that I have given a copy of my current ID Card, Log Book and also my policy is on the address where I live... GDPR went out of the window and lucky that I got the cheque that was sent to my old address!! When asked the call centre all they could say is they don't know how they happened!!
Disgusting service. Left without a rental car when one of their clients wrecked my car. Not at fault and still have to pay for someone else's' mistake. Such a disgrace. NEVER INSURE WITH THIS COMPANY. UNRELIABLE. BAD SERVICE. edit re comment: my details are already in your system.
A disgrace of an insurance company. Losing documents after submitting a claim which is in your favour. Claims department NEVER even takes your phone call. Stay away, certainly the worst insurance company i had to deal it.
Now this is unbelievable!!! I placed a claim (21.06.16) for a car accident I had on the 19th June 2016 and until today I m still waiting for my car parts. To add insult to injury and unfortunately for me, since then I had another case of hit & run to my car and placed another claim on 17th August 2016. After various enquires with regards to arrival of my car parts, I have today been informed by my panel beater that ONLY some parts from my second claim have been delivered to him whilst there is no trace of my first claim parts!!! This is totally unacceptable to say the least, bearing in mind that I have been with a broken car since June 2016!!! Can someone look into this issue please and settle immediately. Mapfre Middlesea Insurance will accept your fees but not necessarily attend to their duties should an accident happen. They will bury the case and ignore your requests during one year until you take a lawyer and send them to Court. Bad professionals and dishonest people!
Avoid Mapfre/Middlesea for home insurance. They will expect you to pay 50-60,000 for all repairs yourself before they will even consider giving you money. They just don t get that we have insurance because we don t have 50,000 in our pockets to cover every disaster. Then they will only pay for your contents once you, again, find the money to pay for it all yourself. And they will demand you have receipts for shoes, CDs, etc you bought 30 years ago. Their onerous and unreasonable methods cause delays as they hold your money ransom. They know you will eventually give in and accept lower cash offer. And for any work done, they will only accept the lowest quote, with absolutely no consideration for the quality of work or workers. If you think you have nice things or a nice place, they will ignore that. I can go on, but just avoid Mapfre/Middlesea.
